FTB Echoes in FTB StoneBlock 4

FTB Echoes is part of the pack's mod list, and this pack ships version 21.1.10 of it (the file is ftb-echoes-21.1.10.jar).^[1]

It has been in the pack since 1.0.0 or earlier, so it isn't a recent addition.^[1]

Unverified What FTB Echoes actually does in this pack is not documented in the sources available for this guide, so this page doesn't describe its features, items or mechanics.

Same as in the FTB StoneBlock 4 1.21.0 guide

I can't give you a confirmed step-by-step opening for FTB Echoes in this pack yet. The only thing I could verify is the mod's text strings, and those don't say which item to make first or why.^[2]

What the mod's text tells you

• Some tooltips show a "Hold SHIFT for more..." line, so hold SHIFT when you hover over something from the mod to see extra details.^[2]
• A message reads "Too Expensive! Can't place order", so the mod has some kind of order that can be refused because of its cost.^[2]
• A tooltip reads "Already claimed allowed amount.", so there is a limit on how much you can claim.^[2]

Unverified I couldn't confirm which items to craft first, the recipes for the mod's items, how orders are placed, how the claim limit is set, or any quests that point you to this mod. Don't rely on a specific first-steps order until it is checked in-game.

Same as in the FTB StoneBlock 4 1.21.0 guide

There's no guidebook, documentation or config file for FTB Echoes that I can draw on, so I can't walk you through its machines or multiblocks. The only thing I can confirm is a handful of in-game tooltip messages, and they hint at how the mod behaves.^[2]

What the in-game text tells you

• Some tooltips end with "Hold SHIFT for more...", so extra detail is shown when you hold Shift.^[2]
• The message "Already claimed allowed amount" means there is an allowed amount that you can claim, and you can hit that limit.^[2]
• The message "Too Expensive! Can't place order" means the mod has an ordering feature, and an order is refused when it costs too much.^[2]

Unverified I couldn't confirm how orders are priced, what the claim limit is or how it resets, or whether the mod has machines, multiblocks, power, fluid or item automation. Treat all of that as unverified until it's checked in the pack.

There isn't a tier ladder to climb for this mod in the pack. What I can confirm is small: the Echo Projector block has a loot table that makes it drop itself, so you can break it and pick it up to move it somewhere else.^[3]

That loot table also has the standard survives-explosion condition, so a projector caught in an explosion isn't guaranteed to drop.^[3]
