What is Just Another Void Dimension?
Just Another Void Dimension is part of this pack at version 26.1.1.0, shipped as the file javd-neo-26.1.1.0+mc26.1.1.jar.[1]
It isn't a new addition. The mod was already in the pack in version 1.0.2 or earlier, so it has been here for a while.[1]
The sources I have for this pack only cover its version and file name. They don't describe the mod's features, recipes, configs or quests, so I'm not going to guess at them here. Check back once more detail is available.[1]
How do you get started with Just Another Void Dimension?
The first thing to make from Just Another Void Dimension is the Void Portal. It is the mod's only item that the sources here show, and it is where your trip into the void starts.[2][3]

This is the in-pack crafting recipe for the Void Portal.
The mod has an advancement called "Enter the Void Dimension", so getting into the dimension is the milestone it tracks. The dimension's biome is called The Void.[3]
The sources I have for this pack do not cover how the portal is lit or used, what the dimension contains, or any quests or config options for the mod, so I will not guess at them here.[2][3]
How does Just Another Void Dimension work?
3 parts
Just Another Void Dimension is a small mod, and the sources for this pack only show a few pieces of it. Nothing I can confirm covers machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation, so this section sticks to what is there: the Void Portal, the Void biome, and one block tag.[3][4][5][6]
The Void Portal
The Void Portal is called Void Portal in game. The mod also has an advancement with the description "Enter the Void Dimension".[3]

This is the in-pack crafting recipe for the Void Portal.
When you break a Void Portal block, it drops itself, one copy per block. The drop only happens if the block survives an explosion, so don't blow it up and expect to get it back.[5]
The Void biome
The mod has a biome called The Void. It has a light blue fog color (#c0d8ff) and a blue sky color (#7ba4ff), and its water color is #43d5ee.[3][4]
The biome is empty by design. It has no carvers, no worldgen features and no spawners in any category (monsters, creatures, ambient mobs, axolotls and water creatures are all empty lists). It has no precipitation, with a temperature of 1.0 and a downfall of 0.4.[4]
The generator block tag
The mod ships a block tag called generator that lists the vanilla concrete blocks, one for each color, from white through to black. The sources here do not say what the mod uses that tag for, so I can only tell you which blocks it contains.[6]
How do you progress through Just Another Void Dimension?
3 parts
Just Another Void Dimension is a small mod in this pack, and the files I have show a single item rather than a ladder of tiers. The one thing you craft is the Void Portal, so progression here is about getting that block and using it.[2]
Getting the Void Portal

Recipe id: javd:portal_block
This is the in-pack recipe for the Void Portal. It is a shaped crafting recipe added by the mod itself.
When you break a Void Portal block, it drops itself, so you can pick it up and move it. The block's loot table has no other drops and only checks that the block survives an explosion.[5]
What waits on the other side
The mod's void biome is an empty place to build in. It has no carvers and no world features, and every spawner list is empty, so no monsters or creatures spawn naturally there.[4]
- Temperature is 1.0 and downfall is 0.4, but the biome has no precipitation.[4]
- The sky color is #7ba4ff and the fog color is #c0d8ff, which gives it a light blue look.[4]
- Water color is #43d5ee, with a darker water fog of #041f33.[4]
Concrete and the generator tag
The mod ships a block tag called generator. It lists the vanilla concrete blocks, one for each dye colour, from white_concrete through to black_concrete. What the mod does with that tag is not shown in the files I have, so I will leave it there.[6]
