What is Baubley Heart Canisters?
4 parts
Baubley Heart Canisters brings back the old Tinkers' Construct heart canisters, reimagined as Baubles/Curios. You collect hearts, turn them into canisters, and wear them to raise your max health. The pack includes version 1.21.1-1.4.1 of the mod. Curios is required, and Mantle is optional but recommended.[1][2]
Who it is for
If you want a steady health boost that grows as you beat tougher enemies, this mod is for you. It also suits you if you like gear that scales with your progress, such as the Vitality Blade and the Soul Amulet.[1][3]
The heart tiers
- Miniature Red Heart: drops from hostile mobs. The quest book says almost every hostile mob drops one, and calls it an early-game health boost.[1][3]
- Miniature Yellow Heart: drops from boss mobs such as the Wither.[1][3]
- Miniature Green Heart: drops from the Ender Dragon.[1][3]
- Miniature Blue Heart: drops from Wardens in this version.[1][3]
The mod page says all of these drops are configurable. It also says each tier can be crafted from the previous ones, so check JEI for the exact recipes. I can't confirm from the sources whether the pack changed any drop settings.[1]
Wearing them
The Heart Amulet holds all Heart Canisters in one slot. The Soul Amulet works the same way but can also hold the Soul Heart Canister. That canister acts like a Totem of Undying that heals you to max health, then reverts to a Blue Heart Canister once it is used.[1]
The Vitality Blade gains attack damage from your Heart Canisters, with each canister adding 2. Both it and the amulet need the Soul Heart Crystal.[1]
Where it fits in the pack's progression
The pack has a dedicated quest chapter for this mod. It starts with the Miniature Red Heart (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters") and the base Canister (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"). From there you melt red hearts for the yellow tier ("Melted Red Hearts" quest), then move on to green and blue hearts.[3]
The Soul Heart Crystal quest (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters") unlocks only after you have covered the red, yellow, green and blue hearts. It then leads to the Vitality Blade, the Vigor Bow and the Soul Amulet.[3]
The Relic Apple also shows up in the Food and Farming chapter (a quest in "Food and Farming"), alongside apples from another mod.[4]
How do you get started with Baubley Heart Canisters?
6 parts
Welcome to the heart canisters! This mod adds health boosts that you wear as Curios-style accessories. In this pack there's a whole quest chapter for it, and following that chapter is the easiest way to learn the progression.[1][3]
Step 1: Farm Red Hearts
Everything starts with the Miniature Red Heart. Almost every hostile mob drops one, and the quest for it recommends using them for an early-game health boost. Don't eat it! The mod's drop sources are configurable, so a drop might behave differently if someone has edited the config.[1][3]
Step 2: Make the Canister
The Canister is the base for all boosting, according to its quest (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"). Every colored heart canister quest in the chapter branches off from it, so make this early.[3]

Step 3: Prepare for your first Red Heart Canister
The chapter also has quests for the Relic Apple and the Wither Bone. Both are crafting items. The Red Heart Canister recipe uses them along with your Canister and a Red Heart, so it's worth making them before you craft it. The Relic Apple can also be eaten for a temporary buff.[1][3][5]

What to do next
- Try the Red Health Patch (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"). It's the first step of the patch line in the quest chapter.[3]
- Melt hearts down with "Melted Red Hearts" quest. Melted Red Hearts can be combined with any heart "cast" to make a yellow one, which is how you start on the next tier.[3]
- Yellow Hearts drop from boss mobs such as the Wither. Green Hearts drop from the Ender Dragon, and Blue Hearts drop from Wardens. Each tier can also be crafted from the previous tier.[1]
How does Baubley Heart Canisters work?
6 parts
Same as in the All the Mons 1.0.0-rc.7 guide
Quick heads up: this mod has no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item pipes to automate. Nothing here needs wiring up. It works through equipment slots instead: you collect hearts, craft them into canisters, and wear them in a Curios slot (the mod's page lists Curios as required).[1]
Where hearts come from
The mod's page says each heart colour has its own source: red hearts drop from hostile mobs, yellow from boss mobs such as the Wither, green from the Ender Dragon, and blue from Wardens on 1.19 and later. It also says all drops are configurable.[1]
Unverified The drop settings this pack actually uses are unconfirmed. No config file for this mod was available.
You can also craft your way up. Each tier can be made from the previous tiers, and the page recommends checking JEI for the recipes. The recipes below are the ones the pack uses.[1]
Melting and converting hearts
Melted hearts are an intermediate form. You smelt a Miniature Blue Heart to get a Melted Blue Heart, and the green heart works the same way. Melted hearts can also be converted between colours.[7]

The Soul Amulet works like the Heart Amulet but can also hold a Soul Heart Canister. It is the only place that canister can be used. How do you progress through Baubley Heart Canisters?
5 parts
The heart progression runs through five tiers: red, yellow, green, blue and finally soul. The Baubley Heart Canisters quest chapter walks you through it, and every step is backed by a recipe from the pack. I'll go tier by tier.[3][5]
Hearts: red to blue
You start with the Miniature Red Heart (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"). Almost every hostile mob drops one, and it's meant as an early-game health boost. The quest is titled "Don't eat it!"[3]
To go up a tier you melt hearts down. Smelting a miniature heart gives you its melted version, and the melted hearts can be converted into the neighboring tier: red and yellow, yellow and green, and green and blue, in both directions. The "Melted Red Hearts" quest quest says you can melt red hearts and combine them with any heart "cast" to make a yellow one.[3][5]
The quest order follows that: Miniature Yellow Heart comes after the melted red heart (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"), Miniature Green Heart comes after the melted yellow heart (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"), and Miniature Blue Heart comes after the melted green heart (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"). The recipes for each are below.[3]

