What is DimStorage?

DimStorage gives you a technologic take on the ender chest system. Storage here comes with an owner, frequency selection and a lock system, so you decide who can get at what. Besides the Dimensional Chest, the mod adds the Dimensional Tank for fluids and a Dimensional Tablet.[1]
The mod also has a configuration file, so you can tune it to how you like to play. The sources I have don't say which options it contains, so I won't guess at any values here.[1]
This pack ships DimStorage 9.1.1, the 1.21.1 build, and the mod has been part of the pack since 0.3.0-beta or earlier.[2]
Where it sits in the quest book
The quest book puts DimStorage in the "Basic Storage" chapter, which is in the "Storage" group and is chapter 30 of 70 in the book. The chapter has 89 quests and opens with "Basic Storage" quest, which says the chapter covers the basic ways to store items without needing power.[3]

Step 4: your first storage
Now you can make the Dimensional Chest. It uses a wall and a solid core, and it is the ender-chest-style storage with owner, frequency and lock settings. This recipe comes from the mod and the pack has not changed it.[1][4]

The mod's language file shows that the chest and tank screens have settings for Frequency, Owner and Locked, so look for those when you first open one.[5]
Unverified The exact behaviour of the Dimensional Tablet in this pack is unconfirmed. The mod's text mentions right-clicking to bind a DimChest and toggling autocollect on a non-DimChest block, but the sources do not say which item does what.
