What is Easy Villagers?
2 parts
Easy Villagers lets you pick up villagers as an item, so you never have to wrangle them with boats, minecarts or walls again. Sneak and right-click a villager, or press the V key, to pick one up. Right-click the ground to place it again.[1]
The pack includes Easy Villagers version 1.1.43+26.1.2. If you build villager trading halls, breeders or iron farms, this mod is for you. It replaces those bulky setups with single blocks, which saves space and cuts lag.[1][2]
What the blocks do
- Trader block: trade with a villager without securing it. The villager can also restock outside working hours, and the restock time doesn't depend on day/night or dimension. You can change the trading interval in the config.[1]
- Auto trader block: works like the trader block but trades for you. Hoppers can put items in and take items out, and the cooldown between trades is configurable.[1]
- Farmer block: a whole crop farm in a single block.[1]
- Breeder block: you put in food and it produces baby villagers.[1]
- Incubator block: speeds up the growth of baby villagers. The speed can be changed in the config.[1]
- Converter block: turns a villager into a zombie villager and then cures it, which gives the player who placed the block better trades. The process takes approximately five minutes.[1]
- Iron farm block: a complete iron farm in one block. It produces one iron golem every four minutes, which averages about one iron ingot per minute.[1]
Trade cycling
You can also reroll a villager's trades without breaking its workstation. Press the trade cycle button, or use the C key. This only works if the villager hasn't been traded with yet, and it works on normal villagers too.[1]
Unverified Where Easy Villagers fits in the pack's progression is unconfirmed. The sources show no quests for this mod and no place for it on the ATM Star path. Whether the pack changes any of its config values or recipes is also unconfirmed, so treat the numbers above as the mod's own descriptions.
How do you get started with Easy Villagers?
5 parts
Easy Villagers lets you pick up villagers as an item. It also adds blocks that substitute farms which include villagers. Here is a sensible order to work through them.[1]
Pick up a villager
There's nothing to craft for this one. Sneak and right-click a villager, or press the V key, to get the villager item. Right-click the ground to place it again.[1]
Make a Trader
The Trader is a good first craft. It lets you trade with a villager without having to secure the villager, and it also lets the villager restock in non-working hours. The restock time doesn't depend on external sources like day/night time or dimension, and you can customize the trading interval in the config.[1]

To take things out of these blocks, sneak and right-click the block with an empty hand. All the blocks keep their contents inside if they are broken.[1]
Automate trading
The Auto Trader works like the Trader, except it trades items for you automatically. You can also put items in and take items out with a hopper, and the cooldown between trades is fully configurable.[1]

Get more villagers
The Breeder produces baby villagers when you put food in. It helps to reduce lag and save space.[1]

The Incubator increases the growth rate of baby villagers, and the speed can be changed in the config. Baby villagers can grow up inside these blocks, but the block's functionality won't work until they are grown.[1]

Resources and better trades
- Farmer: contains a whole crop farm in a single block, which helps to reduce lag and save space.[1]
- Iron Farm: contains a complete iron farm in a single block. It produces one iron golem every four minutes, which averages about one iron ingot per minute.[1]
- Converter: converts a villager to a zombie villager and cures it afterwards, giving the player who placed the block better trades from the cured villager. It needs a golden apple, any type of potion of weakness and the villager to convert, and the process takes approximately five minutes.[1]

How does Easy Villagers work?
7 parts
Easy Villagers turns villagers into an item and then replaces the usual villager farms with single blocks. Everything below comes from the mod's own description. The pack has no config files for this mod, so I can't confirm whether it changes any of the values mentioned here.[1]
The villager item
Sneak and right-click a villager, or press the V key, to pick it up as an item. Right-click the ground to place it again. Every block below works with these villager items.[1]
Trading blocks
The Trader lets you trade with a villager without having to secure it in the world. It also lets the villager restock outside working hours. Restocking doesn't depend on day/night time or on the dimension, and the trading interval can be changed in the config.[1]

The Auto Trader works like the trader, but it makes the trades for you. You can feed items in and pull items out with a hopper. The cooldown between trades is fully configurable.[1]

| any colorless glass panes | any bed | any colorless glass panes |
| any iron ingot | any plank | any iron ingot |

The Incubator speeds up the growth of baby villagers. The speed can be changed in the config. Babies can also grow up inside the blocks, but a block won't work until the baby inside has grown.[1]

Converter
The Converter turns a villager into a zombie villager and then cures it. The player who placed the block gets better trades from the cured villager. It needs a golden apple, any type of potion of weakness, and the villager to convert. The process takes about five minutes.[1]

Iron Farm
The Iron Farm is a complete iron farm in one block. It produces one iron golem every four minutes, which averages about one iron ingot per minute.[1]

| any colorless glass panes | any colorless glass panes | any colorless glass panes |
| any colorless glass panes | Lava Bucket | any colorless glass panes |

Trade cycling
Normally you have to remove a villager's workstation to reset its trades. The mod adds a trade cycle button instead. If the villager hasn't been traded with yet, press the button and its trades reset automatically. You can also press the C key. This works on normal villagers too.[1]
Handling the blocks
- Sneak and right-click a block with an empty hand to take stuff out of it.[1]
- Blocks keep their contents when you break them.[1]
- Hopper input and output is confirmed for the Auto Trader. The description doesn't say whether the other blocks accept hoppers.[1]
Unverified The recipe dump shows no ingredients for any of these crafting recipes, and the pack has no config files for this mod. The crafting costs, the trade interval and cooldown, the incubator speed, and whether the pack changes the conversion and iron golem timings are all unverified. The mod also has an inventory viewer block, which its description says is only for Minecraft 1.20.4 and later and only obtainable in creative mode. Whether it is available in this pack is unverified.
