What is Berry Pouch [Cobblemon]?
2 parts
Berry Pouch is a small Cobblemon add-on that gives you a dedicated bag for berries. If you've ever had your inventory fill up with berries while exploring, this one is for you.[1]
While you carry the pouch, any berries you collect go straight into it, so there's no manual sorting. It supports all the berries added by Cobblemon. The upper slots are for Natural Berries and the lower slots are for Mutation Berries, which makes it easy to see how far along your collection is.[1]
Bait storage and quick access
On the right side of the pouch there are 16 unrestricted slots. They hold items with the berrypouch:other_bait tag. They are mainly there for the Poké Rod's automatic bait reloading, and they can also load Poké Baits with custom effects.[1]
The pouch also has its own accessory slot and a shortcut key, so you can reach it without digging through your inventory.[1]
In this pack
The pack ships Berry Pouch 0.4.3-beta for NeoForge 1.21.1, and it has been in the pack since 0.4.0-beta or earlier.[2]
Unverified The sources don't show this mod on the ATM Star path or in any quest, so you shouldn't expect it to be part of the pack's progression.
How do you get started with Berry Pouch [Cobblemon]?
3 parts
Berry Pouch is a small Cobblemon add-on that gives you a dedicated bag for berries. Getting started is quick: you craft the Small Berry Pouch first, and the Large Berry Pouch builds on it.[1][3]
Step 1: Make the Small Berry Pouch
Your first craft is the berrypouch:berry_pouch_30. It's a shaped crafting recipe from the mod itself. Check the recipe below for exactly what it needs.[3]

Recipe id: berrypouch:berry_pouch_30
This is the in-pack recipe for the Small Berry Pouch.
Make this one first because it sorts your berries for you. While you carry a Berry Pouch, any berries you collect are deposited into it automatically, so you don't have to sort them by hand.[1]
Step 2: Know how the pouch is laid out
- The pouch supports all berries added by Cobblemon. The upper slots are for Natural Berries and the lower slots are for Mutation Berries, so you can easily track your collection progress.[1]
- The 16 unrestricted slots on the right hold items with the berrypouch:other_bait tag. They are mainly used for the Poké Rod's automatic bait reloading, and they also support loading Poké Baits with custom effects.[1]
- The pouch has a dedicated accessory slot and a shortcut key.[1]
Step 3: Upgrade to the Large Berry Pouch
Once you're collecting berries regularly, you can upgrade to the berrypouch:berry_pouch_69. This is an upgrade-type recipe that builds on the Small Berry Pouch you already made, so keep it. The pack has changed this recipe, so don't rely on what you may remember from the mod's defaults. Use the recipe below.[3]

How does Berry Pouch [Cobblemon] work?
5 parts
Berry Pouch is a small utility mod for Cobblemon, not a machine mod. It has no multiblocks, power or fluids. Everything revolves around a bag that stores berries for you and feeds bait to your fishing rod.[1]
Automatic berry pickup
While you carry a Berry Pouch, any berries you collect are deposited into the pouch automatically, so you don't have to sort them by hand.[1]
The pouch supports all berries added by Cobblemon. The upper slots are for Natural Berries and the lower slots are for Mutation Berries, which makes it easy to track your collection progress.[1]
Bait slots and the Poké Rod
On the right side of the pouch there are 16 unrestricted slots. They store items with the berrypouch:other_bait tag.[1]
These slots are mainly there for the Poké Rod's extension feature, automatic bait reloading. They also support loading Poké Baits with custom effects.[1]
Accessory slot and hotkey
The pouch has its own dedicated accessory slot and a shortcut key, so you can open it without digging through your inventory.[1]
Getting a pouch
The berrypouch:berry_pouch_30 is crafted from a shaped recipe.[3]

The berrypouch:berry_pouch_69 is made by upgrading a Small Berry Pouch. The pack has changed this recipe, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults.[3]

Unverified The sources don't say how many berries each pouch size holds or how the slot counts differ between the Small and Large pouches. The pack also has no config files for this mod, so there is nothing to tune.
Pokéball Launcher
The mod's project page says the Pokéball Launcher was added in the 0.5.0 update. It works much like the Berry Pouch: it saves inventory space so you can carry more Pokéballs. You use a hotkey to cycle through the Pokéballs in its slots and launch them, and its model and texture change as you switch between Pokéballs.[1]
Unverified The recipe dump for this pack lists no Pokéball Launcher recipe, so how you obtain it here is unconfirmed.
How do you progress through Berry Pouch [Cobblemon]?
2 parts
Berry pouches have a short progression path in this pack: a Small Berry Pouch as your starting tier, and a Large Berry Pouch as the upgrade built on top of it.[3]
Starting tier: Small Berry Pouch
The berrypouch:berry_pouch_30 is made in a normal crafting grid with a shaped recipe. This is the mod's own recipe, and the pack does not change it.[3]
Crafting Shaped
| Empty slot | Empty slot | |
| any natural berry | ||
| Empty slot | Empty slot |
Recipe id: berrypouch:berry_pouch_30
This is the mod's own shaped recipe, unchanged by the pack.
Upgrade tier: Large Berry Pouch
The berrypouch:berry_pouch_69 uses the mod's pouch upgrade recipe type, so you build it from the Small pouch rather than from scratch. The pack changes this recipe from the mod's default, so follow the recipe below.[3]

What changed in Berry Pouch [Cobblemon] between versions?
1 part
All the Mons 0.9.0-beta ships Berry Pouch [Cobblemon] 0.4.3-beta. The mod has been in the pack since All the Mons 0.4.0-beta or earlier, so you may have seen it in older versions of the pack too.[2]
0.4.3-beta
- Adds support for Cobblemon 1.7.[4]
- The missing Eggant Berry slot is normal. The mod's changelog says it is planned to be added in version 0.5, so don't treat it as a bug in your pack.[4]
I don't have any pack changelog entries for this mod, so I can't say how its version changed from one All the Mons release to the next.[2]
