What is Simple Teleporters?
3 parts
Simple Teleporters adds easy-to-use teleportation to the game, and this pack ships version 5.1.0 of it. It gives you two ways to get around: a network of linked teleporter blocks, and a personal home teleport.[1][2]
Teleporter network
The Teleporter is a block that gives you instant travel between linked locations. You link it with an Ender Core: hold the core, sneak and right-click a block to bind it, then right-click a Teleporter with that core to insert it. To travel, stand on an active Teleporter (one showing portal particles) and sneak.[3][4]
A plain Ender Core only works inside one dimension. To travel between dimensions, upgrade it to an Enhanced Ender Core at a Smithing Table using an Echo Shard. The linked position is kept through the upgrade.[3][5]
Personal teleportation
The Hearth Crystal saves a home location to you, not to the item. Sneak and right-click a block to set it, then right-click to start a 3-second countdown back home. It works across dimensions, has 20 charges, and you restore them by crafting the depleted crystal with an Ender Pearl.[6]
Good to know
- Teleporters can be dyed with any of the 16 vanilla dye colors, which is purely cosmetic but handy for color-coding destinations.[4]
- A redstone pulse makes a Teleporter send everything standing on it to the destination, including players, mobs, animals and items. It only triggers when the signal goes from unpowered to powered.[4]
- Unlinked Ender Cores stack up to 16. Linked cores with different coordinates will not stack.[3]
How do you get started with Simple Teleporters?
5 parts
Simple Teleporters gives you two ways to get around: a network of Teleporter blocks linked by Ender Cores, and a personal home teleport with the Hearth Crystal. Here is what to make first, and why.[2]
Step one: make an Ender Core
The Ender Core is the key component for linking blocks together, so it comes first. Every Teleporter needs one to know where it sends you.[3]
In this pack the Ender Core is made by smelting.
To link a core, hold it, sneak and right-click a block. It remembers the exact coordinates and dimension. Unlinked cores stack up to 16, so it is worth keeping a few spare for new destinations.[3]
Step two: craft a Teleporter
The Teleporter is the block that does the actual teleporting between linked locations. You need at least two to travel anywhere.[4]

Step three: set up your first route
- Place a Teleporter at your destination.[4]
- Sneak and right-click that Teleporter with an Ender Core to bind the core. Clicking a Teleporter binds one block above it, so you land on top.[3][4]
- Place another Teleporter at your starting location.[4]
- Right-click the starting Teleporter with the linked Ender Core to insert it.[4]
- Stand on the active Teleporter (the one with portal particles) and sneak to teleport.[4]
For travel in both directions, set up two Teleporters with Ender Cores pointing at each other. You can also right-click a Teleporter with any dye to recolor it, which helps you tell destinations apart. There are 16 colors.[4]
Step four: make a Hearth Crystal
If you just want a way back to base, the Hearth Crystal saves a home location to you, not to the item. Hold it in your main hand, then sneak and right-click a block to set your hearth. After that, right-click to start a 3-second countdown, and keep holding the crystal until it finishes.[6]
In this pack the Hearth Crystal is made by smelting.
It has 20 charges and each teleport uses 1. It works across dimensions, so you can come home from the Nether or End. When it runs out, craft it with an Ender Pearl to restore all 20 charges.[6]

Step five: go cross-dimensional
A plain Ender Core only teleports within one dimension. To cross dimensions, upgrade it to an Enhanced Ender Core at a Smithing Table using an Echo Shard. The linked position is kept, and you can link before or after the upgrade. Echo Shards are found in Ancient Cities in the Deep Dark.[3][5]
How does Simple Teleporters work?
7 parts
Simple Teleporters has two separate systems. One is a network of Teleporter blocks linked with Ender Core items. The other is the Hearth Crystal, a personal teleport home. Here is how each one works in this pack.[2][3][4][6]
Linking with Ender Cores
The Ender Core is what links everything together. Hold it, sneak and right-click a block, and the core remembers the exact coordinates and dimension. Sneak and right-click somewhere new to change its destination.[3]
- Clicking a non-solid block binds to that exact position.[3]
- Clicking a Teleporter binds to one block above it, so you land on top.[3]
- Clicking anything else binds to the clicked face of the block.[3]
- Unlinked cores say "Unlinked" in red in the tooltip. Linked cores show their X, Y, Z and dimension.[3]
- Up to 16 Ender Cores stack, but only unlinked ones. Linked cores with different coordinates won't stack.[3]
This is the pack's recipe for the Ender Core.
Enhanced Ender Cores
A normal Ender Core only teleports within the same dimension. For cross-dimensional travel, upgrade it into an Enhanced Ender Core at a Smithing Table. The core can be linked or unlinked when you upgrade it, and it keeps its linked position and custom name.[3][5]
You can link first and upgrade after, or upgrade an unlinked core and link the Enhanced version afterwards. Both work. An Enhanced core still works fine for same-dimension trips and with all the Teleporter features, including redstone and entity teleportation. It has an enchantment glint so you can tell it apart.[5]

