What is Configured?

Configured is part of this pack as version 2.6.3 (the NeoForge 1.21.1 build), and it has been in the pack since 1.0 or earlier.[1]

Unverified What Configured does in this pack is unverified. The sources I have include no mod description and no in-jar guidebook for it, so I won't guess at its features.

Quest book placement: none of the quests I can see in the Create chapter's ATM Star path list or in the RailCraft chapter mention Configured, so I can't point you to a chapter, group or neighbouring quests for it, and I can't say whether the ATM Star path uses it. Some other chapters not shown to me may mention the mod, so check the quest book itself for those.[2][3]

How do you get started with Configured?

1 part

Good news: Configured doesn't ask you to craft anything to get started. It is a configuration menu, and the in-game screens it builds are generated dynamically from the settings other mods expose.[4]

What to know first

  • Server-based configs are unique for every world. A change you make only applies to the world you selected, so don't expect it to carry over to your other saves.[4]
  • Some options are limited to a range. When a value has one, the menu tells you it must be between a minimum and a maximum, both inclusive, so you know what the setting accepts.[4]
  • The info button in the menu opens the CurseForge page for the mod, which is handy if you want to see what the mod itself says.[4]
Tip: If you tweak a server-based setting and it seems to do nothing, check which world you have selected. Those changes only apply to that world.[4]

Unverified No recipes or quests for Configured were found in this pack's data, so there is no first item to craft and no quest to follow for this mod. Anything beyond the menu behavior above is unconfirmed.

How does Configured work?

1 part

Configured doesn't look like a mod with machines, multiblocks or power to learn. The only material available for it in this pack is its interface text, which shows it generates in-game configuration menus.[4]

What the menus tell you

  • The config menu is generated dynamically by Configured, and the info button in it opens the mod's CurseForge page.[4]
  • Server-based configurations are unique for every world. Any change you make is applied only to the world you selected, not to your other worlds.[4]
  • Numeric options are validated. If a value is out of range, the menu hints that it must be between the stated minimum and maximum, both inclusive.[4]
Tip: If you change a server-based setting, check that you picked the right world first, because the change won't carry over to your other worlds.[4]

Unverified This pack ships no config files for Configured, no in-jar guidebook and no recipes for its items, so nothing about specific options, defaults or pack-specific changes can be confirmed here.

How do you progress through Configured?

I can't lay out a tier-by-tier path for this mod, because the quest chapters I have in front of me don't cover it. Where the RailCraft, Applied Energistics 2 and Create (ATM Star path) quests name a specific item as a task, it is always an item from railcraft, ae2, create or minecraft, never one from this mod. So none of those quests gives this mod a place in the pack's progression.[2][3][5]

Those chapters do have clear progressions of their own, and they are written for those mods, not this one. If you're following the quest book, work through them in their own order.[2][3][5]

Unverified Several quest chapters were not included in full for this guide (for example Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, Just Dire Things, Basic Logistics, and 24 quests of the Applied Energistics 2 chapter), and the sources here do not show whether any of them mention this mod. If it appears in a progression, it is told in those quest book chapters, so check the quest book in game.

Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Configured?

The quest text available for this mod is thin, so I can't give you a reliable chapter-by-chapter route. In the quests I can read, none asks you to craft or hand in an item from this mod. Their tasks are items from other mods, such as Pipez, Mekanism, LaserIO and Integrated Dynamics in the logistics chapter.[2][3][5][6]

The Basic Logistics chapter has 41 quests, and the text of 32 of them is not included here. You'll find those in the quest book itself.[6]

Unverified Other chapters in the quest book also mention this mod: Mekanism, Just Dire Things, Immersive Engineering, Create, Mekanism: Reactors, Chapter 1: Starting out and Chapter 2: The Cool Parts. Their quest text isn't included here, so what they ask for and in what order is unverified. Open those chapters in the quest book to see it.

Items and blocks

We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as configured, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
