CobbleWorkers & Farming

Here in AllTheMons we do things a little differently. You might notice a lack of Passive Mobs like Sheeps and Chickens and Cows. Yeah, they've been replaced by Pokemon! We also have another Mod called Cobble Workers, this gives our Pokemon even more Farming options.

Asks for: Pasture Block

Tumblestone is an important Resource, so obviously we need a way to Farm it. Here we can give Steel Type Pokemon a Job at Farming it. When Black Tumblestone is placed next to Lava or Magma it will grow like Amethyst. Steel Pokemon in a Pasture will Harvest fully mature Black Tumblestone.

Do you really miss the Passive Mobs that much? Well I guess you might need them for certain things. Fine, you may have them back. For a Price in the Market! Welcome to the real world! Nothing is free AHAHAHAHA!!!

If you have an empty Cauldron, Fire Types will fill it up with Lava every 90 Seconds.

Fire is no longer a risk to our Bases if we have Water Types at the ready! In a Pasture, Water Types will extinguish Fire. Not sure how handy this is... but it is pretty cool!

If you still make Potions with Brewing Stands (for some reason) you can use Dragon Types to add in extra Blaze Powder! Every 80 Seconds they'll add the equivalent of 2 Blaze Powder to a Brewing Stand.

There's always other ways of getting Drops... other not so ethic ways. When Pokemon are defeated in Battle, either against a Pokemon or a Player (aka Killing them) they will Drop Items. Each Pokemon has different Drops, you can see these and even filter by them in the Pokedex.

Grass Types keep proving their worth, they can also Farm Berries!

Ender hoppers too expensive? Why not use magical Pokemon! Psychic Pokemon can grab Items from the ground and place them into Inventories. Except I'm pretty sure they're using their Hands which makes me confused on why any Pokemon can't just do that then!

If you have an empty Cauldron, Water Types will fill it with Water every 90 Seconds.

No more Cows... but we do have Cow like Pokemon! Just use a Bucket on a Miltank and you'll get yourself some Milk. I don't know if I would Drink it... but it is the only option here for Milk.

Amethyst can be farmed with extensive Redstone Machines... Or just with Rock Types in a Pasture!

Don't worry there are ethical ways of getting Eggs! Some 'Bird-like' Pokemon will randomly Lay Eggs while in a Pasture. Pokemon like Pidgey! You'll either want a Psychic Pokemon with them to Pickup and Store the Eggs or use a Hopper because they will just toss them around randomly.

One of the only unique Crops in Vanilla Minecraft. If you want it Farmed with Pokemon you'll need a Ghost Type to do that. Maybe the other Pokemon are too scared to pick it up because you have literal Ghosts doing it.

There are some Sheep like Pokemon. Wooloo, Dubwool, and Mareep can all be Sheared to get their Wool. Like Sheep they can also Eat Grass to regrow their Wool. Plus they can be Dyed!

If you have an empty Cauldron, Ice Types will fill it with Powdered Snow every 90 Seconds.

Now we finally know why Pokemon hide in Tall Grass, they're Farming Crops! Grass Types can automatically Harvest and replant Seeds for Crops. I'm not sure which Crops can or can't be Harvested... looks like you got to find out on your own.

Bug Pokemon can Harvest Mature Apricorns off Trees. Only if they can reach them and only normal Apricorns. Allthemodium Apricorns can't be Harvested by Pokemon.

Asks for: Black Apricorn, Blue Apricorn, Green Apricorn, Pink Apricorn, Red Apricorn, White Apricorn

Mints are useful (and difficult to find) Items in Cobblemon. Autofarming them is pretty strange, so why not just use Fairy Types!

Ever get tired of constantly Fueling up your Furnaces? Then, take your Fire Pokemon out in the Pasture and they'll give the equivalent of a Block of Coal then go on Cooldown for the same time.
