What is Lootintegrations mod?

Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide

Lootintegrations is part of the pack's mod list. The pack ships version 4.7, built for Minecraft 1.21.1 (the file is lootintegrations-1.21.1-4.7.jar).[1]

That is all I can confirm about it right now. The sources I have for this pack only cover the mod's version and file name, so I won't guess at its features or at who it suits best.[1]

Unverified What Lootintegrations adds, where it fits in the pack's progression, and whether it is tied to any quest line or the ATM Star path are not confirmed by the available sources. Treat any claim about those as unverified until the mod's own documentation or in-pack behaviour has been checked.

How do you get started with Lootintegrations mod?

2 parts

Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.23.0 guide

The sources here only show this mod's config, so that is where getting started begins. Going by that config, Lootintegrations adds extra items to loot, and a handful of settings decide how it does that in this pack.[2]

What the config does in this pack

  • moddedItemWeight.moddedItemWeight is set to 3 in this pack. The config describes it as extra weight for modded items, so a higher value makes them more likely to be chosen.[2]
  • skipExistingItems.skipExistingItems is false in this pack. If you turned it on, items already present in the loot would be skipped to avoid stacking extras, which the config says also raises the chance of modded loot.[2]
  • skipMapItems.skipMapItems is true in this pack. Map items are skipped when extra items are generated, to avoid structure search lag. Maps in the original chest still exist.[2]

Seeing what a chest can give you

There are also options that let you peek behind the curtain, and both are off in this pack. showcontainerloottable.showcontainerloottable prints a container's loot table to chat the first time you open it, and debugOutput.debugOutput shows the added loot in the log.[2]

Tip: If you are running your own tests, switch on the loot table printout first. It is the quickest way to see what a chest can hold when you open it for the first time.[2]

Unverified The sources here do not show any recipes, quests or item descriptions for this mod, so there is no crafting order or quest path to list. Check the pack's quest book and the config file itself for anything beyond the settings above.

How does Lootintegrations mod work?

2 parts

Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide

Here's the honest picture first: nothing I have for this mod describes machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation. The only thing I can confirm is its config file, and that points to a mod that works on loot. It adds extra items to loot that is generated, and the config controls how it does that.[3]

How the loot addition is tuned

The main dial is moddedItemWeight.moddedItemWeight. It adds extra weight to modded items, so they are more likely to be picked: the higher the value, the more likely modded items become. The pack sets it to 3.[3]

skipExistingItems.skipExistingItems decides whether items already present in the loot are skipped, so extra items don't stack on top of them. The config warns that turning it on also increases the chance of modded loot. The pack leaves it off (false).[3]

skipMapItems.skipMapItems makes the extra-item generation skip map items, to avoid lag from structure searches. Maps in the original chest still exist. The pack has it on (true).[3]

Debugging options

Tip: If you're curious what the mod adds to a chest, turn on the container loot table option, open a container, and read the chat output. Turn it back off afterwards so your chat stays clean.[3]

Unverified Whether this mod has any machines, multiblocks, power or fluid handling, or automation support is unverified. No guidebook, documentation or item descriptions were available, and no recipes produce its items.

Which Lootintegrations mod config options matter?

3 parts

Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide

Lootintegrations has only a handful of options, and in this pack every one of them is set to the default value listed in its own description. The pack didn't change anything here, so what you see is the mod's stock behavior. These are the ones worth knowing about.[3]

Loot weighting

moddedItemWeight.moddedItemWeight is set to 3 in this pack, which is also the default. It adds extra weight to modded items, so they are more likely to be chosen for the added loot. A higher number makes modded items proportionally more likely. If you want modded items to show up more or less often in chests, this is the option to turn.[3]

skipExistingItems.skipExistingItems is false. When enabled, it skips adding items that are already present in the loot, which avoids stacking extra items. The description warns that turning it on also increases the chance of modded loot, so it interacts with the weight setting above.[3]

Maps and performance

skipMapItems.skipMapItems is true. It skips map items during additional item generation to avoid structure search lag. Maps that were already in the original chest still exist, so you won't lose them.[3]

Debugging helpers

Tip: Both debugging options are off in this pack. If you're tweaking the weighting and want to see what the mod actually adds, turn on the debug output and check the log.[3]

Items and blocks

We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as lootintegrations, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
