Ender IO
38 quests, with the items each asks for and where they come from in All the Mods 10: To the Sky.
- Grains of Infinity (A spark of Bedrock's power)
We begin our journey into Ender IO by tracking down a strange, glowing material. Grains of Infinity are obtained by setting Bedrock or Obsidian 1x on fire. Igniting a bedrock block has a small chance of making it drop this item. Sieving Dust can also drop this item. Tip: We only need a handful of these to get started, since they are the seed for almost every basic Ender IO recipe, including the humble Alloy Smelter.
Asks for:Grains of Infinity
- Basic Capacitor (The heart of every machine)
Nearly every Ender IO machine needs a capacitor installed to store and use µI energy. The Basic Capacitor is our starting option, made from Energetic Alloy. Without one, our machines simply won't turn on.
Needs: Grains of InfinityAsks for:Basic Capacitor
- Void Chassis (The frame behind our machines)
The Void Chassis is the base frame used to craft most of Ender IO's early and mid-tier machines, from generators to processing machines. We'll be crafting quite a few of these as our base grows, so it's worth stockpiling Dark Steel Ingots for it.
Needs: Grains of InfinityAsks for:Void Chassis
- Wireless Charger (Charging us without a cable)
The Wireless Charger recharges any RF-powered tool, armor piece or item we are holding or wearing, as long as we stand nearby. It's a comfortable way to keep our capacitor-powered gear topped up without plugging anything in manually.
Needs: Void ChassisAsks for:Wireless Charger
- SAG Mill (Grinding ores into extra riches)
The SAG Mill grinds ores and other items into their crushed or dust form using µI, often giving us bonus outputs compared to a normal furnace or crafting recipe. By placing Grinding Balls in its upgrade slot, we can boost its speed, efficiency, and even the chance to double our output. Tip: Grinding raw ores here instead of smelting them directly usually gives us more ingots per ore in the long run.
Needs: Void ChassisAsks for:Conductive Alloy Grinding Ball,
Dark Steel Grinding Ball,
End Steel Grinding Ball,
Energetic Alloy Grinding Ball,
Pulsating Alloy Grinding Ball,
Redstone Alloy Grinding Ball
- Crafter (Automating our crafting table)
The Crafter automatically crafts any recipe we set inside it, as long as it receives the right ingredients through conduits or hoppers. It's the backbone of automated factories, letting us mass-produce items without ever touching a crafting table again.
Needs: Void ChassisAsks for:Crafter
- Painting Machine (Reskinning our blocks in bulk)
The Painting Machine applies a facade texture to blocks automatically, letting us reskin large batches of building blocks without placing them by hand. Tip: Feed it the blocks we want to disguise plus the block we want them to look like, and let it work through the whole stack for us.
Needs: Void ChassisAsks for:Painting Machine
- Stirling Generator (Our first source of power)
The Stirling Generator burns solid fuels, like coal or charcoal, to produce µI energy for our machines. It's simple, reliable, and a perfect way to get our very first Ender IO setup running before we move to bigger generators.
Needs: Void ChassisAsks for:Stirling Generator
- Wired Charger (Plugging our gear straight in)
The Wired Charger recharges any RF-powered item placed inside it, connected directly to our energy network through conduits. It's a great companion to the Wireless Charger for setups where we want to leave tools charging while we do something else.
Needs: Void ChassisAsks for:Wired Charger
- Drain (Milking fluids from nearby mobs)
The Drain automatically collects fluids dropped by nearby entities, such as milk from cows, straight into an attached tank. It's a handy way to automate fluid collection without needing to manually interact with animals.
Needs: Void ChassisAsks for:Drain
- Alloy Smelter (Our first true machine)
With our Grains of Infinity in hand, we can finally build the Alloy Smelter, the heart of early Ender IO progression. This machine uses Micro Infinity (µI), Ender IO's own form of energy, to smelt ores like a furnace and to forge special alloys such as Dark Steel. Note: We need at least a Basic Capacitor installed before it will turn on, so let's not forget that piece!
Needs: Void ChassisAsks for:Alloy Smelter
- Soularium Ingot (Gold bound with a tortured soul)
Soularium is forged from Gold and Soul Sand in the Alloy Smelter. It's the material behind Soul Vials and every machine that deals with capturing and binding souls, like the Soul Binder.
