AE2:Crafting Tree in All the Mods 10

AE2:Crafting Tree is included in this pack as version 1.21.1-1.1.1, shipped as the file ae2ct-1.21.1-1.1.1.jar. It has been part of the pack since version 2.25 or earlier, so it isn't a recent addition.^[1]

Unverified The sources I have don't describe what AE2:Crafting Tree actually does, who it's best suited to, or any recipes, configs or items it adds, so I'm not going to guess. There is also no in-jar guidebook to draw on.

Unverified Where the mod fits in the pack's progression is unconfirmed. No quests in this pack involve it, and it does not appear on the ATM Star quest path, so you won't be pushed toward it by the questbook.

This one is a short section, because the pack gives us very little to go on for this mod. There are no quests for it, no in-pack recipes for its items and no config files, so I can't give you a crafting order or a first item to make. I won't guess at one.^[2]

What you will see in the screen

What the mod's own text does tell us is what its screen looks like. It is titled "Crafting Tree" and has a "Show Crafting Tree" option. The tree uses a handful of labels to describe each step: "need", "use", "missing", "stored" and "crafting", each followed by an amount.^[2]

• "Show Missing Only" is a toggle in the screen, so you can cut the tree down to the parts that are missing.^[2]
• "show missing only by default" is a setting that makes that view the starting one.^[2]
• "use compact crafting tree (beta)" is a setting for a more compact layout, and the mod labels it beta.^[2]
• "Screenshot" is a button, and "screenshot show count" is a checkbox that controls whether counts appear in the screenshot.^[2]

Unverified How you open the Crafting Tree screen in this pack, and which items or blocks you need first, could not be confirmed from the available sources.

The only thing the sources tell us about AE2:Crafting Tree is the text it shows on screen. That's enough to see what the interface offers, but not enough to explain how it works under the hood, so this section stays short.^[2]

What the screen shows

The mod's screen is titled "Crafting Tree", and there is a "Show Crafting Tree" label for bringing it up. It also has a separate "Setting" screen for its options.^[2]

Each entry in the tree can display amounts, each with its own label. Each label has a number filled in after it.^[2]

• "need" is the input amount.^[2]
• "use" is the amount taken from what's already available (the mod calls this the midden amount).^[2]
• "missing" is the amount you don't have.^[2]
• "stored" is the amount that's stored.^[2]
• "crafting" is the amount being crafted. The mod has two such labels, one for the crafting amount and one for the output amount.^[2]

There is also an "Info:" label in the interface.^[2]

Options you can toggle

• "Show Missing Only" is a toggle on the tree screen, so you can focus on what you're short of.^[2]
• "show missing only by default" is a setting for making that filter the starting view.^[2]
• "use compact crafting tree (beta)" switches to a more compact layout. The mod labels it beta, so expect rough edges.^[2]
• "Screenshot" is a button, and "screenshot show count" is a checkbox that controls whether counts appear in it.^[2]

Unverified How you open the crafting tree, how the amounts are calculated, and where these settings are stored are not explained in the available sources. The pack has no config files for this mod.

All the Mods 10 8.1 ships AE2:Crafting Tree 1.21.1-1.1.1, using the file ae2ct-1.21.1-1.1.1.jar. The mod has been in the pack since All the Mods 10 2.25 or earlier, so it has been around for a good while.^[1]

Pack releases that updated the mod

These are the version bumps recorded in the pack changelogs, oldest first:^[3][4][5]

• All the Mods 10 2.42: updated from 1.21.1-1.0.5 to 1.21.1-1.0.6.^[3]
• All the Mods 10 4.2: updated from 1.21.1-1.0.6 to 1.21.1-1.1.0.^[4]
• All the Mods 10 4.15: updated from 1.21.1-1.1.0 to 1.21.1-1.1.1, the version you have in 8.1.^[1][5]

Unverified The sources don't say what changed inside the mod in any of these updates, because no changelogs are stored for the shipped jars. Treat the list above as version bumps only. Any new features or fixes in 1.0.6, 1.1.0 or 1.1.1 are unconfirmed, as are any changes the pack made to the mod's recipes or config.
