What is Easy Villagers?
2 parts
Easy Villagers makes villagers much less annoying to deal with. The pack's quest text points out that in Vanilla, cycling trades is not easy and professions can be tough to manage, and this mod is there to make all of that easier.[1]
The pack ships Easy Villagers 1.21.1-1.1.42 for NeoForge, and it has been in the pack since 1.3.0 or earlier.[2]
What you can do with it
The core trick is simple: sneak-right click a villager to pick it up as a Villager item. You can then place it back in the world, or put it into one of the mod's own blocks.[1]
To see which blocks the mod adds, search @EasyVillagers in JEI.[1]
Who it's for
If you want to set up trading, or manage professions, without chasing villagers around, this mod is for you. The quest "Easy Villagers" quest introduces it in the "Tips and Poke Tricks" chapter, and its task is to get the villager item.[1]
Unverified The sources don't show where Easy Villagers fits in the pack's wider progression, so this guide makes no claim about when you should use it.
How do you get started with Easy Villagers?
2 parts
Easy Villagers makes villagers much less frustrating to handle, and in this pack your first step is a free one. Sneak-right click a villager to pick it up as a Villager item. You can then place it back in the world, or inside one of the mod's own blocks. The quest "Easy Villagers" quest in the Tips and Poke Tricks chapter asks you to get that item.[1]
Suggested order
- Pick up a villager by sneak-right clicking it. This gets you the Villager item and completes the Easy Villagers quest.[1]
- Craft a Trader, the first block to try with a villager you've picked up.[3]
- Craft a Breeder and an Incubator next.[3]
- Move on to the Farmer, Iron Farm and Converter once you're comfortable with the basics.[3]
- Finish with the Auto Trader. Check its recipe before you commit to it.[3]
Every block in the mod is a shaped crafting recipe, so you can make all of them at a normal crafting table. Here are the in-pack recipes for the first blocks.[3]

How does Easy Villagers work?
4 parts
Easy Villagers puts villagers to work in dedicated machine blocks. The sources for this pack are thin on the inner workings, so this section sticks to what they confirm: which machines exist, what their screens are labelled, and how you craft each one.[4]
The machines
The mod adds these blocks: Breeder, Incubator, Converter, Farmer, Iron Farm, Trader and Auto Trader. There is also an Inventory Viewer block.[4]
Villagers exist as items in this mod, in the forms Villager and Baby Villager.[4]
What the screens are labelled
The mod's language file has these screen labels: Villager Input, Villager Output, Input Items, Output Items, Output and Food Items. Villager Equipment and Villager Inventory are labelled as well, and the Inventory Viewer block has its own screen title.[4]
If you use Jade, the mod has Jade plugin entries for the Breeder, the Converter and the Villager.[4]
Controls
The mod has key bindings named Cycle Trades and Pick Up.[4]
Crafting the machines
Every machine is crafted with a shaped recipe that the pack's recipe dump lists as a mod recipe. Here is each one as the pack has it.[3]

Unverified How each machine works in detail is not shown by the sources here: breeding and growth timing, which items count as food, how the Converter and Iron Farm operate, how the Trader and Auto Trader handle trades, and whether hoppers or other pipes can automate any of them. The pack has no config files for this mod, and no in-jar guidebook was found to check.
How do you progress through Easy Villagers?
2 parts
In this pack, Easy Villagers has one quest, "Easy Villagers" quest, in the "Tips and Poke Tricks" chapter. Its task is to get a Villager, which is a villager you've picked up. You do that by sneak-right clicking a villager. You can then put it back in the world or into one of the mod's own blocks.[1]
How the progression works here
The sources don't define a formal tier ladder for this mod, and the quest book has no follow-up quests. The pack's own quest only covers picking up a villager. The mod is also not on the ATM Star quest path, so you can tackle it whenever it suits you.[1]
What the pack does confirm is that each of the mod's blocks has its own crafting recipe. They are listed below with the exact in-pack versions.[3]
Crafting the blocks
The Trader is the simplest recipe in the pack's recipe dump.[3]

Unverified The sources don't say what order to build these blocks in, what each one does in this pack, or whether any config options change the recipes. Check the in-game JEI entries before planning a build around any of them. This site does hold All the Mons's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Which All the Mons quests use Easy Villagers?
1 part
Easy Villagers only shows up in one quest in this pack, so this section is short. You'll find it in the "Tips and Poke Tricks" chapter.[1]
Tips and Poke Tricks: Easy Villagers
The quest "Easy Villagers" quest is subtitled "Villagers, made easy". Its task is to hand in a Villager.[1]
The quest text explains why the mod exists: in Vanilla, cycling trades is not easy and professions can be tough to deal with. It tells you that you can pick up a villager by sneak-right clicking them. You can then place the villager back in the world, or in specific blocks from the mod.[1]
Unverified The sources don't show where this quest sits in the chapter's order, or whether it has any prerequisites or rewards, so I can't say what comes before or after it.
