Mega Showdown
28 quests, with the items each asks for and where they come from in All the Mons.
- Mega Showdown!
Mega Showdown! Is a Cobblemon Addon that gives us... one, two, three, four! Four different ways to spice up Pokemon fights. We have Mega forms, Terastallization, and Dynamaxing which change our Pokemon while fighting. Plus Z-Moves which change up our Pokemon's fighting Moves. All of these require us to visit Structures, besides Terastallization. We will also need certain Accessories Equipped to use them. Look at your Inventory, then where your Skin is shown in the top right will be "Open Accessories Screen". Here is where you'll put their Items to Equip them.
- Tera Orb
In order to Terastallize we need permission. Don't ask why, I don't know that answer. The way we get permission is by wearing a Tera Orb. You'll need to Craft it. Funny enough it is made with just Vanilla Items. You can just Right Click with it to Equip or use your Accessory Screen.

- Observatory
The Observatory is a tall Structure with a giant telescope coming out of it. The first level has tons of Pots, a PC, and some Data Monitors. Second Level has Healing Stations and Glass I keep trying to walk through like how birds attempt to. The third level has Chests, Barrels, and a...
Needs: Mega Showdown! - Megaroid
Deep within the earth you might come across a Megaroid! No, it has nothing to do with physical enhancements... well besides for Pokemon. It's called roid because of Asteriods not steriods that's what I'm trying to say! In the center of the Mega-asteriod, lays the Keystone Ore.
Needs: Mega Showdown! - Mega Site
Rarely underground you might find a Mega Site. Looks kinda like a Megaroid if the atmosphere was much rougher on it. You'll find Ores in it as well as the Mega Crystal.
Needs: Mega Showdown! - Mega Stone
By Mining the Mega Crystal with a Diamond Pickaxe (or better) you'll get a Mega Stone! These don't do anything on their own, instead we'll need to use them to Craft a certain Mega Stone for a specific Pokemon. Not all Pokemon can become Mega, only a select few. Each will need their specific Mega Stone, which means if you want multiple Mega Pokemon you'll need multiple Mega Sites.
Needs: Mega SiteAsks for:Mega Stone
- Specific Mega Stones
Each Pokemon needs their specific Mega Stone in order to become Mega. They're pretty easy to tell who is who, because they're usually named after the Pokemon they're for just with "ite" after it. Each needs a Mega Stone, 2 Iron Ingots, a Diamond, and a unique Item for that Pokemon. Also, Charizard and Mewtwo have two forms of Mega with X and Y.
Needs: Mega Stone - Wishing Weald
Wishing Weald, not Well. There's no Water here, just a Structure in the Forest. Within the center of the Structure will be a fallen Star. Make a wish! Or Mine the Crystal with a Diamond Pickaxe.
Needs: Mega Showdown! - Wishing Star
"When you wish upon a Star" You'll be able to Dynamax your Pokemon! Dynamaxing is used in Battle to use a Max version of your Pokemon's Moves. This will make them grow much bigger in size, get more Health, and make their Moves even more powerful!
Needs: Wishing WealdAsks for:Wishing Star
- Dynamax Band
To Dynamax we need a Band. A Dynamax Band. Wear it so we can Dynamax our Pokemon.
Needs: Wishing StarAsks for:Dynamax Band
- Blank Z
The Blank Z-Move! Yep, it is Blank! If we want to make a specific Z-Move we'll need to Craft it with some Items to make that Z-Move.
Needs: ObservatoryAsks for:Blank-Z
- Z-Moves
Now we have our different Z-Moves. Some will just make one Move even Stronger, those are usually named after the Types like Normalium-Z. Some will change one Pokemon's Move into a different one, like Pikanium-Z. And a few are just strange like Ultranecrozium-Z.
Needs: Blank Z - Max Mushroom
The Max Mushroom grows in Lush Caves. It will be needed for the Power Spot, plus it can make some Food Items for Pokemon. Dynamax Candy which will raise that Pokemon's Dynamax Level, Max Honey which will activate a Max Move, or Max Soup to Gigantamax a Pokemon!
Needs: Mega Showdown!Asks for:Max Mushroom
- Power Spot
Dynamaxing needs a Power Spot at most 20 Blocks away from the Battle. I don't know if that's 20 Blocks away from you, your Pokemon, or the thing your fightings... just be close to all them to be sure. You'll need a Wishing Star and a Max Mushroom to create one.
Needs: Wishing Star, Max MushroomAsks for:Power Spot
- Dynamaxing
With a Dynamax Band on your Character, a Power Spot nearby, and a Pokemon ready to fight, we can Dynamax! Your Pokemon doesn't need to be a higher Dynamax Level to use it, all it will do is make their Move even more powerful and give them more Health. In Battle you can look below the Moves to see the Dynamax Button. Click it to change our Moves into Max Moves!
