What is KleeSlabs?

KleeSlabs is part of this pack's mod list. The pack ships version 21.1.11, in the file kleeslabs-neoforge-1.21.1-21.1.11.jar, and the mod has been included since the pack's 1.0 release or earlier.[1]

Unverified The sources here do not show KleeSlabs in any quest chapter or group, and they do not show it on the ATM Star path. This guide therefore cannot say what comes before or after it in the quest book.

Unverified The sources here do not describe what KleeSlabs adds or changes in this pack, and no in-jar guidebook was found for it. Any items, recipes or configs for the mod are not covered in this guide.

How do you get started with KleeSlabs?

1 part

Same as in the All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.0.4 guide

Here's the good news: KleeSlabs doesn't ask you to craft anything to get started. In this pack there are no recipes that produce its items and no quests that involve it, so there's no first item to build and nothing to unlock. The only things the sources describe are its settings.[2]

The settings worth knowing

  • Mode: this option controls whether KleeSlabs triggers ALWAYS, ONLY_WHEN_SNEAKING or ONLY_WHEN_NOT_SNEAKING. If the mod seems to act at the wrong moment, this is the first thing to check.[2]
  • Disabled compat: a list of mod IDs whose compatibility with KleeSlabs should be turned off. Use it if KleeSlabs clashes with slabs from another mod.[2]
  • Dump slabs: a development option. When set to true, KleeSlabs dumps a list of items with 'slab' in their name when you load a world. You can leave it off for normal play.[2]

Unverified The sources don't say which config file holds these options, what their default values are, or exactly what KleeSlabs does in-game when it triggers, so check the config in your own instance before changing anything.

How does KleeSlabs work?

3 parts

The sources for KleeSlabs describe no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item handling, so there is nothing of that kind to learn here. What they do show is a few settings and a block tag, so this section is short.[2][3]

Settings

The mod's settings screen text describes these options. The mode option controls whether KleeSlabs triggers ALWAYS, ONLY_WHEN_SNEAKING or ONLY_WHEN_NOT_SNEAKING, so the mod's behaviour depends on whether you are sneaking.[2]

  • mode: controls whether KleeSlabs triggers ALWAYS, ONLY_WHEN_SNEAKING or ONLY_WHEN_NOT_SNEAKING.[2]
  • disabledCompat: a list of IDs of mods whose compatibility should be disabled.[2]
  • dumpSlabs: meant for development. Set it to true and KleeSlabs dumps a list of items with the word 'slab' in their name when a world loads.[2]

The slab tag

The mod ships a block tag called kleeslabs:slabs. It contains the whole minecraft:slabs tag and nothing else, so it covers every block that is tagged as a vanilla slab.[3]

What is not confirmed

Unverified The sources here include no config files for KleeSlabs in this pack, so the default and current values of mode, disabledCompat and dumpSlabs are unverified.

How do you progress through KleeSlabs?

There isn't a tier ladder to climb with KleeSlabs in this pack, so this section is short on purpose. I'd rather tell you that than invent a progression path for you.[3]

The one thing the mod's own data confirms is that its slab block tag, kleeslabs:slabs, simply points at the vanilla minecraft:slabs tag. Anything that counts as a regular slab in vanilla is covered by that tag, and the mod doesn't add its own separate slab grouping on top.[3]

Unverified Crafting recipes, tiers, and any quest-book steps for KleeSlabs could not be confirmed from the available data, so none are described here.

"From pack files" means the list came from the pack's own files; "from the published release" means ForgeBase read the jars of the release itself.

Items and blocks

We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as kleeslabs, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
