What is Charging Gadgets?
Charging Gadgets is part of this pack, which ships version 1.16.1 of it. It has been in the pack since All the Mods 11 0.0.8 or earlier, so it is not a recent addition.[1]
How do you get started with Charging Gadgets?
1 part
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta guide
The only Charging Gadgets item with a recipe in this pack's recipe dump is the Charging Station. That makes it your starting point, and the first thing to craft from this mod.[2]
Crafting Shaped

| any lapi gems | any redstone dust | any lapi gems |
| any iron ingot | any coal storage block | any iron ingot |
Recipe id: charginggadgets:charging_station
This is the in-pack recipe, a shaped crafting recipe added by the mod.
The recipe dump for this pack lists no item inputs for this recipe, so don't rely on the dump for the ingredients. Use the recipe card above, which shows the exact in-pack version.[2]
What to do first
- Check the recipe card above and gather what it asks for.[2]
- Craft the Charging Station with the shaped crafting recipe shown.[2]
Unverified The sources here do not show what the Charging Station does in this pack, how it is powered, which items it can charge, or any related config options. No quests in this pack involve the mod, and there is no in-jar guidebook or in-game description to check. Test it in your own world before building a setup around it.
How does Charging Gadgets work?
3 parts
The only block in Charging Gadgets that the sources cover is the Charging Station. This section sticks to what they show, so it is short.[3][4]
Crafting the station
The Charging Station is made in a normal crafting grid with a shaped recipe. The recipe below is the exact one in this pack.[4]
Crafting Shaped
| any iron ingot | any redstone dust | any iron ingot |
| any lapi gems | any redstone dust | any lapi gems |
| any iron ingot | any coal storage block | any iron ingot |
Recipe id: charginggadgets:charging_station
A shaped crafting recipe that comes from the mod itself.
What the station's screen tells you
The station's screen shows a few readouts, and together they show how it works. It lists the energy stored, in FE, as the current amount over the capacity. It counts the burn time left, in seconds. It also shows a message when the fuel source is empty.[3]
- Energy: the station shows its stored energy in FE, as a current value out of a maximum.[3]
- Burn time left: the station counts down the seconds of burn time remaining.[3]
- Fuel source empty: this message appears when the station has no fuel.[3]
So the station works from a fuel source and stores energy in FE. If you see the empty-fuel message, the station has no fuel left.[3]
Breaking it
When you break the Charging Station, its loot table gives you the Charging Station item back. The drop has a survives-explosion condition, so it is not guaranteed if the block is caught in an explosion.[5]
How do you progress through Charging Gadgets?
For Charging Gadgets, the pack's recipe data lists a single recipe, the Charging Station. The recipe sources here show no tiers or upgrade steps, so this section stays short.[4]

| any lapi gems | any redstone dust | any lapi gems |
| any iron ingot | any coal storage block | any iron ingot |
Recipe id: charginggadgets:charging_station
The Charging Station is a shaped crafting recipe in the pack.
When you break a Charging Station, it drops itself as one item. The only condition in its loot table is that the block survives an explosion, so a blast can destroy it without a drop.[5]
