What is TexTrue's Rubidium Options?
2 parts
TexTrue's Rubidium Options (TRO for short) is an unofficial Forge port fork of FlashyReese's Reese's Sodium Options. It has the same functionality as the original, but it is built to work with Rubidium.[1]
This pack ships version 1.0.8-mc1.18.2 of the mod, in the file TextruesRubidiumOptions-1.0.8-mc1.18.2.jar.[2]
Who it is for
It is for setups that run Rubidium. The author also says Magnesium may work, but that is untested. It is not compatible with Embeddium, and anyone on Embeddium is pointed to the author's separate Embeddium Options mod instead.[1]
If you hit a problem with this port, don't report it to the official Reese's Sodium Options GitHub. The author asks that TRO's issues stay separate from the original mod's.[1]
Known issues worth knowing
- Rubidium Extra can't detect that this mod is installed, so it may still pop up suggestions. The author lists this for Rubidium Extra versions older than 1.18.2-0.4.9.26 on 1.18.2 (and the matching cutoffs for other Minecraft versions).[1]
- TRO 1.0.1-mc1.20.1 and above only support Rubidium 0.7.x and above. That note is about the 1.20.1 builds, not the 1.18.2 build this pack uses.[1]
Unverified The sources don't show which Rubidium or Rubidium Extra versions this pack ships, so whether the Rubidium Extra popup issue affects you here is unconfirmed. They also show no quests, no ATM Star path step and no in-jar guidebook for this mod, so it has no confirmed place in the pack's progression.
How do you get started with TexTrue's Rubidium Options?
1 part
Good news: there's nothing to craft here. TexTrue's Rubidium Options is an unofficial Forge port of Reese's Sodium Options, made to work with Rubidium. It has the same functionality as Reese's Sodium Options.[1]
As far as the sources show, no quests in this pack involve the mod and no recipes produce its items. So there's no first item to make and no recipe block to show. It's a settings add-on rather than a gameplay mod.[1]
What to know before you start
- The mod is built for Rubidium. Magnesium may also work, but that hasn't been tested.[1]
- It is not compatible with Embeddium. If you're on Embeddium, the project page points you to TexTrue's Embeddium Options instead.[1]
- Version matters. TRO 1.0.1-mc1.20.1 and above only support Rubidium 0.7.x and above, while the 1.0.0+XXHX builds only support Rubidium 0.6.5.[1]
Unverified Where the options screen appears in the pack's menus, and what the pack's default settings are, can't be confirmed from the available sources. The mod has no in-jar guide or documented config options to check.
How does TexTrue's Rubidium Options work?
2 parts
This one is different from most mods in the guide: there are no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation to learn. The sources describe TexTrue's Rubidium Options (TRO) as an unofficial Forge port fork of Reese's Sodium Options, made to work with Rubidium. It has the same functionality as Reese's Sodium Options.[1]
What the mod does
TRO is built for Rubidium. The project page says Magnesium may also work, but that this was not tested. It is not compatible with Embeddium, and for Embeddium the page points you to a separate mod, TexTrue's Embeddium Options.[1]
Version and compatibility notes
- TRO 1.0.1-mc1.20.1 and above only support Rubidium 0.7.x and above. The 1.0.0 builds only support Rubidium 0.6.5.[1]
- Rubidium Extra cannot detect that TRO is installed, so it may still pop up suggestions. This is listed for Rubidium Extra versions older than 1.16.5-0.4.8.28, 1.18.2-0.4.9.26 and 1.19.2-0.4.7.27.[1]
Unverified The sources give no further detail on how the mod works internally. The pack has no config files for it, no recipes produce its items, and there is no guidebook or in-game description to draw on. Anything beyond the points above is unconfirmed.
What changed in TexTrue's Rubidium Options between versions?
All the Mods - Gravitas 4.0 includes TexTrue's Rubidium Options 1.0.8-mc1.18.2. The pack's mod list says it was first included in Gravitas 4.0 or an earlier release, so it can't tell you exactly when it arrived.[2]
The mod's own changelog for 1.0.8-mc1.18.2 is the only changelog I was given, and it has no readable entries, so I can't list what changed in that version.[3]
Unverified No pack changelog entries mention this mod, so any changes to it between pack releases are unverified.

Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as reeses_sodium_options, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
