What is KleeSlabs?

This pack ships KleeSlabs version 21.1.9, built for NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.1 (the file is kleeslabs-neoforge-1.21.1-21.1.9.jar).[1]

KleeSlabs has been in the pack for a long time. It was first included in version 1.0 or earlier, so it's a long-standing part of the mod list rather than a recent addition.[1]

Unverified The sources I have don't describe what KleeSlabs does in detail, who it suits best, or how it fits into progression, so I'm not making claims about those. No platform page or in-mod guidebook was available to confirm them.

Unverified I found no information linking KleeSlabs to the ATM Star path or to any quests in this pack, so I can't point you to a quest or a progression stage for it.

How do you get started with KleeSlabs?

1 part

There's nothing to craft first with KleeSlabs. The sources I have for this pack show no recipes for the mod and no quests that involve it, so there's no crafting order to follow and no recipe block to show.[2]

The first thing worth doing is deciding when the mod should kick in. Its mode setting controls whether KleeSlabs triggers ALWAYS, ONLY_WHEN_SNEAKING or ONLY_WHEN_NOT_SNEAKING.[2]

Settings worth knowing

  • mode: picks when KleeSlabs triggers. The options are ALWAYS, ONLY_WHEN_SNEAKING and ONLY_WHEN_NOT_SNEAKING.[2]
  • disabledCompat: a list of mod IDs whose compatibility with KleeSlabs should be disabled.[2]
  • dumpSlabs: a development option. Set it to true and KleeSlabs dumps a list of items with 'slab' in their name when a world loads. You won't need it for normal play.[2]

Unverified The default value of each setting in this pack, the config file they live in, and whether the pack changes any of them are not confirmed by the sources I have. Check the config file in your own instance before relying on a specific value.

How does KleeSlabs work?

1 part

The only material the sources give for KleeSlabs is the tooltip text for its settings. So this section covers what you can configure, not machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item handling.[2]

What you can configure

  • The mode option controls whether KleeSlabs triggers ALWAYS, ONLY_WHEN_SNEAKING or ONLY_WHEN_NOT_SNEAKING.[2]
  • The disabledCompat option takes IDs of mods whose compatibility with KleeSlabs should be disabled.[2]
  • The dumpSlabs option is for development purposes. When it is set to true, KleeSlabs dumps a list of items containing the word 'slab' in their name upon world load.[2]
Tip: The mode option ties KleeSlabs to whether you are sneaking. Its values are ALWAYS, ONLY_WHEN_SNEAKING and ONLY_WHEN_NOT_SNEAKING.[2]

Unverified The sources here do not show which config file holds these options, or the values this pack sets for them. Check the mod's config in the pack itself for the actual settings.
