What is FTB Pause Menu API?
This pack ships FTB Pause Menu API at version 21.1.3, in the file ftb-pause-menu-api-21.1.3.jar. It has been in the pack since this version or earlier.[1]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what this mod does or who it is for. Going by the name, it relates to the pause menu, but that is unconfirmed. I also have no confirmed config options, recipes or quests for it, and no confirmed place for it in the pack's progression or on the ATM Star path.
How do you get started with FTB Pause Menu API?
There is no crafting order to follow for this mod. The only material the sources show for it is a pair of support tooltips, and no items to make early on.[2]
One tooltip says "Need help? Join our Discord server!" and the other says "Found a bug? Report it on GitHub!" So if you get stuck or run into a problem, those are the places the mod points you to.[2]
Unverified The sources here do not show any recipes for this mod's items, and no quest chapter in the pack's quest book is shown to involve it. That means there are no recipe blocks or first-step items to list in this section.
How does FTB Pause Menu API work?
4 parts
FTB Pause Menu API doesn't add machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation. The sources I have describe only a client config file and two tooltip strings, so this section covers how the mod behaves through its settings in this pack.[2][3]
Master switch
Everything hangs off enabled, which controls the Pause Menu API as a whole. In this pack it is set to true, so the API is active.[3]
Built-in features
- builtInFeatures.enableSupportLinks turns on the built-in support links on the main menu. This pack has it set to true.[3]
- builtInFeatures.enableGoToOriginal controls the Go To Original button on the main menu. This pack has it set to false, so that button is switched off.[3]
Support links
The support links come with two tooltips. The Discord button says "Need help? Join our Discord server!" and the GitHub button says "Found a bug? Report it on GitHub!".[2]
The links they open are set with supportLinks.discordLink and supportLinks.githubLink. In this pack both are empty strings.[3]
Unverified What the support buttons do when their link is left empty is not covered by the available sources.
Stock pause menu buttons
The mod can also remove buttons from the vanilla pause menu. removeButtons.removeAdvancementsButton hides the Advancements button and removeButtons.removeStatsButton hides the Stats button. In this pack both are false, so both buttons stay.[3]
Which FTB Pause Menu API config options matter?
3 parts
Everything for this mod lives in one file, config/ftbpmapi-client.toml. It's a small file, so you can check every option in a minute. Here's how the pack sets each one.[3]
Master switch and built-in features
- enabled is set to true, so the Pause Menu API is switched on. It's the master toggle for the mod's menu features.[3]
- builtInFeatures.enableGoToOriginal is set to false, so the Go To Original button on the main menu is turned off in this pack.[3]
- builtInFeatures.enableSupportLinks is set to true, so the built-in support links on the main menu are enabled.[3]
Stock pause menu buttons
- removeButtons.removeAdvancementsButton is false, so the Advancements button stays on the pause menu.[3]
- removeButtons.removeStatsButton is false, so the Stats button stays too.[3]
If you want a cleaner pause screen, set either of these to true and the matching button is removed.[3]
Support link addresses
- supportLinks.discordLink is an empty string in this pack. It's the address the Discord button opens.[3]
- supportLinks.githubLink is also empty. It's the address the GitHub button opens.[3]
If you run your own server or fork of the pack, these two options are where you'd put your own community links.[3]
Unverified The pack's file doesn't say which of these values differ from the mod's own defaults, so I can't tell you which ones the pack changed.

Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as ftbpmapi, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
