What is Factory Blocks?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.2 guide
Factory Blocks is part of the pack, which ships version 1.4.0+mc1.21.1 of the mod, built for NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.1. It has been in the pack since version 2.39 or earlier, so it is a long-standing part of the mod list rather than a recent addition.[1]
Unverified What Factory Blocks adds in detail (its blocks, items and mechanics) could not be confirmed from the material available for this guide, so this overview does not describe them.
How do you get started with Factory Blocks?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mons 1.3.0 guide
Getting started with Factory Blocks is a one-step job. The mod is a decorative block set, and the first thing to make is the Factory Block, whose tooltip reads Dotted Rusty Plate. It's the one block with a recipe I can confirm in this pack.[2][3]
Craft the Factory Block

The pack changed this recipe, and one craft makes 32 Factory Blocks.
Because the pack changed this recipe, don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults. One craft gives you 32 blocks to start building with.[2]
Reading the other variants
The mod has a lot of block variants, and most of them show up in-game under the same name, Factory Block. You tell them apart by the tooltip. For example, the Factory Block has the tooltip Dotted Rusty Plate. Other tooltips include Vent, Grate, Piping, Wireframe and Megacell Battery.[3]
How does Factory Blocks work?
4 parts
The information available for this mod covers its block names, its crafting recipe and how the pack treats its blocks. It does not describe machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item handling, so this section sticks to what is confirmed.[4][5][6]
What the blocks are
Nearly every block in the mod shows up in game as "Factory Block". What tells them apart is the tooltip, which names the look of each one: Rusty Plate, Very Rusty Plate, Grate, Vent, Large Pipes, Small Pipes, Wireframe, Gears & Flywheels, Insulation and more. There are also caution-stripe variants and several circuit-style blocks.[4]
The base block is the Factory Block, whose tooltip reads Dotted Rusty Plate.[4]
Fan variants
The tooltips list several fan blocks. These are the ones named:[4]
- Fan (Redstone Powered) and Fan (Always On)[4]
- Fan (Redstone Four Sided) and Fan (Always On Four Sided)[4]
- Fan (Redstone Malfunctioning) and Fan (Always On Malfunctioning)[4]
- A Medium Fan[4]
Crafting
The pack has changed the crafting recipe for the base Factory Block, and one craft gives you 32 of them. The recipe is shown below exactly as it works in this pack.[6]

Changed by the pack: one craft makes 32 Factory Blocks.
Breaking them
The pack's own script tags the mod's building blocks as mineable with a pickaxe. That covers the plates, pipes, vents, circuits, scaffolds and all the fan variants. The Test Block is not in that list.[4][5]
How do you progress through Factory Blocks?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
There isn't a tier ladder to climb here. The pack's recipe dump lists just one recipe that makes an item from this mod: the Factory Block. The pack has changed that recipe, so it's the pack's version you craft, not the mod default.[7]
Crafting Shaped

| Empty slot | ||
| any iron ingot | any iron ingot |
Recipe id: factory_blocks:factory
This is the pack's changed version of the recipe, and it is a shaped crafting recipe.
The recipe takes plain stone and any iron ingot, so once you have iron you can make a Factory Block.[7]
Unverified The sources here do not show any further tiers, upgrades or a recommended order for this mod, and they show no quest chapter that involves it. No in-jar guidebook was found to check either, so there is no progression path to describe beyond the recipe above.
