What is MEInfinityCell?
MEInfinityCell is part of the pack's mod list. This pack ships version 26.1-1.0.0 (the file meinfinitycell-26.1-1.0.0.jar), and it was already in the pack by version 1.0.2 or earlier.[1]
Unverified The sources here do not show what MEInfinityCell does in detail, because no mod description or in-jar guidebook was available. They also show no quest book chapter, group or position for it, and nothing on whether the ATM Star path uses it. Any recipes or configs for the mod would be listed in their own sections of this guide, and this overview does not guess at them.
How do you get started with MEInfinityCell?
The sources I have for MEInfinityCell are thin, so this section stays short. All they show is text from the mod's own language file, and none of it gives a crafting order for this pack.[2]
The language file has an item name string, "ME %s Infinity Cell", where the game fills in the %s. It also has tooltip strings: "Infinity in %s as Fluid" and "Includes the following items:". That is everything the sources say about what the mod displays.[2]
Unverified How you make or obtain anything from this mod in the pack is not shown by the sources here. No recipe, quest or config for MEInfinityCell was available, so I can't give you a first-steps order or a recipe block, and I won't guess at one.
How does MEInfinityCell work?
3 parts
MEInfinityCell provides the Infinity Cell type, and the pack's own startup script uses it to register a set of separate cells. Each one is tied to a single material, so you don't get one generic cell.[2][3]
The mod's language file names the item "ME %s Infinity Cell", where %s is a placeholder for a name. It also has a tooltip line "Infinity in %s as Fluid" and another reading "Includes the following items:".[2]
Item cells in this pack
Each item cell the pack script creates is tied to a single item type. Each also gets its own texture layers on top of the mod's base infinity cell texture.[3]
- The dirt cell is set to Dirt.[3]
- The sand cell is set to Sand.[3]
- The andesite cell is set to Andesite.[3]
- The soul sand cell is set to Soul Sand.[3]
- The blackstone cell is set to Blackstone.[3]
- The basalt cell is set to Basalt.[3]
- The cobbled deepslate cell is set to Cobbled Deepslate.[3]
- The end stone cell is set to End Stone.[3]
- The netherrack cell is set to Netherrack.[3]
- The sky stone cell is set to Sky Stone, from Applied Energistics 2.[3]
- The kivi cell is set to Kivi, from XyCraft World.[3]
The fluid cell
There is also a fluid cell, ME Lava Infinity Cell. The script sets it to the fluid minecraft:lava instead of an item, and its texture layers follow the same pattern as the item cells.[3]
Getting them
Unverified The sources here show no recipe that produces these cells, so how you obtain them in this pack is unverified. They also include no config for this mod, so nothing beyond the cell list above is confirmed.
How do you progress through MEInfinityCell?
2 parts
MEInfinityCell is a bit different from most mods in this guide: the pack doesn't give it a tier ladder of its own. Instead, the pack's startup script registers a set of ready-made infinity cells, each one locked to a single resource. Every one of them uses the mod's base infinity cell type and gets its own texture.[3]
The script doesn't rank these cells or put them in a required order, so I won't invent a progression. What it does tell us is exactly which resource each cell is built for, and that's what the list below covers.[3]
Item cells in the pack
Each of these is registered as an item cell, tied to one item type. Most are plain building and terrain blocks.[3]
- The dirt cell holds Dirt.[3]
- The sand cell holds Sand.[3]
- The andesite cell holds Andesite.[3]
- The soul sand cell holds Soul Sand.[3]
- The blackstone cell holds Blackstone.[3]
- The basalt cell holds Basalt.[3]
- The cobbled deepslate cell holds Cobbled Deepslate.[3]
- The end stone cell holds End Stone.[3]
- The netherrack cell holds Netherrack.[3]
- The sky stone cell holds Sky Stone, the sky stone block from Applied Energistics 2.[3]
- The kivi cell holds Kivi, from XyCraft World.[3]
Fluid cell
There is also one fluid cell: ME Lava Infinity Cell is set up for lava (minecraft:lava) rather than an item.[3]
