What is Charging Gadgets?
Charging Gadgets is included in the pack at version 1.14.1. It has been in the pack since version 2.2 or earlier, so it's a long-standing part of the mod list.[1]
The only place the pack's quest book mentions it is the "tips_and_tricks" chapter. There, the quest a quest in "?" has a single task: obtain the Charging Station. The pack treats the Charging Station as the mod's main item to know about.[2]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what the Charging Station does, how it is crafted in this pack, or what its config options are. I also can't confirm where it fits in the pack's progression, or whether it is on the ATM Star path. Check the quest in game for the details.
How do you get started with Charging Gadgets?
2 parts
Your first stop with Charging Gadgets is the Charging Station. It is the one item from this mod that the pack's recipe dump and quest book point to, so everything in this section starts there.[2][3]
Step 1: Craft the Charging Station
The Charging Station uses a shaped crafting recipe. Its ingredients are given as tags (redstone dust, lapis gem, iron ingot and coal storage block), so any item in those tags works. The block below shows the exact recipe used in this pack.[3]
Crafting Shaped
| any iron ingot | any redstone dust | any iron ingot |
| any lapi gems | any redstone dust | any lapi gems |
| any iron ingot | any coal storage block | any iron ingot |
Recipe id: charginggadgets:charging_station
This is the in-pack shaped recipe for the Charging Station, and it accepts any item from the listed tags.
Step 2: Check the quest
The pack's quest book has a quest, a quest in "?", in the "tips_and_tricks" chapter. It is untitled, and its task lists the Charging Station.[2]
Unverified The sources here do not show what the Charging Station does, how it is powered, or which other Charging Gadgets items to make next. No in-jar guidebook or item descriptions were found for this mod, so check the item in game before you plan a build around it.
How does Charging Gadgets work?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
The only thing the pack's data confirms about Charging Gadgets is the Charging Station, so this section stays short. It is made with a shaped crafting recipe, and the recipe dump lists it as a mod recipe.[4]
Crafting Shaped
| any iron ingot | any redstone dust | any iron ingot |
| any lapi gems | any redstone dust | any lapi gems |
| any iron ingot | any coal storage block | any iron ingot |
Recipe id: charginggadgets:charging_station
This is the in-pack shaped crafting recipe for the Charging Station, and it is listed as a mod recipe.
The recipe takes tag-based inputs rather than fixed items, so any item that carries the matching tag can go in that slot, whichever mod it comes from.[4]
Unverified The sources here do not show how the Charging Station works in this pack: what it uses as fuel, how fast it generates or transfers energy, which items it can charge, its inventory slots, or how it connects to pipes, hoppers or other automation. The pack has no config files for this mod, and there is no guidebook or tooltip text to read, so none of those details are confirmed.
How do you progress through Charging Gadgets?
2 parts
Charging Gadgets does not have a tier ladder in this pack. The pack data shows a single entry point: the Charging Station. Everything in this section follows from that one item.[2][3]
Step 1: Craft the Charging Station
The Charging Station is made with a standard shaped crafting recipe, and it is the only Charging Gadgets item that has a recipe in the pack's recipe dump. The exact in-pack recipe is below.[3]
Crafting Shaped
| any iron ingot | any redstone dust | any iron ingot |
| any lapi gems | any redstone dust | any lapi gems |
| any iron ingot | any coal storage block | any iron ingot |
Recipe id: charginggadgets:charging_station
This is the shaped crafting recipe the pack uses for the Charging Station.
Step 2: The quest
The pack's quest book places this mod in the tips_and_tricks chapter. The quest a quest in "?" has no title, and its only task is the Charging Station.[2]
Which All the Mods 10 quests use Charging Gadgets?
Charging Gadgets shows up in just one quest chapter in this pack: "tips_and_tricks". There's only a single quest there that involves the mod, so there's no chain or order to follow.[2]
The quest a quest in "?" has no title in the quest book. Its task is to submit a Charging Station. The sources don't list any rewards or prerequisites for it, so I can't tell you what you get or what you need to unlock it.[2]
Unverified Rewards and prerequisites for this quest aren't shown in the available data, so they are unconfirmed.
