What is Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees?
Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees is part of this pack, and the version you get here is 1.0.9. It is built for NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.1, and the jar is named pamhc2trees-NEOFORGE-1.21.1-1.0.9.jar.[1]
It isn't a new addition. It was first included in version 2.25 of the pack or earlier, so it has been around for a long time.[1]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what the mod adds, which items or trees it has, or where it fits in the pack's progression. They also don't show it on the ATM Star path or tied to any quests. Treat all of that as unconfirmed until it's checked in game.
How do you get started with Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees?
3 parts
Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees adds fruit, nut and spice trees, and in this pack the recipe data I have is all about saplings. So your first steps are about turning saplings into the tree you want.[2]
How the saplings work
Every sapling from this mod has a shapeless crafting recipe. You combine one matching item for that tree with any sapling from the vanilla sapling tag, and you get the new sapling. So you need a plain sapling and the right item for the tree you want.[2]
The apple tree is a nice one to start with, because its recipe uses a vanilla item rather than a modded one.[2]
This is the in-pack recipe for the Apple Sapling.
Most other trees follow the same pattern with their own item. The Cherry Sapling is a good example of the standard recipe.[2]
This is the in-pack recipe for the Cherry Sapling.
The odd ones out
A few saplings don't use a fruit or nut item. The Acorn Sapling uses the Acorn, and the Maple Sapling uses Maplesyrupitem. The Paperbark Sapling and the Spiderweb Sapling each use a vanilla item. They all still need a sapling from the vanilla sapling tag too.[2]

Your first steps, in order
- Get hold of a sapling from the vanilla sapling tag. Every sapling recipe from this mod needs one.[2]
- Pick a tree and find its matching item. The apple tree is a simple place to begin, since its recipe uses a vanilla item.[2]
- Craft the sapling in a crafting grid. The recipes are shapeless, so the layout doesn't matter.[2]
- Check the Farming for Blockheads market for ready-made saplings. The pack has changed market recipes for this mod's saplings, including almond, apple, apricot, avocado, banana, breadfruit, candlenut, cashew, cherry, chestnut, cinnamon, coconut, date and dragonfruit.[2]
How does Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees work?
3 parts
Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees adds saplings for many fruit and nut trees, and the only systems the pack's recipe data shows for it are sapling crafting recipes. Nothing in the sources describes machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or automation for this mod, so this section stays short.[2]
Crafting saplings
Every sapling recipe shown in the pack is a shapeless crafting recipe. You combine one fruit or nut item with any sapling from the vanilla sapling tag. Because the tag is open, it doesn't matter which sapling you use as the base. For example, Cherry plus any sapling gives you a Cherry Sapling.[2]
The standard pattern: a fruit item plus any sapling.
The same pattern covers a long list of trees. The recipes shown include Almond Sapling, Banana Sapling, Coconut Sapling, Lemon Sapling, Mango Sapling and Orange Sapling. In each case the matching fruit or nut item is the one you need.[2]
Recipes that break the pattern
A few saplings don't use a fruit item named after the tree. The Apple Sapling uses the vanilla apple, so you don't need a mod item for it.[2]

The Maple Sapling uses Maplesyrupitem instead of a fruit.[2]

What the sources don't cover
Unverified How the trees grow, how long they take to ripen, how fruit is harvested, whether any growth conditions apply and whether the trees can be automated are not explained in the available sources. The pack has no config files for this mod, and the recipe dump shows only part of the recipe list (95 more recipes were not shown), so check these details in game.
How do you progress through Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees?
2 parts
Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees has no tiers in this pack. The recipe data shows a flat progression: you get one fruit or nut tree, harvest its produce, and use that produce to unlock the next sapling.[2]
Unverified No quests in this pack involve this mod, and no in-jar guidebook was found for it. The sources here show no quest-driven order, so the path below comes only from the recipes.
Crafting saplings
Every tree sapling has a shapeless crafting recipe that also takes any sapling from the vanilla saplings tag. Most of them additionally take the matching produce item, such as the Cherry for the Cherry Sapling. So the first tree is your bottleneck, and later trees come from produce you have already grown.[2]
A typical produce-based sapling recipe: the produce plus any sapling from the saplings tag.
A few saplings are crafted from a different base item instead of produce: the Apple Sapling, Maple Sapling, Paperbark Sapling and Spiderweb Sapling. They still need any sapling from the saplings tag.[2]

The Market route
The pack also adds Market recipes for many of these saplings, and the recipe dump marks them as changed by the pack. The ones shown run from the Almond Sapling through the Peppercorn Sapling, and they list no item inputs. That makes the Market a second way to get a sapling besides the crafting chain.[2]

What changed in Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees between versions?
1 part
All the Mods 10 8.1 ships Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees 1.0.9, built for NeoForge 1.21.1. The mod was first included in All the Mods 10 2.25 or earlier, so it has been in the pack for a long time.[1]
Version bumps across pack releases
The pack changelogs record these updates to the mod. They only list the version change, not what changed inside the mod.[3][4][5][6][7][8]
- All the Mods 10 4.1: updated from 1.0.0 to 1.0.2.[8]
- All the Mods 10 4.3: updated from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3.[7]
- All the Mods 10 4.5: updated from 1.0.3 to 1.0.4.[6]
- All the Mods 10 5.5: updated from 1.0.4 to 1.0.7.[5]
- All the Mods 10 6.2: updated from 1.0.7 to 1.0.8.[4]
- All the Mods 10 6.3: updated from 1.0.8 to 1.0.9, the version still in 8.1.[1][3]
Unverified The sources don't include the mod's own changelogs for these versions, so the specific fixes, additions or balance changes in each update are unverified. If you're upgrading an old world, check the mod's release notes yourself before relying on any particular change.
