What is LogisticsNetwork?
3 parts
Logistics Network is a wireless automation mod. Instead of running pipes or cables, you attach a small node to a block that holds items, fluids or energy, and the node moves resources to other nodes. The pack ships version 1.1.0.[1][2]
There is no real block to build around, so your setups can be completely hidden or even suspended in mid-air. If you like clean, compact bases, this mod is for you.[1]
How it works
A node can only go on a block that exposes at least one storage capability, and each block can hold only one node. Nodes only trade with other nodes in the same network, and a node with no network transfers nothing. You pick or create the network in the node screen, which you open with the wrench.[3][4][5]
Each node has 9 channels, numbered 0 to 8. A transfer happens when an Export channel on one node meets an Import channel with the same channel number and the same resource type on another node. That means one node can run up to 9 separate jobs at once.[3][6]
What it can move
Channels can carry items, fluids and energy. They can also carry Mekanism chemicals if the node has the Mekanism Chemical Upgrade, and Ars Nouveau Source if it has the Ars Source Upgrade.[1][6][7]
Each node has 4 shared upgrade slots. Speed upgrades come in Iron, Gold, Diamond and Netherite tiers, and the highest tier on the node sets its limits. A Dimensional Upgrade allows cross-dimension transfer, but both nodes need it. The tier limits come from a config file at config/logistics-network/upgrades.json. The in-game guide lists the defaults, and the pack may change them.[7]
For finer control you can add filters to each channel, such as item, mod, name, tag, amount, durability and slot filters. The wrench can copy and paste node setups, and its Mass Placement mode lets you place many nodes in one action.[5][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]
Where it fits in the pack
Unverified Progression: the sources do not show this mod on the ATM Star path, and no quests in this pack involve it. Treat it as an optional automation tool you can pick up whenever you want wireless logistics.
How do you get started with LogisticsNetwork?
5 parts
Logistics Network is a wireless logistics mod. There's no cable or pipe to lay: you stick a node on the blocks you want to move things from and to, and it just works. Here's the order I'd go in.[1]
Step one: craft the Wrench
Start with the Wrench. It's how you open a node's settings, and later it also copies setups and places many nodes at once. The recipes for this mod's items are changed by the pack, so check the one below rather than relying on what you remember from other packs.[5][17]

Step two: craft a Logistics Node
The Logistics Node is the core of the mod. A transfer runs between nodes, so you'll want one on the block where items come from and one on the block where they go.[3][6][17]

| any redstone storage block | ||

Step three: set up your first transfer
- Place a node on a block. It can't go on air, and the block has to expose at least one storage capability. Only one node fits on each block.[3]
- Right click the node with the wrench in Wrench mode to open its settings. You switch the wrench's mode by holding Shift and scrolling the mouse wheel.[4][5]
- Create a new network name, or pick an existing network. Do the same on your second node and choose the same network.[4]
- On a fresh node, channel 0 is already enabled and the rest start disabled. Set the source node's channel to Export mode and the target node's channel to Import mode.[3][6][18]
- Make sure both channels use the same channel index and the same resource type, such as Item or Fluid. If either one differs, nothing moves.[6]
Step four: add upgrades when you need more speed
Each node has 4 upgrade slots, shared by the whole node rather than per channel. The highest speed tier installed on the node sets its limits. The guide lists default limits from the mod's upgrades.json: with no upgrade, a minimum delay of 20 ticks and 8 items per operation, and with an Iron Upgrade, a minimum delay of 10 and 16 items. Those values can be changed in config/logistics-network/upgrades.json.[7][18]

