What is Create: Aquatic Ambitions?
3 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Create: Aquatic Ambitions is a Create addon that adds ocean-inspired machines, processes and production lines. The idea is to use the power of a conduit to turn byproducts into useful resources and building blocks, and to make more materials renewable along the way.[1]
The pack ships version 2.0.4 of the mod, built for Minecraft 1.21.1. It has been in the pack since 4.3 or earlier.[2]
What it adds
- Conduit Channeling is a new fan processing type that uses an active conduit as the catalyst.[1]
- The Conduit Cage is a machine that grants or removes effects and makes channeling setups simpler.[1]
- Guardianless Prismarine: channeling flint has a chance to give you prismarine shards.[1]
- Fully renewable copper, now obtainable from prismarine.[1]
- Coral revival and farming: dead coral can be revived through channeling and then harvested with harvesters.[1]
- Sponge duping: channeling dry sponges gives you a chance to get extras.[1]
- Easier nautilus shells, which can be obtained from limestone.[1]
- Craftable tridents, made with spiky shells and prismarine alloy rods.[1]
The Conduit and the Conduit Cage both have Ponder scenes that explain what they can do. All recipes are also visible through JEI integration, so you can look up the exact in-pack recipe for anything above.[1]
Who it is for
This is for you if you already build with Create and want new automation options for prismarine, coral and copper. It is an addon, so it builds on Create's fans and processing. The 2.0.0 and later releases of the mod only work with Create 6.0.6 or above.[1][2]
Where it fits in the pack
Unverified The sources I have show no quests in this pack that involve this mod, no ATM Star path that includes it, and no in-jar guidebook. I also can't confirm whether the pack changes any of the mod's recipes or values, so check the recipes in JEI for what applies in this pack. This site does hold All the Mons's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you get started with Create: Aquatic Ambitions?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Create: Aquatic Ambitions is a Create addon built around the conduit. Your first goal is to get Prismarine Alloy, then turn it into a Conduit Cage, which opens up the mod's conduit channeling processing.[1][3]
Step 1: Prismarine Alloy
Prismarine Alloy is the material you need for the Conduit Cage, so it comes first. You can make it by hand in the crafting grid or in a Create mixer. The pack changed both recipes, so follow the blocks below and don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults.[3]

Step 2: Rod and storage block
Next, make a Prismarine Alloy Rod. The Conduit Cage recipe uses one, and the mod's project page also lists the rod as part of its craftable tridents. If you want compact storage, you can pack alloy into a Prismarine Alloy Block and unpack it again.[1][3]

Step 3: The Conduit Cage
The Conduit Cage is the machine at the heart of the mod. Its Ponder describes it as a more compact version of the conduit's prismarine ring.[1][4]

To use it, pump a fluid into the cage through its bottom face, which awakens it. A cage awakened with water gives the Conduit Power effect to nearby entities, and different fluids give different effects. The mode slot lets you choose which entities are affected.[4]
The cage also works for fan processing. Air passing through it creates a Channeling setup, and items caught in that stream are processed.[4]
Step 4: Get shells from limestone
Once you have a channeling setup, you can get Nautilus Shells without hunting for them. Milling Create's limestone gives Calcium Rich Powder and Suspicious Rock. Channeling the Suspicious Rock then gives a Spiky Shell and a nautilus shell.[1][3]

How does Create: Aquatic Ambitions work?
5 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
This add-on is built around one idea: a conduit becomes a new kind of fan processing catalyst. You get a new bulk process called channeling, plus a machine, the Conduit Cage, that makes those setups smaller and can also hand out effects.[1][4]
Conduit channeling
Channeling is a fan processing type that uses an active conduit as its catalyst. The mod's own Ponder says an awakened conduit can be used for fan processing. Air passing through the conduit's waters creates a Channeling Setup, and items caught in that stream get processed.[1][4]
Water depth matters. According to the Ponder, extra layers of water dilute the conduit's power, and that gives you a Washing Setup instead of a channeling one. If your channeling isn't firing, check how much water is stacked in the way.[4]
The Conduit Cage
The Conduit Cage is a more compact version of the conduit's prismarine ring. You feed it fluid through its bottom face, and pumping a fluid in awakens it.[4]

Recipe id: create_aquatic_ambitions:crafting/materials/mechanical_conduit
This is the Conduit Cage recipe as it exists in the pack.
An awakened cage has two jobs. First, it can affect nearby entities. A cage awakened with water gives the Conduit Power effect, and different fluids give different effects. A mode slot lets you choose which entities are affected. Second, it works for fan processing just like a full conduit: air passing through the cage creates a Channeling Setup, and items caught in the stream are processed.[1][4]
Prismarine Alloy
Prismarine Alloy is the base material for the cage and for the Prismarine Alloy Rod. You can make it by hand or in a mixer. The pack changed both of these recipes from the mod's versions, so the recipes below are the ones that apply here.[3]

