Zero CORE 2 in All the Mods 10

Zero CORE 2 is in the pack at version 1.21.1-2.4.21. It has been in the pack since version 2.25 or earlier, so it's a long-standing part of the mod list.^[1]

The only thing the pack's in-game guide documents for it is its GUI framework, which supports themes. A theme sets the colours of GUI elements like control backgrounds, enabled and disabled text, button borders and gradients, text fields, the text caret and GUI titles.^[2]

Themes are loaded by a mod from a JSON file. Texture pack and mod pack authors can override that theme file. Every value is required and is written as an RGBA colour in a hexadecimal string, such as "868686FF".^[2]

So this is not a mod you build a base around. If you're a player, there's nothing to craft or unlock here. It's mainly relevant if you're a pack or texture author who wants to change how GUIs look.^[2]

Unverified The sources don't show any quests that involve this mod, and they don't place it on the ATM Star path. Which other mods rely on it, and what else it adds, is also unconfirmed.

The part of Zero CORE 2 the sources actually show is its GUI framework, which supports themes. A theme sets the colours of GUI elements, such as control backgrounds, enabled and disabled text, button borders, the text field caret and GUI titles. A mod can load a theme from a JSON file, and texture or mod pack authors can override that file.^[2]

Unverified The sources here do not show any recipes for Zero CORE 2 items or any quests that involve the mod, so this section has no crafting order or recipe blocks. Check the pack's quest book and in-game recipe viewer for anything beyond what is covered here. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

Debug tool

The mod has a debug tool for blocks. Its tooltip tells you to right-click a block to show debug info, and says queries are performed on the server side by default. A further tooltip line mentions querying on the client side.^[3]

JEI message

One feature of the mod shows a message saying that JEI needs to be installed to use it. If you see that message, JEI is what that feature is waiting for.^[3]

Zero CORE 2 is a library mod, so it adds no machines, multiblocks or power systems of its own that you operate directly. What the sources show is the shared GUI framework and a debug tool for inspecting blocks. Other mods can build on both.^[2][3]

GUI themes

The GUI framework supports themes that set the colours of various GUI elements. A mod can load a theme from a JSON file, and texture or mod pack authors can override that theme file.^[2]

Every theme value is required. Each one is an RGBA colour written as a hexadecimal string, for example 868686FF.^[2]

What a theme controls

• General colours: the background of a control, the text colour for enabled and disabled controls, the dark border or outline of a control, and the title colour of a GUI.^[2]
• Buttons: separate colours for the normal, disabled, active and highlighted states. Each state has a gradient with a light start colour and a dark end colour, plus a 3D border with light and dark sections.^[2]
• Text fields: a gradient background, a 3D border with light and dark sections, and the colour of the caret.^[2]

Debug tool

The mod includes a debug tool. You right-click a block with it to show debug info for that block. Queries are performed on the server side by default, and the tool also has a client-side query option.^[3]

Unverified The sources do not show how to switch the debug tool to client-side queries, what info it displays, or its item id and recipe. No recipes in the pack produce this mod's items.

JEI integration

Some Zero CORE 2 features need JEI. If you see a message that JEI needs to be installed to use a feature, that is where it comes from.^[3]

Unverified Details on machines, multiblocks, power, fluid and item handling, and automation are not covered by the available sources, so they are left out. The pack also has no config files for this mod.

This section is short on purpose. The only material available for this mod describes its GUI framework, not a progression path or tiers. There's nothing here to build a tier-by-tier breakdown from.^[2]

What the guide does cover is GUI themes. A mod can load a theme from a JSON file, and texture or mod pack authors can override that file. Each theme value is an RGBA colour written as a hexadecimal string, and all values are required.^[2]

Unverified Quests, crafting recipes and tiers for this mod in this pack could not be confirmed from the available sources, so no progression path is described here.

All the Mods 10 8.1 ships Zero CORE 2 version 1.21.1-2.4.21. The mod has been in the pack since All the Mods 10 2.25 or earlier, so it's a long-time resident.^[1]

Here are the version bumps the pack changelogs record, oldest first:^{[4][5][6][7][8]}

• All the Mods 10 2.33: updated from 1.21.1-2.4.14 to 1.21.1-2.4.16.^[4]
• All the Mods 10 2.47: updated from 1.21.1-2.4.16 to 1.21.1-2.4.17.^[5]
• All the Mods 10 4.0: updated from 1.21.1-2.4.17 to 1.21.1-2.4.18.^[6]
• All the Mods 10 4.13: updated from 1.21.1-2.4.18 to 1.21.1-2.4.20.^[7]
• All the Mods 10 5.5: updated from 1.21.1-2.4.20 to 1.21.1-2.4.21.^[8]

The 5.5 update is the most recent bump in these changelogs, and 8.1 still uses that same version.^[1][8]

Unverified The pack changelogs only record version numbers, and no changelogs for the shipped jars are stored. What actually changed inside Zero CORE 2 between these versions (fixes, features or API changes) is unverified.