The higher tiers are Gold Upgrade, Diamond Upgrade and Netherite Upgrade. The Dimensional Upgrade allows cross-dimension transfers, but both nodes need it.[7][17]
Step five: add filters when you need control
Once items are flowing, start with the Filter. It holds 9 entries, each set to an item, fluid or chemical, and in this pack it's an ingredient in the medium filter and in the amount, durability, mod, name, NBT, slot and tag filters.[9][17]
Filters are checked on both ends of a transfer: the export channel on the source node and the import channel on the target node. Each channel has a 3 by 3 filter grid.[8][18]
How does LogisticsNetwork work?
8 parts
Logistics Network is completely wireless. You attach a Logistics Node to a block that has storage, set it up, and it moves resources to other nodes in the same network. Here is how every part of that works.[1][3]
Networks
A network is just a group of nodes, and transfers only happen inside one network. A node with no network does not transfer anything.[4]
- Place a node.[4]
- Open it with the Wrench in Wrench mode.[4]
- Create a new network name, or pick an existing one from the list.[4][18]
The node stores the network id and name, and empty networks are deleted automatically.[4]
Nodes
The node attaches to an existing block rather than being a block itself. It has a few placement rules.[3]
- You cannot place it on air or on blacklisted blocks.[3]
- The block must expose at least one storage capability.[3]
- Only one node can be attached to one block.[3]
Each node has 9 channels, 9 filter slots per channel and 4 upgrade slots shared by the whole node. Channel 0 starts enabled on a fresh node and the rest start disabled. If you break the attached block, the node is removed and its filters and upgrades drop.[3][18]

The pack changed this recipe, so use this one rather than what you remember from the mod's defaults.
Channels
Channels do the actual work, so each node can run 9 different transfers at once. A transfer path needs all of the following:[1][6]
- A source node channel set to Export mode.[6]
- A target node channel with the same channel index.[6]
- That target channel set to Import mode.[6]
- The same resource type on both channels.[6]
The resource types are Item, Fluid, Energy, Chemical and Source. Chemical can only be selected when Mekanism is loaded and the node has the Mekanism Chemical Upgrade. Source can only be selected when Ars Nouveau is loaded and the node has the Ars Source Upgrade.[6]
Redstone and distribution
Export channels use the redstone mode directly. Always On runs without redstone, Always Off never runs, High Signal runs only when the signal is greater than 0, and Low Signal runs only when the signal is 0. Import channels are cached only when the redstone mode is Always On.[6]
Distribution applies on Export channels and decides which target is tried first.[6]
- Priority: targets with a higher priority value are tried first.[6]
- Nearest First: the closest target node is tried first.[6]
- Farthest First: the farthest target node is tried first.[6]
- Round Robin: targets are rotated after each successful transfer.[6]
Node screen settings
Each channel tab has rows for Status, Mode, Type, Side, Redstone, Distribution, Priority, Batch and Delay. Side picks which side of the block is used for extraction or insertion, Batch is the max amount per operation, and Delay is the number of ticks between runs.[18]
- Priority is clamped from minus 99 to plus 99.[18]
- Batch is clamped to the cap of your current upgrade tier, and Delay has a minimum that also comes from the upgrade tier.[18]
- The Energy type forces the delay to 1 tick.[18]
- In Import mode the Distribution, Batch and Delay rows are disabled in the UI.[18]
Upgrades
Upgrade slots are shared by the whole node, not per channel. The highest speed tier installed on the node sets your caps. These are the default limits from the mod's upgrades.json:[7][18]
- No upgrade: min delay 20, item 8, fluid 500, energy 2,000, chemical 500, source 500.[7]
- Iron Upgrade: min delay 10, item 16, fluid 1,000, energy 10,000, chemical 1,000, source 1,000.[7]
- Gold Upgrade: min delay 5, item 32, fluid 5,000, energy 50,000, chemical 5,000, source 5,000.[7]
- Diamond Upgrade: min delay 1, item 64, fluid 20,000, energy 250,000, chemical 20,000, source 20,000.[7]
- Netherite Upgrade: min delay 1, item 10,000, fluid 1,000,000, energy unlimited, chemical 1,000,000, source 1,000,000.[7]
Unverified These are the mod's default tier limits. They can be changed in config/logistics-network/upgrades.json, and the sources here do not show that file, so whether this pack changes any of the values is unverified.
The Dimensional Upgrade allows cross-dimension transfers, but both nodes need it. The Chemical and Source upgrades only unlock their channel types, as described above.[7][19]

