What is Productive Farming?
Productive Farming is part of the pack's mod list. This pack ships version 1.21.1-0.1.0 of the mod, and it has been included since All the Mods 10: To the Sky 1.0 or earlier.[1]
The one place the sources show it in the progression is the Food and Farming quest chapter. One quest there (ID a quest in "?") asks you to hand in flax seeds. It accepts several mods' versions, and Flax Seeds from this mod is one of them. Seeds from other mods that add flax count too, so you can pick whichever is easiest to get. The quest unlocks after another quest in the same chapter.[2]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what Productive Farming does in general, who it is best for, or its recipes and config options, so I'm not guessing about them. There is also no source placing this mod on the ATM Star path.
How do you get started with Productive Farming?
4 parts
Productive Farming adds a big set of crops, and the first steps in this pack are simple: get your first seeds, try a melon, and learn the crate recipes. The sources here don't give a fixed progression order for the mod, so this section sticks to what the pack's files confirm.[2][3]
First: get flax seeds
The quest a quest in "?" in the food_and_farming chapter asks you to obtain flax seeds. It follows another quest in the same chapter. Flax seeds from several mods are accepted, and Flax Seeds from this mod is one of them, so you aren't locked into a single source.[2]
If you get a Flax Seeds Bag, you can turn it into loose seeds with a shapeless crafting recipe.[3]

Next: cut your first melon
If you find a Cantaloupe Slice, the pack has a recipe for a whole Cantaloupe and another for Cantaloupe Seeds. Both are shown below.[3]

Then: learn the crate recipes
The mod has crate recipes for its crops, such as the Cantaloupe Crate, with a recipe to pack the crop and another to unpack it. Both are shown below. Vanilla crops get crate recipes too, giving you the Carrot Crate and the Beetroot Crate.[3]

A fun extra: the corn cob pipe
Once you have corn, the Corn Cob Pipe is a shaped crafting recipe that takes a corn item and a wooden rod.[3]

How does Productive Farming work?
4 parts
The sources for this pack cover a few hands-on mechanics of Productive Farming: manual pollination, crates for storing crops, and some small crafting recipes. They do not describe machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or automation for this mod, so this section stays short.[3][4]
Manual pollination
The mod's in-game description for pollen says you use it on a fully grown crop to pollinate it by hand. So wait until the crop has finished growing before you apply it.[4]
Crates for storing crops
Many crops have a matching crate item, such as the Agave Crate, the Artichoke Crate and the Blackberry Crate. For these, a shaped recipe packs the crop into its crate and a shapeless recipe unpacks it again. Beetroot has a crate recipe too, the Beetroot Crate.[3]
Here is the packing and unpacking pair for Agave. The other crops in the pack's recipe dump follow the same pattern.[3]

Cantaloupe and the Corn Cob Pipe
The Cantaloupe Slice is turned into both a Cantaloupe and Cantaloupe Seeds with shapeless crafting recipes. Both are shown below.[3]

Tooltips
Hold Shift on a crop item to see more information. Many crops show their Latin botanical name in the tooltip. The Artichoke, for example, shows Cynara cardunculus var. scolymus. The Quinoa entry in the mod's language file only says its taxonomy is missing.[4]
Unverified Config options for this mod are not shown in the sources here, because no config files for Productive Farming were found in the pack.
How do you progress through Productive Farming?
4 parts
Productive Farming doesn't have a tiered progression in this pack, at least not one I can confirm from the pack's files. The mod isn't on the main quest path, and the only quest that touches it is a small one in the food and farming chapter. Here's what the pack data does show.[2]
The quest
Quest a quest in "?" sits in the food and farming chapter and unlocks after another quest in that chapter. Its task is to hold flax seeds. Flax Seeds count, and so do the flax seeds from several other mods, so you don't need this mod's version to complete it.[2]
Seed bags
The pack has a recipe that turns a Flax Seeds Bag back into Flax Seeds. That's the quickest way to get the quest item from this mod.[3]
Melons and pipes
A Cantaloupe Slice can be crafted into a whole Cantaloupe or into Cantaloupe Seeds. Both recipes are shapeless.[3]
The Corn Cob Pipe is a shaped recipe that uses any corn and any wooden rod.[3]

Crates
Most crops in the pack have a crate recipe, and the ones I can see also have a shapeless unpack recipe that turns the crate back into the crop. Agave is a good example, with Agave going into an Agave Crate and back out again.[3]
Unverified No tier breakdown, growth stages, or required order for crops is confirmed in the pack's quests or recipes. Part of the recipe list wasn't available to check, so there may be other recipes for this mod that aren't covered here.
Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Productive Farming?
1 part
Productive Farming only shows up in one quest chapter in this pack: food_and_farming. It's a small footprint, so there isn't a long questline to follow here.[2]
Food and Farming chapter
The quest a quest in "?" has no title in the pack. It's a simple item-submission quest where you hand in flax seeds. Flax Seeds from this mod count for it.[2]
The quest isn't picky about where the seeds come from. The task accepts flax seeds from several other mods too, plus Immersive Engineering's seed item. If you already have one of those, it works just as well.[2]
As for order, this quest comes after another quest in the same chapter, so you need to finish that one first before it becomes available.[2]
Unverified The quest's rewards and the title and details of the quest that unlocks it aren't shown in the available data, so they are unverified here.
