What is Cloud Glass?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Cloud Glass is part of the pack's mod list. This pack ships version 1.0.2, built for Minecraft 1.21.1 (file CloudGlass-1.21.1-1.0.2.jar).[1]
It isn't a new addition. It was already in the pack in version 2.25 or earlier, so it has been around for a while.[1]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what Cloud Glass adds, who it suits, or how it fits into the pack's progression. I have no in-jar guidebook, platform description or pack changes for it, so I'm not guessing at its blocks or items. I also have no confirmed recipes, configs or quests for it, and nothing placing it on the ATM Star path.
How do you get started with Cloud Glass?
1 part
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Cloud Glass is all about crafting colored glass blocks in this pack. Every color has its own recipe, so your first steps are simply picking the colors you want and making them.[2]
Your first crafts, in order
- Start with White Cloud Glass. It is the one color with no dye recipe, and every dye recipe for the other colors builds on it, so it is the natural first craft.[2]
- Next, craft the colors you want directly. Each color has a standard recipe, for example Blue Cloud Glass and Red Cloud Glass. These recipes use wool of the matching color.[2]
- If you would rather use dye, every color except white also has a second recipe whose id ends in _from_dye. It starts from White Cloud Glass instead of colored wool.[2]
Here is the White Cloud Glass recipe exactly as it appears in the pack:[2]

And here is the dye route, using Black Cloud Glass as the example. The other colored variants follow the same pattern with their own dye.[2]

How does Cloud Glass work?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.2 guide
If you were expecting a big setup, good news: Cloud Glass is a purely block-based mod in this pack. The sources only show decorative blocks, their drops and their crafting recipes. They show no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation to learn here.[3][4]
What you get
The mod adds a full set of colour variants, from White Cloud Glass and Light Gray Cloud Glass through Blue Cloud Glass and Red Cloud Glass to Black Cloud Glass. Each one is a separate block with its own name.[3]
Breaking and drops
Black, blue, brown, cyan, gray, green, light blue and light gray Cloud Glass each use a simple loot table: the block drops itself, with a single roll and no bonus rolls. The only condition is the standard one that the block has to survive an explosion. So you can break a block, pick it up and place it somewhere else.[5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12]
Lime, magenta, orange, pink, purple, red, white and yellow Cloud Glass use the same kind of loot table: a single roll, no bonus rolls, the block drops itself, and it has to survive an explosion to do so.[13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20]
Crafting
In this pack the coloured Cloud Glass blocks are made with shaped crafting. Each colour listed in the recipe dump has a direct recipe, and many colours also have a second recipe whose id ends in from_dye. Here is the black variant as an example of each.[4]
Crafting Shaped

The direct recipe. The other colours follow the same pattern with their matching wool.

Recipe id: cloudglass:black_cloud_glass_from_dye
The dye route, shown here for black. Other colours follow the same pattern with their matching dye.
The recipe dump has one more recipe that it does not show, so check the recipe viewer in game if you need an exact answer for a particular colour.[4]
What the sources don't cover
Unverified The sources here show no in-jar guidebook and no config files for Cloud Glass in this pack, so any special behaviour beyond the drops and recipes above is not confirmed.
How do you progress through Cloud Glass?
3 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.2 guide
Cloud Glass is a set of coloured glass blocks. The sources for this pack show crafting recipes for every colour, so progression here is simply making your first block and then recolouring it however you like.[4]
Step 1: your first Cloud Glass
White Cloud Glass is the entry point. It is the only colour with no dye recipe, so you craft this one first.[4]
Crafting Shaped
| Empty slot | Empty slot | |
| any colorless glass blocks | ||
| Empty slot | Empty slot |
Recipe id: cloudglass:white_cloud_glass
Step 2: pick your colour
Every other colour can be crafted in a direct colour recipe, and also in an alternative dye recipe whose id ends in "_from_dye". You can use whichever is easier for you. Here is Black Cloud Glass as an example of both.[4]
Crafting Shaped
| Empty slot | Empty slot | |

Recipe id: cloudglass:black_cloud_glass_from_dye
The same pair of recipes exists for Red Cloud Glass, Blue Cloud Glass, Green Cloud Glass, Yellow Cloud Glass, Orange Cloud Glass, Pink Cloud Glass, Purple Cloud Glass, Magenta Cloud Glass, Lime Cloud Glass, Cyan Cloud Glass, Light Blue Cloud Glass, Brown Cloud Glass, Gray Cloud Glass and Light Gray Cloud Glass.[4]
Placing and breaking
The block loot tables for black, blue, brown, cyan, gray, green, light blue and light gray Cloud Glass each drop the block itself, with a condition that the block survives explosions.[5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12]
The loot tables for lime, magenta, orange, pink, purple, red and white Cloud Glass follow the same pattern: they drop the block itself, as long as it survives an explosion.[13][14][15][16][17][18][19]
