What is Ponder for KubeJS?
3 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Ponder for KubeJS lets you create custom Ponder scenes with KubeJS. Ponder is the in-game animated tutorial system from Create, and this mod lets you write your own scenes for it with scripts instead of only seeing the ones that ship with Create.[1]
It's aimed at people who write KubeJS scripts, like pack tweakers and anyone who wants to explain a custom setup with the same Ponder screens Create uses. If you only play the pack and never touch scripts, you won't need to do anything with it.[1]
Version in this pack
The pack includes Ponder for KubeJS 1.21.1-2.4.0 (the NeoForge build, ponderjs-neoforge-1.21.1-2.4.0.jar). It has been part of the pack since version 4.1 or earlier.[2]
Background
This mod is a continuation of the original PonderJS project for 1.18.2 and newer. The original was made by kotakotik22, and the Create team built the Ponder system it relies on. It uses the MIT License.[1]
If you want to start scripting scenes, the project's GitHub wiki has examples, and there's a Discord for help.[1]
Where it fits in progression
Unverified The sources don't show Ponder for KubeJS as part of the ATM Star path, and no quests in this pack involve it. It's a scripting tool rather than something you unlock or progress through.
How do you get started with Ponder for KubeJS?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Good news first: there's nothing to craft to get going. Ponder for KubeJS is a scripting add-on. It lets you build your own Ponder scenes for Create using KubeJS, so your starting point is a script, not a crafting table.[1]
Ponder is the Create team's system for the animated, in-game explanations you open on items. This mod lets you write new scenes for that system, so you can explain your own setups or items from the pack.[1]
What you need to know first
- The mod is a continuation of the original PonderJS project, made for 1.18.2 and newer. If you find older tutorials for the original project, they may not match what you have here.[1]
- It builds on Create's Ponder system and works through KubeJS, so you'll be writing KubeJS scripts to define your scenes.[1]
- It uses the MIT License.[1]
Where to learn the scene scripting
The project page points you to the mod's GitHub wiki for examples and to its Discord if you need help. Start with the wiki examples and adapt them one scene at a time.[1]
Unverified I couldn't confirm any in-pack recipes, quests, items or config options for this mod, so there's no first item to craft and no pack-specific changes to point out. Treat any scene script you find online as untested until you've tried it in this pack.
How does Ponder for KubeJS work?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Ponder for KubeJS is a little different from most mods in this guide. It doesn't add machines, multiblocks, power or fluid handling that you build and automate. It's a scripting add-on that lets you create custom Ponder scenes with KubeJS.[1]
Ponder is the in-game scene system from the Create team, and this mod lets pack makers write their own scenes for it. Create provides the Ponder system, and KubeJS is what you use to write the scenes.[1]
Where it comes from
This mod continues the original PonderJS project for 1.18.2 and newer. The original project was made by kotakotik22, and older versions are still covered by that original project.[1]
Learning to script scenes
The project page points you to the GitHub wiki for examples, and to the project's Discord if you need help. That's the best place to start if you want to write your own scenes.[1]

Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as ponderjs, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
