Excessive Utilities
85 quests, with the items each asks for and where they come from in All the Mods 10: To the Sky.
- Excessive Utilities
Excessive Utilities is a continuation of Extra Utilities 1 and 2, offering various useful items and such. Some of you might remember the mod from older versions of modded Minecraft. Whether this is your first time seeing this mod, or your thousandth, these quests will help you get aligned with the mod.
- Division Sigil
To make Unstable Ingots, you will need a Division Sigil. They are occasionally dropped by Withers, or can be found as loot in Strongholds, Mineshafts, Dungeons, and Temples in deserts.
Needs: Excessive UtilitiesAsks for:Division Sigil
- FE Generators
Excessive Utilities adds Forge Energy generators as well. Speed Upgrades are compatible with Generators as well, increasing their FE output up to 64 times while consuming their respective fuel type faster, at the cost of Grid Power (don't worry the generators don't use GP without these upgrades).

Needs: MachinesAsks for:Crusher
- Unstable Ingot (1337/0=)
By dividing an Iron Ingot with a Diamond, you will get an Unstable Ingot. Due to divisions by Diamond being equivalent to divisions by zero, the Unstable Ingot can only last for 10 seconds before exploding. Make sure to craft something with it quickly before then! Attempting to leave the crafting menu while you have this ingot will result in an early explosion, and, possibly, your demise as well. Unstable Ingots crafted through automation are considered "unacceptable", and may not be used in crafting recipes. "Hope you are good at crafting under pressure." - Jonh09
Needs: Division SigilAsks for:Unstable Ingot
- Healing Axe
The Healing Axe will occasionally feed you a bit while held. When you attack an entity with this Axe, they will be healed, at the cost of your own health. This interaction deals increased damage to undead mobs instead. It's also unbreakable.
Needs: Unstable IngotAsks for:Healing Axe
- Nom nom nom, om nom
The Culinary Generator uses food to generate FE.
Needs: FE GeneratorsAsks for:Culinary Generator
- Pseudo-Inversion Sigil
The Pseudo-Inversion Sigil is the unbreakable counterpart of the Division Sigil. Acquiring it requires a particularly demanding rite. At any time, you can sneak right click the Beacon with a Division Sigil to see the next step for this rite. 1. In The End, provide a flat area of at least 11x11 blocks and place a Beacon in its center. 2. Place a chest in each of the 4 cardinal directions 5 blocks away from the Beacon. 3. Lay down a pattern of Redstone Dust and String in a spiral pattern, as shown in this image. Red corresponds to Redstone, and Cyan corresponds to String. Next Page -> 4. In each chest, insert the following contents (check the tasks of this quest to see which items are valid for each chest): 4.1. The Northern chest: the Children of Fire, 12 unique items that are produced with a Furnace. 4.2. The Southern chest: the Gifts of Earth, 12 unique items that naturally generate in the Overworld. 4.3. The Eastern chest: the Descendants of Water, 12 potions. 4.4. The Western chest: the Spices of Air, 12 unique Music Discs. 5. Once all the previous steps have been fulfilled, initiate the ritual through the sacrifice of an Iron Golem near the Beacon. 6. A wave of various hostile mobs will spawn in the area. Defeat 100 of them to invert your Division Sigil into the Pseudo-Inversion Sigil. The ritual will fail if you die or leave The End while the wave is still ongoing.

- Logistics
Excessive Utilities offers Logistics as well. Almost like Integrated Dynamics' logistics, in a way. Attach the specific Node to where you want to take items from (or move items to if using Retrieval Nodes) and use the Pipe Wrench to configure what side doesn't connect. Other Wrenches do work with Excessive Utilities as well!
Needs: Excessive Utilities - Transfer Pipe

World Interaction Upgrade: Allows for the following in-world interactions with Item and Fluid Transfer Nodes: On Cobblestone adjacent to Lava and Water sources, Cobblestone is generated. On Soul Soil adjacent to Blue Ice and Lava, Basalt is generated. On Stone adjacent to a Lava source with Water behind it, Stone is generated. On a Water source block with at least 2 other adjacent Water source blocks, Water is generated. Next Page -> Breadth-First Search Upgrade: Makes Nodes search Transfer Pipes from nearest to farthest. Best suited for networks with numerous short branches. Depth-First Search Upgrade: Makes Nodes remember the path it followed upon reaching a dead end. Useful for pipe networks with many branches. These two upgrades are mutually exclusive with each other. Pseudo Round Robin Upgrade: Makes Nodes move on to the next destination after every succesful transfer. Ender Transmitter: Allows Transfer Nodes to move items, fluids, energy wirelessly, including across dimensions. Makes use of a frequency shared with an Ender Receiver. Ender Receiver: Allows Retrieval Nodes to receive items, fluids, and energy through the same frequency as an Ender Transmitter.

Speed Upgrades make certain Excessive Utilities machines faster. However, they have a GP cost, based on how many upgrades are in the machine at once, based on the following function: stackSize*(122+4*stackSize)/126 Speed Upgrades also have varying stack limits, based on their tier: 4 (Basic) 16 (Magical) 64 (Ultimate) So, for a full stack of each tier, the GP cost would be 4.38, 23.62, 192, for each respective tier.
Needs: Resonator - Quasar/Electron Decoration
The QED (Quadratic Extrapolation Doohicky) is, despite looking like a Crafting Table, much different! You will need at least 1 Ender Flux Crystal in a 9x9x9 Area with the QED (Qubit Eating Dynamo) in the center. The more Ender Flux Crystal you have, the faster the QED (Quite Expensive Decoration) operates.