Nautilus shell chain
The mod makes nautilus shells easier to get through a short chain of processing steps. Milling Limestone gives Calcium Rich Powder and a Suspicious Rock. Channeling that rock gives a Spiky Shell and a Nautilus Shell.[1][3]

Other channeling uses
The mod's project page lists a few more things channeling can do: channeling flint has a chance to give prismarine shards, dead coral can be revived (and then harvested with harvesters), and dry sponges can be channeled for a chance at extras. It also describes fully renewable copper from prismarine.[1]
How do you progress through Create: Aquatic Ambitions?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
This mod is a small, material-focused add-on for Create, so its progression is a short chain of crafting steps, not a long tier ladder. Here is how the pieces fit together in this pack, from the first material to the end product.[3]
First: Prismarine Alloy
Everything starts with Prismarine Alloy. The pack changed how it is made, so don't assume the mod's default recipe applies. You can make it at a crafting table or with a Create mixer, and the pack changed both versions.[3]
Crafting Shaped

Next: Compact and shape the alloy
Once you have the alloy, you can turn it into a Prismarine Alloy Block for storage, and turn that block back into alloy whenever you need it. You can also make a Prismarine Alloy Rod, which is needed for the final item. These recipes are unchanged from the mod.[3]

Last: The Conduit Cage
The end of this chain is the Conduit Cage, shown in game as the Conduit Cage. It is a shaped crafting recipe that uses the alloy and the alloy rod from the steps above. The recipe is the mod's own, not a pack change.[3]
Crafting Shaped

Side chain: shells and rocks
The mod also adds a shell-and-rock chain that runs alongside the alloy line. Milling Create's limestone gives you Calcium Rich Powder and a Suspicious Rock.[3]

Recipe id: create:milling/limestone
Milling limestone gives the powder and the rock.
A suspicious rock can then go through the mod's channeling recipe, which gives you a Spiky Shell and a nautilus shell.[3]

Channeling the rock gives a spiky shell and a nautilus shell.
Crushing a nautilus shell with Create's crushing recipe gives you an Nugget of Experience, another spiky shell and some bone meal.[3]

Crushing a nautilus shell returns another spiky shell.
How does Create: Aquatic Ambitions work with other mods?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
This addon is built on top of Create, so most of its links to other mods run through Create machines and parts. In this pack, the recipes that mix its items with items from other mods are the Conduit Cage, the crushing of nautilus shells, and the milling of limestone.[1][3]
Conduit Cage: Create fluid piping meets the vanilla conduit
The Conduit Cage is crafted from a Fluid Pipe, a vanilla Conduit, and the addon's own Prismarine Alloy and Prismarine Alloy Rod. So you need Create's pipework and a vanilla conduit before you can build one.[3]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: create_aquatic_ambitions:crafting/materials/mechanical_conduit
The project page describes the Conduit Cage as a machine for granting or removing effects, and for simplifying channeling setups. Channeling is the addon's new fan processing type, which uses an active conduit as its catalyst.[1]
Crushing nautilus shells with Create
A vanilla Nautilus Shell can go through Create's crushing process. It gives you a Nugget of Experience, a Spiky Shell and some Bone Meal. The Spiky Shell matters because, according to the project page, it is used with prismarine alloy rods to craft tridents.[1][3]
Crushing (create)
Recipe id: create_aquatic_ambitions:crushing/nautilus_shards
Milling Create's limestone
Milling Limestone gives you Calcium Rich Powder and Suspicious Rock. This recipe is registered under Create's own namespace, alongside Create's other milling recipes. The project page also says the addon makes nautilus shells easier to get from limestone.[1][3]
Milling (create)
Recipe id: create:milling/limestone
Create version requirement
The project page says versions 2.0.0 and above of the addon are only compatible with Create 6.0.6 or above.[1]
What changed in Create: Aquatic Ambitions between versions?
2 parts
All the Mons 1.3.0 ships Create: Aquatic Ambitions 2.0.4. The mod has been in the pack since All the Mons 0.3.0-beta or earlier. Below are the notable changes from the mod's own changelogs for the releases I have notes on.[5]
2.0.4 (the version in this pack)
- Fix: the mod no longer refuses to load alongside older versions of JEI. The version floor is now lowered to match Create's, and JEI stays fully optional.[6]
- Languages: a Ukrainian (uk_ua) translation was added, and the Simplified Chinese (zh_cn) translation was updated.[6]
2.0.2
- Updated to Create 6.0.8.[7]
- New feature: more oxidized copper recipes.[7]
- New feature: KubeJS support.[7]
Unverified The pack changelogs for this mod are not shown in the sources here, so any change the pack itself made to it across releases is unverified. The same goes for mod releases other than the ones listed above.