Needs: Power Spot, Dynamax Band - Gigantamaxing
Pokemon not big enough? Why not use Gigantamax! Only some Pokemon can use it (there's a list online but Charizard and Eevee are on it). Feed them a Max Soup (or if its Urshifu a Sweet Max Soup) and they will be able to use G-Max Moves.
Needs: Max Mushroom, Power Spot, Dynamax Band - Tera Shards
Tera Shards are rare Drops from beating Wild Pokemon. The type of Pokemon determines the Drop, so Normal Pokemon will Drop Normal Tera Shards, Fire Pokemon give Fire Tera Shards. Every Pokemon has a 10% chance to Drop them. There is also a 1% chance from all Pokemon to Drop a Stellar Tera Shard.
Needs: Mega Showdown! - Tera Pouch Black
In order to Terastallize Pokemon we'll need a lot of Tera Shards. Let's make it easier to hold a lot of those Tera Shards by using a Pouch! The Tera Pouch can hold a Stack of each type of Tera Shard.
Needs: Tera ShardsAsks for:Tera Pouch Black,
Tera Pouch Blue,
Tera Pouch,
Tera Pouch Cyan,
Tera Pouch Gray,
Tera Pouch Green
- Stellar Tera Shards
Stellar Shards have a 1% Chance of Dropping when any Pokemon is defeated. When you use 50 of them on a Pokemon they will Terastallize into Stellar Type. This is the only way to get it. Stellar Type will get a Boost for all Attacks! But it will be weak to other Stellar Types. Thankfully they are pretty rare.
Needs: Tera ShardsAsks for:Stellar Tera Shard
- Terastallizing
While wearing a Tera Orb you can use 50 of the same Tera Shards on your Pokemon to give them that Type. Obviously the Type is related to the Type of Shards you use. This will be in effect when the Pokemon is in Battle.
Needs: Tera Orb, Tera Shards - Keystone
The Keystone is found in the center of the Megaroid. You'll need a Diamond Pickaxe or better to Mine it. Each will give just one Keystone. Thankfully we don't need any more than that!
Needs: MegaroidAsks for:Keystone
- Mega Bracelets
In order to activate the Mega Stone we'll need a Mega Bracelet. Yeah, yeah, yeah I know not all of them are Bracelets. Bracelet, Ring, Tiara, whatever! As long as it fits in the Mega Slot, wear it.
Needs: Keystone - Mega Evolution
Let's go over our Checklist. Pokemon Holding their Mega Stone? Check! You are wearing a Mega Bracelet? Check! If both are checked off, when in Battle under your Moves you'll see a Button that says Mega Evolve. Click it to activate it. Then, select a Move and your Pokemon will transform. Make sure you aren't using a Z-Move with Mega Evolutions as well, you can only use 1 at a time.
Needs: Mega Bracelets, Specific Mega Stones - Archeological Site
The Archeological Site is a rocky cut out area filled with Suspiscious Blocks. There is also Chests and Pots for Loot but the Suspiscious Blocks are cooler!
Needs: Mega Showdown! - Sparkling Stone Dark
With a Brush we can uncover Items from Suspiscious Sand in Archeological Sites. Two rare Items we can get are Light and Dark Sparkling Stones. There isn't a difference between them besides the Rings they Craft. The Rings just change appearance, not effect or ability.
Needs: Archeological SiteAsks for:Dark Sparkling Stone,
Light Sparkling Stone
- Z-Rings
For some reason our Pokemon need us to wear special Rings to be able to use Z-Moves. Not sure why... but we'll need a Sparkling Stone to make it. Also a few other Items. The type of Ring doesn't matter, just changes the appearance. I like Olivia's Rings the best!
Needs: Sparkling Stone Dark - Omni Ring
Hate taking up 4 Slots in order to use Z-Moves, Dynamaxing, Mega Evolutions, and Terastallizing? Then why not give the Omni Ring a go! Just wear this bad boy in any of those 4 Slots and you'll get the function of the Z-Ring, Dynamax Band, Mega Bracelet, and Tera Orb in one little package.
Needs: Tera Orb, Keystone, Wishing Star, Sparkling Stone DarkAsks for:Omni Ring
- Z-Moves in action
Got your nice Jewelry on? Give your Pokemon a Z-Move and we'll be ready to use it! Also make sure your Pokemon knows the Move and that you aren't using any Mega Evolutions. You can't use Mega Evolutions with Z-Moves. Once in Battle, below your Moves you'll get the option to use a Z-Move! This will boost or change your Moves however.
Needs: Z-Moves, Z-Rings
