What is Power Armor?
Same as in the FTB Evolution 2 1.2.1 guide
Power Armor is part of the pack's mod list. This pack ships version 1.0.7 (file power_armor-1.0.7.jar), and the mod has been included since pack version 1.0.2 or earlier.[1]
How do you get started with Power Armor?
4 parts
Power Armor adds a compact set of crafted items: a few machine blocks, basic parts, a range of armor modules and the armor pieces themselves. Every recipe below is the exact in-pack one, shown in the recipe blocks, so you don't need to guess at ingredients.[2][3]
Start with the machines
The mod has three machine blocks: the Compressor, the Machine Frame and the Armor Modification Table. Their in-pack recipes are shown below, starting with the Compressor.[2][3]

Plates and basic parts
The Iron Plate and Copper Plate don't use a crafting grid recipe. They use the mod's own compressing recipe type, so check the recipe blocks to see what goes in.[2]
Some basic parts come out in bulk. Each craft of Armor Plating gives you 2, and each craft of Copper Wire gives you 6. The Battery recipe is shown below as well.[2]

How does Power Armor work?
3 parts
Power Armor is a small mod, and the sources for this pack only show part of how it works. Here is what they confirm. The mod adds the Armor Modification Table, the Compressor and the Machine Frame as blocks. Each one drops itself when broken.[3][4][5][6]
Plates and the compressing recipe type
Iron Plate and Copper Plate are not made with a normal crafting grid recipe. In this pack they use the mod's own recipe type, power_armor:compressing. Everything else the mod adds is a shaped crafting recipe.[2]
Iron Plate uses the mod's compressing recipe type.
Copper Plate uses the same compressing recipe type.
The machine blocks
All the machine blocks are plain shaped crafting recipes, so you can build them at a crafting table.[2]

Components, modules and armor
The crafted parts follow the same shaped crafting pattern. One craft of Blank Armor Module gives you 3 modules. One craft of Armor Plating gives you 2 plates. One craft of Copper Wire gives you 6 wires. Battery is a single-item craft.[2]

Unverified How much power the armor stores, how the modules use it, and what each module does in practice are not shown in the sources here. Power Armor has no config files in the pack, and no in-jar guidebook was found, so check the mod in game.
