What is KubeJS?
KubeJS is in this pack's mod list, at version 2101.7.2, and the file is the NeoForge build of the mod.[1]
The mod list says it was first included in version 1.22.0 of the pack or earlier. It does not say which release added it.[1]
Unverified The sources here do not describe what KubeJS does, because no mod description or in-jar guidebook was available. They also show no quest chapter, group or position for it in the pack's quest book, and no place for it on the ATM Star path. Check the pack's quest book in game for anything about it.
How does KubeJS work?
3 parts
KubeJS is a scripting mod, so it has no machines, multiblocks, power or fluid systems of its own. In this pack it is the tool that changes the game through scripts. The only script I have to go on is the startup script that registers items, so this section stays short.[2]
What the startup script does
The script runs at startup and renames the KubeJS mod entry and the platform info entry for the pack's own mod to the pack's name. That is why the pack's custom content shows up under the pack's branding.[2]
It then registers a list of custom items. They are created under the ftb namespace, not the kubejs one, and each gets a display name from a translation key and the epic rarity.[2]
- Food and special items such as ender_apple, firestick and kelp_goo.[2]
- Skill reset items for magic, melee, ranged, athletics, mining and defense, for example skill_reset_magic and skill_reset_mining.[2]
- "Incomplete" versions of some items, such as incomplete_elemental_arcanite and incomplete_evolutionary_matter, next to their finished forms like elemental_arcanite and evolutionary_matter.[2]
- Late-game style materials such as ultimate_singularity, infinitely_compressed_circuit_board, time_prism, positron_matrix and omega_dragon_egg.[2]
The music disc
The music_disc item is registered as a real disc that plays in a jukebox. Its sound is ftb:blockvblock.[2]
Creative tab
The script also changes the display name of the kubejs:tab creative tab to "Feed The Beast". Look for that tab in creative mode if you want to browse the custom items.[2]
Unverified How these items are obtained, what they do and how they are used in automation is not confirmed by the sources I have. No recipes, tooltips or config files for this mod were available.
How do you progress through KubeJS?
1 part
The sources for this section don't show any tier ladder for KubeJS itself, and no quests or recipes tied to the mod. What they do show is the pack's startup script, which is how the pack changes the game, and it adds a batch of custom items.[2]
The script registers every one of these items with epic rarity, and they live in the ftb namespace rather than a KubeJS one. Examples of the ids it uses are ender_apple, ultimate_singularity, creative_ascension and omega_dragon_egg. The script only registers the items. It doesn't say how you get them or use them.[2]
What the startup script adds
- Skill reset items for magic, melee, ranged, athletics, mining and defense, with ids such as skill_reset_magic and skill_reset_mining.[2]
- Unfinished intermediates whose ids start with incomplete_, such as incomplete_elemental_arcanite, incomplete_evolutionary_matter and incomplete_infinitely_compressed_circuit_board. Their finished counterparts are registered too, like elemental_arcanite, evolutionary_matter and infinitely_compressed_circuit_board.[2]
- A custom music_disc item that is set up as a jukebox disc playing the sound ftb:blockvblock.[2]
- Other special items, including primal_essence, time_prism, positron_matrix, supercritical_mass, kelp_goo and firestick.[2]
The same script also sets the display name of the KubeJS creative tab to "Feed The Beast".[2]

"From pack files" means the list came from the pack's own files; "from the published release" means ForgeBase read the jars of the release itself.
Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as kubejs, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
