What is KubeJS Create?
1 part
KubeJS Create is an integration between Create and KubeJS. It lets KubeJS scripts add and properly edit Create recipes. It is a scripting tool, not a machine or item you build in your world.[1]
This pack includes the mod as a Forge build, so any Create recipe changes made through KubeJS scripts rely on it.[2]
What recipes it can script
The mod supports these Create recipe types: crushing, cutting, milling, basin, mixing, compacting, pressing, sandpaper polishing, splashing (Bulk Washing), deploying, filling and emptying. Mixing and compacting can also be marked as heated or superheated.[1]
On top of those, it supports mechanical crafting, which works like a regular shaped crafting table recipe, and sequenced assembly, where a chain of the other recipe types is used as steps.[1]
How do you get started with KubeJS Create?
1 part
Good news: there's nothing you need to craft first for this one. KubeJS Create is a scripting integration, not a content mod. It connects KubeJS with Create so that KubeJS scripts can add and properly edit Create recipes.[1]
That means you won't find a new machine or tool to build with it. I have no in-pack recipe to show you, so this section has no recipe blocks.[1]
What the mod lets scripts do
Scripts can work with these Create recipe types:[1]
- Crushing, cutting and milling (createCrushing, createCutting, createMilling).[1]
- Basin recipes, mixing and compacting (createBasin, createMixing, createCompacting). Mixing and compacting also support heated and superheated variants.[1]
- Pressing and sandpaper polishing (createPressing, createSandpaperPolishing).[1]
- Bulk washing (createSplashing), deploying, filling and emptying (createDeploying, createFilling, createEmptying).[1]
- Mechanical crafting (createMechanicalCrafting), which works like a regular shaped crafting table recipe.[1]
- Sequenced assembly (createSequencedAssembly), where you give the output items, one input item and a list of ordinary recipe steps.[1]
Unverified Which Create recipes this pack adds or changes through KubeJS Create is not shown in the sources here, and no quest in the pack's quest book involves the mod.
How does KubeJS Create work?
4 parts
Here's the thing to know up front: KubeJS Create doesn't add machines, multiblocks or items of its own. It's a bridge that lets KubeJS scripts add and properly edit Create recipes. So when a Create recipe in this pack behaves differently from what you expect, a script using this mod is the likely reason.[1]
Which Create recipe types scripts can touch
These are the recipe types the mod supports. Each one matches a Create processing method, and scripts call them through the recipe event.[1]
- createCrushing, createCutting and createMilling for the crushing, cutting and milling machines.[1]
- createBasin and createMixing for basin-based crafting. Mixing supports heated and superheated variants.[1]
- createCompacting, which also supports heated and superheated variants.[1]
- createPressing, createSandpaperPolishing, createSplashing (Bulk Washing) and createDeploying.[1]
- createFilling and createEmptying for moving fluids into and out of items.[1]
- createMechanicalCrafting, which works like a regular shaped crafting table recipe with a pattern and a key.[1]
- createSequencedAssembly for multi-step recipes (more on that below).[1]
Item and fluid handling in recipes
Recipe inputs and outputs aren't limited to items. Outputs can be items or fluids, and inputs can be ingredients or fluids, given either as a fluid stack or as a fluid tag with an amount. Item outputs can also carry a chance, which is how recipes like crushing can give bonus drops.[1]
Sequenced assembly
A sequenced assembly recipe takes one input item and a list of steps, and produces a list of outputs. Some outputs can be guaranteed and others can have a chance. The steps are ordinary supported recipes, such as deploying, filling or cutting, and each one takes and returns a transitional item. The recipe also sets how many loops the sequence repeats.[1]
Scripts can also register their own transitional item for these recipes. That has to happen in a startup script, using the sequenced assembly item type.[1]
Mysterious Conversion is a special case
Mysterious Conversion recipes are client side only. Because of that, the mod can't add them through the normal recipe event. The only way to add them is a client script that uses reflection, so they show up as display entries rather than real server recipes.[1]
Unverified Which Create recipes this pack actually adds or changes through KubeJS Create isn't covered by the available sources. The mod has no config files in the pack and no recipes of its own, so check the in-game recipe viewer for the exact recipes. This site does hold All the Mods - Gravitas's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
What changed in KubeJS Create between versions?
1 part
KubeJS Create has been in the pack for a long time. It was first included in All the Mods - Gravitas 1.1 or earlier, and it is still part of Gravitas 4.0.[2]
Mod changelog
The only mod changelog available is for an earlier build than the one this pack ships. It lists a merge of pull request #17 from the 1.18/dev branch, and a "v0.5 Update" (#16).[2][3]
Those entries are just titles, so they don't say what the v0.5 update actually changed. Gravitas 4.0 uses a newer build, so treat this as background rather than a list of what's new in your pack.[2][3]
Unverified No pack changelog entries for this mod were available, so what changed for KubeJS Create between individual Gravitas releases is not shown by the sources here.

Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as kubejs_create, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
