How do you get started with Snad?
3 parts
Same as in the Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 guide
Good news: getting started with this mod is quick. There are no long crafting chains, because each block is made by putting two of its matching vanilla block together. It works in your inventory grid or any other crafting grid.[1][2]
Step 1: Make Snad first
Start with Snad. Unlike regular sand, it increases the growth rate of sugarcane, cacti and any other plantable crop. That makes it the one to craft before anything else.[2]
Two sand crafted together gives you Snad, and you can do it in your inventory.
In this pack the growth boost is controlled by [[config:config/snad-common.toml#Growth Speed]], which is set to 2. The config describes it as the multiplier for the chance of growth.[3]
Step 2: Red Snad for red sand setups
If you have red sand, you can make Red Snad the same way. The sources here don't describe any growth difference between it and regular Snad, so I won't promise one.[1][4]
Red Snad is crafted from red sand.
Step 3: Suol Snad for soul sand
Suol Snad is made from soul sand. This pack sets [[config:config/snad-common.toml#Movement Speed]] to 1.4, which the config describes as the multiplier for movement speed on Suol Snad.[1][3]
Suol Snad is crafted from soul sand.