The pack changed the upgrade recipes. The Gold, Diamond and Netherite upgrades use the same pattern with a different material, and the Chemical and Source upgrades build on the Iron Upgrade.
Filters
Each channel has a 3 by 3 filter grid. Filters are read from both ends of a transfer: the Export channel's filters on the source node and the Import channel's filters on the target node. The filter mode button toggles Any (one whitelist match is enough) or All (every whitelist filter must match). A blacklist hit always blocks.[6][8][18]
- Filter, Medium Filter and Big Filter hold 9, 18 and 27 entries. Each entry stores an item, fluid or chemical, and duplicates are blocked.[9]
- Amount Filter sets a threshold, 64 by default. On Export it keeps that much stock in the source, and on Import it caps stock in the destination. With several on one channel, Export uses the highest threshold and Import the lowest. The transfer code applies it to items and fluids only.[13]
- Durability Filter compares remaining durability (max damage minus current damage) using less or equal, equal or greater or equal, with a value from 0 to 3000. It only affects item matching, and its blacklist toggle does not invert the result.[14]
- Slot Filter limits inventory slots, from 0 to 53, with input like 0,1,4-9. Whitelist allows only the listed slots and blacklist blocks them. It applies to extraction on the source and insertion on the target, and only for item transfers.[15]
- Mod Filter checks the namespace, such as minecraft or mekanism.[10]
- Regex Filter does lowercase contains matching on display names, so stone matches any name containing stone.[11]
- Tag Filter stores one tag, which you can type or pick with the extractor slot. Chemical tag checks are only used when Mekanism is present.[12]
- NBT Filter stores one path and an exact value picked from an item or fluid container. Matching works for items and fluids, and there is no chemical NBT matching right now.[20]
The pack changed the recipes for the filters too. Every filter besides the Small Filter is made from a Small Filter plus other items, so craft that first.[17]

The wrench
The wrench has three modes: Wrench, Copy Paste and Mass Placement. Hold Shift and scroll the mouse wheel to switch, in either the main hand or the off hand.[5]
- Wrench mode: right click a node to open its config. Shift right click removes it and drops the node item, all filters and all installed upgrades.[5]
- Copy Paste mode: right click a node to copy its setup, and Shift right click a node to paste it. Ctrl plus right click pastes to all connected nodes on connected blocks of the same type, but only to blocks that already have a node. A paste applies channel settings, upgrades and filter setup.[5]
- Mass Placement mode: right click blocks to select them (shown with an orange outline) and Ctrl plus right click to toggle connected blocks of the same type. Right click air to open the screen, which lists the required nodes, upgrades and filters, then press Place Nodes. If the wrench holds a copied config, it is auto pasted onto every placed node.[5]

This is the pack's recipe for the wrench.
Unverified Whether a broken node drops its node item depends on a dropNodeItem option in the mod's config. The sources here do not include a config file for this mod, so the pack's value for it is unverified.
How do you progress through LogisticsNetwork?
4 parts
Unverified No quest in this pack is confirmed to involve this mod, and it is not confirmed as part of the main quest path. Progression here isn't quest-guided. The order below follows the in-pack recipes and the upgrade tiers.
Every recipe for this mod is flagged as changed by the pack, so use the recipe blocks below rather than any recipe you remember from the mod's defaults.[17]
Step 1: Get a node and a wrench
Everything starts with the Logistics Node. It attaches to a block that exposes at least one storage capability, and only one node can be attached to a block. A fresh node has 9 channels, 9 filter slots per channel and 4 shared upgrade slots. Only channel 0 starts enabled.[3]

The Wrench is how you open a node's config and pick its network. A node with no network transfers nothing, so set that up first.[4][5]