Needs: Alloy SmelterAsks for:Soularium Ingot
- Conductive Alloy Ingot (Gold, redstone and glowstone combined)
The Conductive Alloy is forged in the Alloy Smelter from Gold, Redstone and Glowstone Dust. We will use it to craft advanced energy conduits, along with several grinding balls and mid-tier machines.
Needs: Alloy SmelterAsks for:Conductive Alloy Ingot
- Dark Steel Ingot (Forged from iron, coal and obsidian)
Dark Steel is one of the most important alloys we will craft in Ender IO. We make it in the Alloy Smelter by combining Iron, Coal Powder and Obsidian. Tip: This ingot is the backbone of Dark Steel tools, armor and several advanced machines, so we should always keep a stock of it.
Needs: Alloy SmelterAsks for:Dark Steel Ingot
- Dark Steel Sword (A blade that grows with us)
Crafted from Dark Steel Ingots, this sword has much more limited functionality than from its prime. Currently, it is only useful for beheading mobs, at a 7% chance.
Needs: Dark Steel IngotAsks for:The Ender
- Yeta Wrench & Conduits (Our multi-tool for machines and conduits)
The Yeta Wrench is our go-to tool for interacting with Ender IO blocks: right-click to rotate machines, or sneak-right-click to pick them up without losing their inventory or upgrades. It's also essential to configure conduits, letting us set input/output sides and colors so items, energy and fluids flow exactly where we want.
Needs: Alloy SmelterAsks for:Conduit Bundle,
Yeta Wrench
- Enchanter (Applying enchantments to books)
The Enchanter lets us apply Enchantments to Books without dealing with the randomness of the Enchanting Table. It's especially useful for stacking enchantments onto our Dark Steel or Ender tools and weapons.
Needs: Dark Steel IngotAsks for:Enchanter
- Conduit Facade (Hiding our conduits in plain sight)
Once our base is covered in conduits, things can get messy. The Conduit Facade lets us disguise any conduit bundle as any block we choose. Tip: Simply place the facade on a conduit and it will visually blend in with our builds while still working perfectly underneath.
Needs: Alloy SmelterAsks for:Conduit Facade
- Energetic Alloy Ingot (Redstone, glowstone and gold)
The Energetic Alloy combines Redstone, Glowstone Dust and Gold in the Alloy Smelter. It's the base component of our Capacitors, so we will be crafting a lot of it to keep our machines powered.
Needs: Alloy SmelterAsks for:Energetic Alloy Ingot
- Electromagnet (Attracting metal from a distance)
The Electromagnet is crafted from Conductive Alloy and Energetic Alloy. It's mainly used as a crafting component for advanced Ender IO machinery and items that need to attract or handle metallic materials.
Needs: Conductive Alloy Ingot, Energetic Alloy IngotAsks for:Electromagnet
- Double Layer Capacitor (More power, more speed)
Upgrading to the Double Layer Capacitor gives our machines more energy storage and a faster processing speed. We craft it from Energetic Alloy and a Basic Capacitor, making it a natural next step once our power generation grows.
Needs: Energetic Alloy Ingot, Basic CapacitorAsks for:Double-Layer Capacitor
- Vibrant Alloy Ingot (Energetic Alloy touched by Ender magic)
By combining Energetic Alloy with an Ender Pearl in the Alloy Smelter, we create the Vibrant Alloy. This alloy powers our best capacitors and several late-game machines, so it's well worth the extra Ender Pearls.
Needs: Alloy SmelterAsks for:Vibrant Alloy Ingot
- Octadic Capacitor (Our best capacitor tier)
The Octadic Capacitor is the strongest capacitor we can craft, combining Vibrant Alloy with a Double Layer Capacitor. Machines fitted with it reach their maximum speed and energy buffer, perfect for our late-game builds.
Needs: Vibrant Alloy Ingot, Double Layer CapacitorAsks for:Octadic Capacitor
- Vat (Fermenting our way to Dew of the Void)
The Vat ferments organic materials, like Grains of the End, into special fluids such as Dew of the Void over time. We should keep it supplied with the right ingredients and be patient, since fermentation isn't instant.
Needs: Void ChassisAsks for:VAT
- Basic Capacitor Bank (Our first battery)
The Basic Capacitor Bank stores µI energy for later use, working like a battery for our base. It can also recharge tools and armor placed in its inventory, and it's built using Basic Capacitors.
Needs: Basic CapacitorAsks for:Basic Capacitor Bank
- Advanced Capacitor Bank (Bigger buffer, faster charge)
Upgrading our battery to the Advanced Capacitor Bank increases both its energy capacity and how fast it can charge our tools. We build it from a Basic Capacitor Bank and Double Layer Capacitors.
