UI Library Mod in All the Mods 10

UI Library Mod is part of this pack's mod list. The pack ships version 1.0.212-1.21.1-snapshot, in the file blockui-1.0.212-1.21.1-snapshot.jar.^[1]

It isn't a new addition. It was first included in version 0.57 of the pack or earlier, so it has been in the pack for a long time.^[1]

Unverified The sources don't describe what UI Library Mod does in detail, so this guide doesn't make claims about its features or in-game behaviour.

Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide

The sources here show very little about this mod, so this section is short. What they confirm is tooltip text: a line telling you to hold a key to show additional information, and a label that introduces a list of BlockState properties.^[2]

If you hover over something and see that extra-information hint or a BlockState properties list, that text comes from this mod's translations.^[2]

Unverified The sources here show no recipes that produce this mod's items, no quests in this pack that involve it, and no in-jar guidebook or reusable documentation for it. Which key the extra-information tooltip uses and which items show these tooltips are not shown either, so I have left them out.

UI Library Mod (namespace blockui) is only documented here by its own language file and one data file from its jar, so this section stays short. Those files cover tooltip text and a block entity type tag.^[2][3]

Tooltip text

The mod's language file has a tooltip string that reads "Hold %s to show additional information", where the game fills in the key name. It also has a label reading "BlockState properties:". Together they point to tooltips that can show extra detail, including a list of BlockState properties.^[2]

The container GUI tag

The mod ships a block entity type tag called container_gui. It does not replace any existing entries, and it lists these vanilla block entity types: barrel, blast furnace, brewing stand, dispenser, dropper, ender chest, furnace, hopper, chest, shulker box, smoker and trapped chest.^[3]

This mod is a UI library, so it doesn't add a tier ladder for you to climb. The one thing the sources show is a data tag in the mod's own jar, called container_gui, under the blockui namespace.^[3]

The tag is a list of block entity types. It is set to add to other tags rather than replace them, and every entry in it comes from vanilla Minecraft:^[3]

• Storage: barrel, chest, trapped chest, ender chest and shulker box.^[3]
• Cooking and smelting: furnace, blast furnace and smoker.^[3]
• Other: brewing stand, dispenser, dropper and hopper.^[3]

Unverified The sources here show no quests and no crafting recipes that involve this mod, so there are no pack tiers or quest steps to list. If you want to check for yourself, look through the pack's quest book.

All the Mods 10 8.2 ships UI Library Mod 1.0.212-1.21.1-snapshot. The mod has been in the pack since 0.57 or earlier. The pack changelogs only record version bumps for it, so this is a timeline of which build each release shipped.^[1]

Updates by pack release

• 2.31: 1.0.192-1.21.1-snapshot to 1.0.194-1.21.1-snapshot.^[4]
• 2.32: 1.0.194-1.21.1-snapshot to 1.0.195-1.21.1-snapshot.^[5]
• 2.42: 1.0.195-1.21.1-snapshot to 1.0.199-1.21.1-snapshot.^[6]
• 3.2: 1.0.199-1.21.1-snapshot to 1.0.200-1.21.1-snapshot.^[7]
• 4.0: 1.0.200-1.21.1-snapshot to 1.0.205-1.21.1.^[8]
• 4.6: 1.0.205-1.21.1 to 1.0.204-1.21.1-snapshot. This one stepped back to a lower build number.^[9]
• 4.12: 1.0.204-1.21.1-snapshot to 1.0.206-1.21.1-snapshot.^[10]

• 8.2: 1.0.211-1.21.1-snapshot to 1.0.212-1.21.1-snapshot.^[14]

Most builds in this list carry the snapshot tag. Only 1.0.205-1.21.1 (pack 4.0) and 1.0.209-1.21.1 (pack 5.5) appear without it.^[8][11]

Unverified What each of these updates changed inside the mod itself is unconfirmed, because no mod changelogs are stored for the shipped jars.