Step 2: Climb the speed tiers
The four metal upgrades are the core progression. A node has 4 upgrade slots, and the highest speed tier installed on that node sets its caps. Upgrade slots are shared by the whole node, not per channel.[7][18]
These are the default tier limits listed in the mod's in-game guide. The pack's own upgrades.json may differ, since the mod lets you change these values by config. I can't confirm from the sources whether the pack changed any of them. Min delay is in ticks.[7][18]
- No upgrade: min delay 20, item 8, fluid 500, energy 2,000, chemical 500, source 500.[7]
- Iron Upgrade: min delay 10, item 16, fluid 1,000, energy 10,000, chemical 1,000, source 1,000.[7]
- Gold Upgrade: min delay 5, item 32, fluid 5,000, energy 50,000, chemical 5,000, source 5,000.[7]
- Diamond Upgrade: min delay 1, item 64, fluid 20,000, energy 250,000, chemical 20,000, source 20,000.[7]
- Netherite Upgrade: min delay 1, item 10,000, fluid 1,000,000, energy unlimited, chemical 1,000,000, source 1,000,000.[7]
A channel's batch is clamped to the current tier cap, and its delay can't go below the tier minimum. Energy channels always force the delay to 1 tick.[18]

Step 3: Special upgrades
The Dimensional Upgrade allows cross-dimension transfers, but both nodes need it.[7]

The Mekanism Chemical Upgrade unlocks the Chemical channel type on that node when Mekanism is loaded. The Ars Source Upgrade does the same for the Source channel type when Ars Nouveau is loaded. Without the matching upgrade on the node, you can't select those channel types.[6][7]

Step 4: Filters
The general slot-based filters come in three sizes: Filter with 9 entries, Medium Filter with 18 and Big Filter with 27. Each entry can hold an item, a fluid or a chemical.[9]
The specialised filters each have their own in-pack recipe. They cover different jobs:[17]
- Amount Filter sets a threshold, 64 by default. It keeps stock in the source on export and caps stock in the destination on import.[13]
- Durability Filter checks remaining durability against a value from 0 to 3000.[14]
- Slot Filter limits which inventory slots (0 to 53) are used, and works for item transfer only.[15]
- Mod Filter matches by namespace, and Regex Filter matches by a lowercase contains check on display names.[10][11]
- Tag Filter stores one tag value, and NBT Filter stores one path with an exact value.[12][20]
How does LogisticsNetwork work with other mods?
2 parts
LogisticsNetwork connects to two other mods in this pack: Mekanism and Ars Nouveau. Each link is an upgrade item that unlocks a new resource type on your nodes, and the pack changed the recipe for both upgrades.[6][17]
Mekanism: chemical transfer
The Mekanism Chemical Upgrade lets a node move Mekanism chemicals. You can only select the Chemical resource type on a channel when Mekanism is loaded and that node has this upgrade.[6][17]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: logisticsnetworks:mekanism_chemical_upgrade
The pack changed this recipe, so this is the in-pack version.
Once a channel is set to Chemical, it follows the usual rules: the export and import channels need the same channel index and the same resource type.[6]
Chemical channels do read filters. The slot-based item filters can store chemical entries, which match by exact chemical id. The Mod Filter, Name Filter and Tag Filter can also target chemicals. Name matching uses Mekanism text when it is available and falls back to the chemical id text, and chemical tag checks only apply when Mekanism is present.[6][9][10][11][12]
Ars Nouveau: Source transfer
The Ars Source Upgrade adds the Source resource type, which works with Ars Nouveau. As with chemicals, you can only pick Source on a channel when Ars Nouveau is loaded and the node has this upgrade.[6][17]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: logisticsnetworks:ars_source_upgrade
The pack changed this recipe too, so this is the in-pack version.
Upgrade slots are shared by the whole node, not set per channel, so keep that in mind when you decide which upgrades a node carries.[18]
