What is Easy Villagers?
1 part
Easy Villagers makes villagers much easier to handle. In this pack you get the NeoForge 1.21.1 build, version 1.1.42, and it has been in the pack since 1.0.3 or earlier.[1]
The big trick is that you can pick up a Villager by Sneak + Right-clicking on it. That makes villager halls super easy to build, because you no longer have to herd anyone around.[2]
The mod also lets you create Trader Blocks. You put a villager into one together with its trading table, and you get a one-block trading solution. The quest book names two of these blocks: the Trader and the Auto Trader.[2]
Where it sits in the quest book
The quest book covers this mod in "Easy Villagers" quest. It is in the chapter "Useful Items & Tips", which is chapter 2 of 31 in the book and holds 30 quests. The chapter's own intro quest, "Tips & Tricks!" quest, says it is full of useful items and tips for your playthrough.[2]
To complete the quest you need to get a Villager item and then either a Trader or an Auto Trader. The quest sits among other handy picks such as "No More Traders!" quest and "Simple Magnets" quest, so it is a nice side option and not a required step on its own.[2]
How do you get started with Easy Villagers?
3 parts
Easy Villagers is about making villagers simple to move and use. In this pack, the quest book covers it in the "Easy Villagers" quest quest, in the "Useful Items & Tips" chapter (chapter 2 of 31). Here is the order I'd go in.[2]
Pick up a villager first
You don't need to craft anything to start. Sneak + Right-click on a villager and you pick it up as a Villager item. The quest says this makes villager halls super easy, since you can carry villagers around and place them where you want. The mod also has a key binding called "Pick Up".[2][3]
Craft a Trader next
Next, make a Trader. The quest describes Trader Blocks as a way to place a villager together with its trading table, giving you a one block trading solution. The pack changed this recipe, so go by the one below rather than what you remember from the mod.[2][4]

Then the Auto Trader
The quest's second task accepts either the Trader or the Auto Trader, so you can go straight to the Auto Trader if you prefer. This recipe is also changed by the pack.[2][4]

How does Easy Villagers work?
2 parts
Easy Villagers adds villagers as items, plus a set of blocks to work with them. The mod's own text names these blocks: the Auto Trader, the Trader, the Breeder, the Converter, the Farmer, the Incubator, the Iron Farm and an Inventory Viewer. It also adds a Villager item and a Baby Villager item.[3][5]
What the machine screens show
The mod's language file gives a peek at what the screens handle. There are labels for Input Items, Output Items, Food Items, Villager Input and Villager Output, plus Villager Equipment and Villager Inventory. So the screens clearly deal with both ordinary items and villagers.[3]
The mod also defines controls you can bind: Cycle Trades and Pick Up.[3]
Trader and Auto Trader recipes
The pack has changed the crafting recipes for both trading blocks, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults. Here are the exact in-pack recipes.[4]
Crafting Shaped

| any colorless glass panes | any colorless glass panes | |

The pack changed this recipe for the Trader.

Recipe id: easy_villagers:auto_trader
The pack changed this recipe for the Auto Trader.
Unverified How each machine actually works (breeding and conversion timing, what food or inputs it accepts, and how hoppers or pipes interact with it) is not shown by the sources here, and there are no config files or guidebook for this mod to check. Test it in-game before you build automation around it.
How do you progress through Easy Villagers?
2 parts
Easy Villagers has a short path in this pack, and it runs through one quest. The "Easy Villagers" quest quest sits in the "Useful Items & Tips" chapter, which is chapter 2 of 31 in the quest book.[2]
Step 1: Pick up a villager
The quest's first task is to get a Villager. You do that by Sneak + Right-clicking a villager, which picks it up. The quest points out that this makes villager halls much easier to build.[2]
Step 2: Make a trader block
The second task takes either a Trader or an Auto Trader. The quest describes trader blocks as a way to put a villager in together with its trading table, giving you a one block trading solution.[2]
Both recipes are changed by the pack, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults. Here is the in-pack Trader recipe:[4]
Crafting Shaped

And here is the in-pack Auto Trader recipe:[4]

Which FTB Skies 2: Aero quests use Easy Villagers?
2 parts
Easy Villagers has a single quest in this pack. It is "Easy Villagers" quest, and it sits in the chapter "Useful Items & Tips", which is chapter 2 of 31 in the quest book and holds 30 quests.[2]
What the quest asks for
The quest has two tasks. First, you hand in a Villager. Second, you hand in either a Trader or an Auto Trader, and either one counts.[2]
The quest text explains the idea: you can pick up villagers by Sneak + Right-clicking on them, which makes villager halls super easy. You can also make Trader Blocks and place a villager inside with their trading table, giving you a one block trading solution.[2]
Where it sits in the book
"Useful Items & Tips" is a grab bag of handy tools and tricks rather than a strict chain. Its intro quest, "Tips & Tricks!" quest, says you will find plenty of useful items and tips for your playthrough. Neighbours in the same chapter include "Building Gadgets" quest and "Crafting Stations" quest. The sources don't show any prerequisite or follow-up quest for the Easy Villagers quest.[2]