Needs: Basic Capacitor Bank, Double Layer CapacitorAsks for:Advanced Capacitor Bank
- Vibrant Capacitor Bank (The ultimate energy storage)
The Vibrant Capacitor Bank is the final tier of our energy storage, holding a massive amount of µI. We need an Advanced Capacitor Bank and Octadic Capacitors to build it, so it's a great long-term goal for our power grid.
Needs: Advanced Capacitor Bank, Octadic CapacitorAsks for:Vibrant Capacitor Bank
- Impulse Hopper (Sucking up items and XP from the ground)
The Impulse Hopper pulls nearby dropped items and experience orbs straight into its inventory, working like a vacuum for our farms and grinders. We can pair it with an item conduit to move everything it collects straight into our storage system.
Needs: Void ChassisAsks for:Impulse Hopper
- XP Vacuum & Vacuum Chest (Never leave loot behind again)
The XP Vacuum is a wearable upgrade that pulls nearby experience orbs straight into our XP bar as we walk around. The Vacuum Chest does the same for dropped items, sucking them into its inventory so we never lose loot from a big mob farm again.
Needs: Alloy SmelterAsks for:Vacuum Chest,
XP Vacuum
- Soularium Nugget (A tiny piece of bound gold)
Crafted, or crushed down, from a Soularium Ingot, this nugget is used in a few recipes that only need a small amount of the material. Keeping a stack of nuggets around saves us from breaking full ingots for minor crafts.
Needs: Soularium IngotAsks for:Soularium Nugget
- Soul Chain (Forged from Soularium)
The Soul Chain is crafted from Soularium and used as a component in soul-related machines and equipment. It represents the more mystical, Ender-infused side of Ender IO's crafting tree.
Needs: Soularium Ingot, Soularium NuggetAsks for:Soul Chain
- Ensouled Chassis (A frame bound with a soul)
The Ensouled Chassis upgrades the basic Void Chassis using a Soul Chain, giving it a touch of soul-bound magic. It's required to craft some of Ender IO's more advanced, soul-themed machines, continuing our journey deeper into the mod's Ender lore.
Needs: Soul ChainAsks for:Ensouled Chassis
- Soul Binder (Where power meets liquid experience)
The Soul Binder consumes µI energy and liquid XP to craft special items, such as binding a filled Soul Vial to a Broken Spawner. We can fill it with experience using an Experience Rod, or by piping Liquid XP into it with a fluid conduit.
Needs: Soularium Ingot, Ensouled ChassisAsks for:Soul Binder,
Soul Vial
- Powered Spawner (Turning any mob spawner to our will)
We start with a Broken Spawner, then use a Soul Vial containing the mob we want inside a Soul Binder to bind that soul to it. Once combined with a Powered Spawner casing, we get a fully working spawner for that mob, powered by µI instead of a nearby player. Note: We used an Allay for this quest, but almost any mob can be captured with a Soul Vial.
Needs: Soularium Ingot, Ensouled ChassisAsks for:Broken Spawner,
Powered Spawner
- Slice'N'Splice (Merging enchantments and repairing tools)
The Slice'N'Splice combines two enchanted items into one, merging their enchantments much like a vanilla anvil, but powered by µI. We can also use it to repair our tools and armor without needing matching materials, which saves us a lot of resources over time.
Needs: Soularium Ingot, Ensouled ChassisAsks for:Slice'N'Splice
- Ender Crystal (A crystallized fragment of the End)
The Ender Crystal is crafted in the Soul Binder using a Soul Vial filled with an Enderman. It's a key crafting component for some of Ender IO's most advanced items, tied deeply to the mod's Ender-themed magic.
Needs: Soul BinderAsks for:Ender Crystal
- Staff of Travelling (Teleport between our Travel Anchors)
The Staff of Travelling lets us instantly teleport between Travel Anchors we've placed around the world, as long as we have enough XP to fuel the jump. We should place a Travel Anchor at our base and at any far-away outpost to make exploring, and coming home, painless.
Needs: Ender CrystalAsks for:Staff of Travelling,
Travel Anchor
- Staff of Levity (Fall gently, jump higher)
The Staff of Levity protects us from fall damage and lets us glide gently to the ground while it's charged, consuming XP with each use. Tip: It's a lifesaver when we're exploring tall structures or building bridges high in the sky.
Needs: Ender CrystalAsks for:Staff of Levity