Canisters
The base for boosting is the Canister (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"). The red, yellow, green and blue canister quests all unlock after it. The Soul Heart Canister quest unlocks after the blue canister quest.[3]

After that, each canister upgrades the one before it. The Yellow Heart Canister builds on the red one, the Green Heart Canister on the yellow one, and the Blue Heart Canister on the green one. The Soul Heart Canister is a smithing upgrade of the blue canister.[5]

Health patches
The patches are a separate, healing-focused line. The quest chain goes Red Health Patch (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"), then Yellow Health Patch (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"), then Green Health Patch (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"), then Blue Health Patch (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"). The quest says the blue patch is enough to full-heal an entire health bar per use.[3]
Each patch is crafted from the miniature heart of its own tier. The red one shows the pattern.[5]

Heartpulse belts
The Red Heartpulse Belt is crafted from a red canister. The yellow, green and blue belts are smithing upgrades of the previous belt, and each also uses canisters. The quests in this chapter don't cover the belts, so you'll need to follow the recipes yourself.[3][5]

Endgame: the Soul Heart Crystal
The Soul Heart Crystal quest (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters") unlocks once you've finished the red, yellow, green and blue heart quests. The recipe uses one miniature heart of each of those four tiers.[3][5]

Three quests open up after the crystal: the Soul Amulet (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"), the Vitality Blade (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters") and the Vigor Bow (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"). The Soul Amulet combines a Heart Amulet with the crystal. The blade and the bow each need both the Soul Amulet and the crystal.[3][5]

Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Baubley Heart Canisters?
6 parts
This mod has its own quest chapter, Baubley Heart Canisters, plus one extra quest in Food and Farming. Every quest in the chapter asks you to hold a single mod item, and the chapter is a branching tree rather than a straight line. Here's how it fits together.[3][4]
Where the chapter starts
Five quests unlock straight from the chapter itself. The first is a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters", which asks for a Miniature Red Heart. The quest notes that almost every hostile mob drops one and that they give an early-game health boost. The other four ask for a Heart Amulet (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"), a Relic Apple (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"), a Canister (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters") and a Wither Bone (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters").[3]
The heart upgrade line
- "Melted Red Hearts" quest asks for a Melted Red Heart. It unlocks after the Red Heart quest. The quest text says you can melt down red hearts and combine them with any heart "cast" to make a yellow one.[3]
- a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters" asks for a Miniature Yellow Heart, described as an upgraded version that can be used for more buffs. It needs the Melted Red Hearts quest first.[3]
- a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters" asks for a Melted Yellow Heart.[3]
- a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters" asks for a Miniature Green Heart. It is titled "Ender dragons" and described as an upgraded version that can be used for more health. It unlocks after the Melted Yellow Heart quest.[3]
- a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters" asks for a Melted Green Heart.[3]
- a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters" asks for a Miniature Blue Heart. It is titled "A cold heart" and unlocks after the Melted Green Heart quest.[3]
Canisters
The Canister quest is titled "The base for boosting". It leads to four quests: a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters" for the Red Heart Canister, a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters" for the Yellow Heart Canister, a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters" for the Green Heart Canister and a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters" for the Blue Heart Canister. After the Blue Heart Canister, a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters" asks for the Soul Heart Canister.[3]
Health patches
A second line of quests starts from the Red Heart quest and runs through the four patches in order: the Red Health Patch (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"), the Yellow Health Patch (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"), the Green Health Patch (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters") and finally the Blue Health Patch (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"). The last quest is titled "20*50 = 1000 health" and says one use is enough to full-heal an entire health bar.[3]
Soul Heart Crystal and its rewards
a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters" asks for a Soul Heart Crystal. It unlocks only after you have finished the Blue Heart, Green Heart, Red Heart and Yellow Heart quests. Once it's done, three final quests open: the Vitality Blade (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters"), the Vigor Bow (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters") and the Soul Amulet (a quest in "Baubley Heart Canisters").[3]
Outside the chapter
The Food and Farming chapter has one quest that involves this mod: a quest in "Food and Farming", titled "Crystallized apples". It accepts the Relic Apple or the Emerald or Diamond Apple from another mod. It unlocks after the "Notch" apple quest, and its text calls these apples superfoods that give a wide array of buffs, depending on the apple.[4]
What changed in Baubley Heart Canisters between versions?
1 part
The pack ships Baubley Heart Canisters 1.21.1-1.4.1, and the mod has been in All the Mods 10: To the Sky since version 1.0 or earlier. The pack changelogs have no entries for this mod, so everything below comes from the mod's own changelogs.[2]
Mod releases, newest first
- 1.4.1 (the version in this pack): fixed the loop case for other mods that revive the player, such as Immersive Engineering's Draconic module and the Undying module.[2][9]
- 1.4.0: the in-game config was enabled, and heal amounts and cooldowns for heart patches became configurable.[10]
- 1.3.1: fixed a bug where the bonemeal recipe was replaced with wither bone instead of wither bone being added as an alternative.[11]
- 1.2.3: added Russian, Ukrainian, Brazilian Portuguese, French and Korean translations, contributed by community translators.[12]
- 1.2.2: fixed a crash when the Vigor Bow was used by non-players.[13]
Since 1.4.0 made heart patch heal amounts and cooldowns configurable, the values you see in your world could differ from the mod's defaults. The sources here don't show what this pack sets them to, so check the in-game config if it matters to you.[10]
