How does Ceramic Bucket work?
2 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2: Aero 1.10.0 guide
Ceramic Bucket is a bucket variant, so the mechanics come down to how you make it and a handful of server settings that change how it behaves. All of those settings live in [[config:config/ceramicbucket-server.toml#Balance Options.crackingTemperature]] and its neighbours in the same file.[1]
Getting a Ceramic Bucket
First you craft an Unfired Clay Bucket. Then you fire it into a Ceramic Bucket.[2]

The mod's own firing step is a smelting recipe.[2]
The pack adds a second route: you can cook the unfired bucket on a campfire instead.[2]

What the pack sets in the config
Four options control how the bucket behaves. Here is what this pack sets compared with the mod defaults.[1]
- [[config:config/ceramicbucket-server.toml#Balance Options.fishObtainingEnabled]] is false in this pack. The mod default is true, so the pack turns off obtaining fish with a Ceramic Bucket.[1][3]
- [[config:config/ceramicbucket-server.toml#Balance Options.milkingEnabled]] is true, which matches the mod default, so you can still milk entities with the bucket.[1][3]
- [[config:config/ceramicbucket-server.toml#Balance Options.durability]] is 0, the same as the mod default. A value of 0 deactivates durability, so the bucket does not wear out from use. The allowed range is 0 to 10,000.[1][3]
- [[config:config/ceramicbucket-server.toml#Balance Options.crackingTemperature]] is 1,000, also the mod default. This is the minimum fluid temperature at which the bucket breaks when you empty it. The allowed range is -10,000 to 10,000.[1][3]
Which Ceramic Bucket config options matter?
2 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide
The Ceramic Bucket's server config has a handful of options, all under Balance Options. Only one differs from the mod default in this pack, and it's the one most likely to catch you out: fishing with the bucket is switched off.[4]
The value this pack changed
- [[config:config/ceramicbucket-server.toml#Balance Options.fishObtainingEnabled]] is set to false in this pack, while the mod default is true. You can't scoop up fish with a Ceramic Bucket here.[4]
Options left at the mod default
- [[config:config/ceramicbucket-server.toml#Balance Options.milkingEnabled]] is true, the same as the mod default, so you can still milk entities with the Ceramic Bucket.[4]
- [[config:config/ceramicbucket-server.toml#Balance Options.durability]] is 0, the same as the mod default. A value of 0 turns durability off, so the bucket doesn't wear out from use. The allowed range is 0 to 10,000.[4]
- [[config:config/ceramicbucket-server.toml#Balance Options.crackingTemperature]] is 1000, the same as the mod default. This is the minimum fluid temperature at which the bucket breaks when you empty it. The allowed range is -10,000 to 10,000.[4]
