What is NeoAuth?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 4.12 guide
NeoAuth is included in this pack at version 1.0.0, shipped as the file NeoAuth-1.21.1-1.0.0.jar. It has been in the pack since version 2.2 or earlier, so it isn't a recent addition.[1]
Unverified I couldn't confirm what NeoAuth actually does or who it's meant for. There is no description, in-jar guidebook or platform page to draw on, so I'm not going to guess at its features.
Unverified I found no quests that involve NeoAuth, and nothing shows it on the ATM Star path. Don't expect it to be part of the pack's progression.
How do you get started with NeoAuth?
3 parts
Same as in the All the Mons 1.3.0 guide
NeoAuth is a login mod, so the first steps in this pack are about signing in, not crafting. What the mod's own text shows is a set of login screens, and this section walks through them in order.[2]
Unverified The sources here do not show any NeoAuth items, recipes, quests or config files, so this section has no recipe blocks. If the pack adds any of these, they are not covered here.
Logging in step by step
- Open the Authentication button. Its tooltip greets you with a "Hello" message, so you can see which account you are on before you change anything.[2]
- On the "Pick a login method" screen, choose one of the buttons: Microsoft, Mojang (or legacy), or Offline.[2]
- For Microsoft, Ctrl + click the button if you want to choose which account to use.[2]
- Follow the Login via Microsoft screen. It asks you to check your browser, then shows its progress: Microsoft access token, Xbox access token, Xbox XSTS token, Minecraft access token, and finally your Minecraft profile.[2]
- If the link does not open on its own, use the button to copy the link to your clipboard and open it in your browser yourself. When the browser page tells you it is done, close it and go back to Minecraft.[2]
The other login methods
The Mojang (or legacy) button can show "Unavailable, click to learn more", so don't count on it. If it is available, it opens the Login via Mojang (Legacy) screen. A Re-login button is also part of the mod's screens.[2]
If something goes wrong
How does NeoAuth work?
3 parts
Same as in the All the Mons 1.3.0 guide
NeoAuth is a login mod, and the text it ships with only describes its authentication screens. That is what this section covers: how you pick a login method and what you see while it works.[2]
Authentication button and method picker
The mod adds an Authentication button. Its tooltip greets you by name with "Hello, %s!", where the name is filled in for you. There is also a Re-login button for logging in again.[2]
The next screen is titled "Pick a login method" and offers these buttons: Microsoft, Mojang (or legacy) and Offline. The Mojang button can show as unavailable, and clicking it then tells you more. On the Microsoft button, Ctrl + click lets you choose which account to use.[2]
Logging in with Microsoft
The Microsoft screen is titled "Login via Microsoft" and sends you to your browser. While it works it shows status messages for each stage: checking your browser, acquiring a Microsoft access token, an Xbox access token, an Xbox XSTS token and a Minecraft access token, and fetching your Minecraft profile.[2]
If the link doesn't open on its own, use the button that copies it to your clipboard, then open it in your browser yourself. Once the login finishes, the browser page tells you that you can close the window and return to Minecraft.[2]
Legacy Mojang login and errors
The legacy route has its own screen, titled "Login via Mojang (Legacy)".[2]
The mod shows these error messages. A generic one asks you to go back and try again. A timeout message asks the same. Another says the account has not purchased Minecraft.[2]

Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as neo_auth, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