- Place a Teleporter at your destination.[4]
- Bind an Ender Core to a location above that destination Teleporter by sneaking and right-clicking on it.[4]
- Place another Teleporter at your starting location.[4]
- Right-click the starting Teleporter with the linked Ender Core to insert it.[4]
An active Teleporter shows portal particles. Stand on it and sneak to travel to the linked destination. Right-clicking a Teleporter ejects its Ender Core, so you can reconfigure your network. If the destination is blocked, you get an error message.[4]
Dyeing and placement
Right-click a Teleporter with any dye to recolor its quartz base and platform. All 16 vanilla colors work and the default is white. It is purely cosmetic, but handy for color-coding destinations. Teleporters can also be placed underwater.[4]
Redstone and automation
A redstone pulse makes a Teleporter send every entity standing on it to the linked destination. That includes players, mobs, animals and items. The source suggests mob collection farms, timed transport with redstone clocks, pressure plate triggers and button-activated stations.[4]
It only fires on the rising edge of the signal, when it goes from unpowered to powered. A sustained signal will not teleport continuously. Teleporters also have a brief cooldown after use to prevent instant re-teleportation.[4]
Unverified The mod's language file describes settings for the teleport cooldown (in seconds, where 0 disables it), for whether a redstone pulse ignores a pending cooldown, and for hiding particles and nameplates. The pack has no config file for this mod in the sources here, so the actual cooldown length and these settings' values in this pack are not shown.
Hearth Crystal
The Hearth Crystal works differently from the Teleporter network. Your hearth location is saved to you, not to the item, so any Hearth Crystal takes you to your own home. Because of that you only ever need one crystal, and you can't have multiple destinations. Each player can have their own hearth location.[6]
This is the pack's recipe for the Hearth Crystal.
- Hold a Hearth Crystal in your main hand, then sneak and right-click a block to set your hearth location.[6]
- To go home, hold any Hearth Crystal in your main hand and right-click to start a 3-second countdown.[6]
- Keep holding the crystal until the teleport completes.[6]
Switching items or dropping the crystal during the countdown cancels the teleport, which is a handy way to back out. You can't start a second teleport while one is pending. It works across dimensions, so you can teleport home from the Nether or the End.[6]
Charges and recharging
A Hearth Crystal has 20 charges, and each teleport uses 1. When it is empty it can't teleport until recharged. The durability bar shows what is left: green when full, yellow when low and red when nearly empty. Crafting the crystal back up restores all 20 charges.[6]

How do you progress through Simple Teleporters?
3 parts
Simple Teleporters has no big tech tree. Progression is three steps: a same-dimension network, a cross-dimension upgrade, and a personal home item. Here is how they stack up in this pack.[2]
Tier 1: Teleporter and Ender Core
This is where you start. The Teleporter is a block that gives instant travel between linked locations. The Ender Core is the key component that links them together.[3][4]

The Ender Core is made by smelting in this pack.
To link a core, hold it, sneak and right-click a block. It remembers the exact coordinates and dimension. If you click a Teleporter, it binds to one block above it so you land on top. Unlinked cores stack up to 16, which makes it easy to keep spares for new destinations.[3]
- Place a Teleporter at your destination.[4]
- Bind an Ender Core to a spot above that destination Teleporter by sneaking and right-clicking it.[4]
- Place a second Teleporter at your starting point.[4]
- Right-click the starting Teleporter with the linked core to insert it.[4]
- Stand on the active Teleporter (the one with portal particles) and sneak to travel.[4]
A plain Ender Core only works inside one dimension. For two-way travel, set up two Teleporters with cores pointing at each other. The Teleporter ejects its core when you right-click it, so you can reconfigure your network later.[3][4]
You can also right-click a Teleporter with any dye to recolor it, with 16 vanilla colors available. It is purely cosmetic, but handy for labeling destinations. A redstone pulse makes a Teleporter send everything standing on it, not just players.[4]
Tier 2: Enhanced Ender Core
The Enhanced Ender Core is the cross-dimensional upgrade. You can link it to a spot in the Nether and teleport there from the Overworld. It also still works for same-dimension trips, and it works with redstone activation.[5]

The linking data is kept when you upgrade, so you can link first or upgrade first. An Enhanced Ender Core also has an enchantment glint so you can tell it apart from a regular core at a glance.[5]
Tier 3: Hearth Crystal
The Hearth Crystal is a separate, personal option. The home location is saved to you, not to the item, so any Hearth Crystal takes you to the same place. It works across dimensions, so you can teleport home from the Nether or the End.[6]
Like the Ender Core, the Hearth Crystal is smelted in the pack.
- Set your home by holding the crystal in your main hand, then sneaking and right-clicking a block.[6]
- To go home, right-click while holding it in your main hand. A 3-second countdown starts, and switching items or dropping the crystal cancels it.[6]
- It has 20 charges and each teleport uses 1. The durability bar shows what is left.[6]
