How does Hunting Dimension Reforged work?

This mod is very small in this pack. The sources only show two things you can get your hands on: the Frame block and the Hunting Dimension Portal Igniter. Nothing in them describes machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or automation for this mod, so this section sticks to what the pack's recipes show.[1][2]
The Portal Igniter
The Hunting Dimension Portal Igniter is crafted with a shapeless recipe, so its ingredient can go anywhere in the crafting grid.[2]

Frame blocks
Each craft of Frame gives you 4 blocks. The pack has several shaped recipes for it, and they differ only in which type of log or stem goes in. Every one of them makes 4 Frame.[2]

One of the Frame variants. The others swap in different log or stem types.
One Frame recipe uses the Portal Igniter itself as an ingredient, so you can turn an igniter back into Frame blocks if you need to.[2]
