What is Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees?
This pack includes Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees version 1.0.0, the NeoForge build for Minecraft 1.21.1. It has been part of the pack since pack version 2.25 or earlier, so it is an established part of the modlist rather than a recent addition.[1]
Unverified The available pack files do not describe what this mod adds, who it is aimed at, or where it fits in the pack's progression. The pack files checked also show no quests involving the mod and do not place it on the ATM Star path.
How do you get started with Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees?
3 parts
Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees is all about fruit and nut trees, so your first goal is simple: get saplings in the ground. Every tree sapling from this mod has its own shapeless crafting recipe in this pack, which means you can craft one in any crafting grid as soon as you have the right items.[2]
Step 1: Craft your first saplings
Three saplings stand out for a fresh start because their recipes don't need anything from this mod: the Apple Sapling, the Paperbark Sapling and the Spiderweb Sapling. That makes them your easy entry point before you've found any of the mod's fruit.[2]
A good first tree for most players.
Step 2: Check the Farming for Blockheads Market
This pack also includes Farming for Blockheads Market entries for saplings from this mod, so you can get trees without finding their fruit first. The recipe dump shows Market entries for saplings such as the Almond Sapling, Banana Sapling, Cherry Sapling and Coconut Sapling. The dump lists these entries with no item inputs.[2]

Unverified The recipe dump doesn't show what the Market charges for these saplings. It also only shows Market entries for part of the sapling list, so it's unconfirmed whether every tree from this mod can be bought there.
Step 3: Turn fruit into more trees
Once you have fruit, you can expand your orchard. The same shapeless pattern repeats for almost every tree in the mod, from the Lemon Sapling to the Walnut Sapling. Any fruit or nut you pick up, like a Mango or an Acorn, can go toward a sapling of that tree.[2]
Every fruit sapling follows this same style of recipe.

How does Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees work?
3 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees adds saplings for many fruit and nut trees, and the only systems the pack's recipe data shows for it are sapling crafting recipes. Nothing in the sources describes machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or automation for this mod, so this section stays short.[3]
Crafting saplings
Every sapling recipe shown in the pack is a shapeless crafting recipe. You combine one fruit or nut item with any sapling from the vanilla sapling tag. Because the tag is open, it doesn't matter which sapling you use as the base. For example, Cherry plus any sapling gives you a Cherry Sapling.[3]
The standard pattern: a fruit item plus any sapling.
The same pattern covers a long list of trees. The recipes shown include Almond Sapling, Banana Sapling, Coconut Sapling, Lemon Sapling, Mango Sapling and Orange Sapling. In each case the matching fruit or nut item is the one you need.[3]
Recipes that break the pattern
A few saplings don't use a fruit item named after the tree. The Apple Sapling uses the vanilla apple, so you don't need a mod item for it.[3]
Vanilla apple plus any sapling.
The Maple Sapling uses Maplesyrupitem instead of a fruit.[3]

What the sources don't cover
Unverified How the trees grow, how long they take to ripen, how fruit is harvested, whether any growth conditions apply and whether the trees can be automated are not explained in the available sources. The pack has no config files for this mod, and the recipe dump shows only part of the recipe list (95 more recipes were not shown), so check these details in game.
How do you progress through Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees?
4 parts
This mod doesn't have a tier ladder in the pack. There are no machines to unlock and nothing to upgrade. Every tree comes down to one thing: getting its sapling. The in-pack recipes give you the same simple routes for each tree, so you can pick whichever fruits and nuts you want and start from there.[2]
Route 1: Craft saplings from crops
Every sapling in the mod has its own shapeless crafting recipe. For most trees, the key item is that tree's own crop. For example, you need Cherry for a Cherry Sapling and Walnut for a Walnut Sapling. Once you've got a single fruit or nut from somewhere, you can turn it into the matching sapling.[2]
Typical pattern: the other fruit and nut trees follow the same shape
Easy starters that don't need a Pam's crop
A few saplings skip the crop requirement, which makes them the easiest ones to get early. The Apple Sapling, Paperbark Sapling and Spiderweb Sapling all use vanilla items. The Maple Sapling uses Maplesyrupitem instead of a fruit. Check the recipes below for exactly what each one needs.[2]

Route 2: Buy saplings at the Market
The pack also sells many of these saplings through Farming for Blockheads Market entries. This is how you break the chicken-and-egg problem: if you have no Mango yet, you can pick up a Mango Sapling from the Market instead. The Market offers saplings like Almond Sapling, Banana Sapling, Coconut Sapling, Lemon Sapling and Pinenut Sapling, among others.[2]

Unverified The recipe dump doesn't show what each Market purchase costs. It also doesn't confirm whether every sapling in the mod, such as the Acorn Sapling, has a Market entry. Check in game before you plan around a specific purchase.
A simple path to follow
- Grab an easy starter sapling like the Apple Sapling or Paperbark Sapling, since their recipes only use vanilla items.[2]
- Use the Market to pick up saplings for the trees you have no crop for yet, like the Avocado Sapling or Cinnamon Sapling.[2]
- Once you have a tree's crop, craft extra saplings of that type yourself by combining it with any spare sapling.[2]
What changed in Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees between versions?
1 part
Pam's HarvestCraft - Trees has been in the pack for a long time. The mod list shows it was first included in All the Mods 10 2.2 or earlier, so it has been around since the early releases.[1]
Pack release changes
- All the Mods 10 2.37: the changelog lists the mod as updated from 1.0.1 to 1.0.0. That is a step back to a lower version number, not a normal upgrade.[4]
- All the Mods 10 4.0: the pack ships version 1.0.0, in the file pamhc2trees-NEOFORGE-1.21.1-1.0.0.jar.[1]
So if you're on 4.0, you have the 1.0.0 build of the mod.[1]
Unverified The reason for the 2.37 change from 1.0.1 to 1.0.0 is not stated in the pack changelog. The mod's own changelogs for the shipped jars aren't available either, so what differs between the two versions is unverified.
