What is Bamboo Everything?
1 part
Bamboo Everything is a building-focused mod. It adds new blocks made with bamboo, and each block also comes in a dry texture variant, so you get a greener look and a drier, aged look from the same idea.[1]
The project page shows ladders and fences as examples of what it adds, which makes it a handy pick when you want a natural, bamboo-built base.[1]
In this pack
FTB StoneBlock 4 1.22.0 ships Bamboo Everything 21.1.2 for Minecraft 1.21.1 (the NeoForge build). It has been in the pack since 1.0.0 or earlier, so it is a long-standing part of the mod list.[2]
Unverified The project page says the raft is no longer in the latest versions of the mod. Whether the build in this pack includes a raft could not be confirmed, so check in-game before you plan around it.
How do you get started with Bamboo Everything?
4 parts
Same as in the FTB StoneBlock 4 1.21.0 guide
Bamboo Everything adds extra building blocks made from bamboo, and each block also comes in a dry texture variant. All the recipes below are the ones this pack uses.[1][3]
First, make Dry Bamboo
Start with Dry Bamboo. It is made by smelting, and the dry ladder and the dry torch are both crafted from it, so make it before those.[3]
This is a smelting recipe for Dry Bamboo.
Next, ladders and torches
The ladder and torch are the quickest wins because you craft them in a crafting grid. Each has a normal and a dry version, and the dry versions are made from Dry Bamboo instead of plain bamboo.[3]

Then, use the stonecutter for the building blocks
The rest of the mod's blocks are made in a stonecutter from vanilla bamboo items. That covers the bundle, slab, stairs, fence, fence gate, door and trapdoor, so you don't need a crafting grid for any of them.[3]
- The Bamboo Bundle is cut from the vanilla bamboo block.[3]
- The Bamboo Slab and Bamboo Stairs are cut from the matching vanilla bamboo slab and stairs.[3]
- The Bamboo Fence, Bamboo Fence Gate, Bamboo Door and Bamboo Trapdoor are cut from their vanilla bamboo counterparts.[3]

Finally, switch to the dry look
Each dry building block is also cut in the stonecutter from the same vanilla bamboo item as its normal version. You don't need to make the normal block first. For example, the Dry Bamboo Bundle comes straight from the vanilla bamboo block.[3]

How does Bamboo Everything work?
4 parts
Bamboo Everything adds building blocks made from bamboo, and each block also has a dry texture variant. The sources show no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item handling for it, so the mechanics come down to how you get the blocks and how they drop.[1][4]
Getting the blocks: stonecutting
Most of the set is made in a stonecutter from the vanilla version of the same block. That covers Bamboo Door, Bamboo Fence, Bamboo Fence Gate, Bamboo Slab, Bamboo Stairs and Bamboo Trapdoor. The Bamboo Bundle is cut from the vanilla bamboo block.[4]
The bundle is a stonecutter recipe, like the rest of the building blocks.
The dry blocks follow the same pattern. They are also cut in a stonecutter from the vanilla version of the block, not from the matching block from this mod. That applies to Dry Bamboo Door, Dry Bamboo Fence, Dry Bamboo Fence Gate, Dry Bamboo Slab, Dry Bamboo Stairs and Dry Bamboo Trapdoor. The Dry Bamboo Bundle comes from the vanilla bamboo block.[4]
Dry Bamboo, ladders and torches
Dry Bamboo is the one material you make by smelting. It comes from a smelting recipe that starts from plain bamboo.[4]
Ladders and torches are the items here made with shaped crafting. The normal Bamboo Ladder and Bamboo Torch have dry counterparts, Dry Bamboo Ladder and Dry Bamboo Torch, and both of those are built from Dry Bamboo.[4]

What drops when you break them
Fences, fence gates and ladders drop themselves, and the dry versions do the same. The drop is tied to the block surviving an explosion, so a blast can destroy it without a drop.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
Stairs, torches, trapdoors and bundles work the same way: each drops itself, in both the normal and the dry version, and each has the same explosion condition.[11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18]
- Doors only drop an item from the lower half, for both Bamboo Door and Dry Bamboo Door. Breaking the top half on its own won't give you the door.[19][20]
- A double slab gives you both slabs back when you break it, for both Bamboo Slab and Dry Bamboo Slab. Explosions can reduce that drop.[21][22]
Rafts
The language file still has names for a Bamboo Raft and a Dry Bamboo Raft, but the pack's recipe list has no recipe that makes them. The mod's project page also says the raft is no longer in the latest versions.[1][4][23]
How do you progress through Bamboo Everything?
3 parts
This mod doesn't have tiers in the usual sense. In the pack's recipes it is a decorative building set that comes in a bamboo variant and a dry bamboo variant. The progression is just how you get from vanilla bamboo to each variant, so here's the path.[4]
Get Dry Bamboo
Dry Bamboo is the base material for the dry variant. You make it by smelting vanilla bamboo, and the recipe type in the pack is a plain smelting recipe.[4]
Craft ladders and torches
Ladders and torches are the only pieces here made at a crafting table. The recipes below cover the normal Bamboo Ladder and Bamboo Torch, plus the dry versions, Dry Bamboo Ladder and Dry Bamboo Torch.[4]

Use the stonecutter for the rest
Everything else is a stonecutting recipe. You feed the matching vanilla bamboo item into a stonecutter and get the mod's version. The dry variants come straight from the same vanilla items, so you don't need to make the normal piece first.[4]
- Blocks: Bamboo Bundle and Dry Bamboo Bundle both come from the vanilla bamboo block.[4]
- Building pieces: Bamboo Slab, Bamboo Stairs, Bamboo Fence and Bamboo Fence Gate each come from the matching vanilla piece. So do their dry versions: Dry Bamboo Slab, Dry Bamboo Stairs, Dry Bamboo Fence and Dry Bamboo Fence Gate.[4]
- Doors and trapdoors: Bamboo Door and Bamboo Trapdoor follow the same pattern, and so do Dry Bamboo Door and Dry Bamboo Trapdoor.[4]
Dry Bamboo Bundle is made in the stonecutter from the vanilla bamboo block.
What changed in Bamboo Everything between versions?
2 parts

- 3.0.1: updated to 1.20.1 and changed some recipes to use the stonecutter, which makes the mod add new variants of bamboo blocks. It also added data gens.[24][25]
- 3.0.0: updated to 1.20.[24][25]
Unverified Whether the FTB StoneBlock 4 pack changelogs mention Bamboo Everything is not shown in the sources here, so no pack-level changes for this mod are listed.
