What is MoreCobblemonTweaks?
2 parts
MoreCobblemonTweaks is a client-side quality-of-life mod for Cobblemon. It doesn't add new Pokémon, items or progression. It makes the screens you already use, especially the PC and egg tooltips, nicer to work with. The pack includes version 1.3.3.[1][2]
It's a good fit if you collect and breed a lot of Pokémon and are tired of scrolling through boxes. It started as the predecessor of the official PC search, box names and box wallpapers that arrived in Cobblemon 1.7, and those features have since been removed from the mod. What's left is a set of extras on top.[1]
What you get
- Egg tooltips that show stored egg data, with support for Cobbreeding and BetterBreeding. Shiny, perfect-IV and 0-IV eggs can get a marker symbol next to their name, and a config option can swap those symbols for text lines.[1]
- A longer PC search/filter bar that takes up to 100 characters instead of the normal 19, plus autocomplete suggestions you can fill in with Tab.[1]
- Box management: a box list view where left-clicking one box and then another swaps them, and right-clicking opens a box. Wallpaper options in that view change the wallpaper for every box on the current page.[1]
- Multiselect move and release: a button in the bottom right turns the mode on. You can click slots or Shift+click a range, then release or move the whole group at once.[1]
- An IV display beside the PC UI that shows each IV and the average for the previewed Pokémon. Hold Shift to see percentages instead of raw values.[1]
Configuring it
Every feature can be toggled individually. You can edit the config file at configs/more_cobblemon_tweaks.json, or use the in-game editor if Mod Menu and Cloth Config are installed. The in-game editor is the recommended route.[1]
Unverified The sources don't place this mod on the ATM Star path or tie it to any quests in this pack, so there's no progression step to describe. Treat it as an optional convenience you can use at any point.
How do you get started with MoreCobblemonTweaks?
3 parts
Good news: there's nothing to craft here. MoreCobblemonTweaks is a client-side quality-of-life mod for Cobblemon, so you won't be making any items or recipes to get started. It just improves screens and tooltips you already use.[1]
First, open your PC and try the new tools
The biggest changes are in the PC screen. Here is what to try first, in order.[1]
- Click the filter bar at the bottom of the PC screen and start typing. You get autocomplete suggestions for search and filter terms, and you can press Tab to fill the suggestion in. You can type up to 100 characters instead of the usual 19.[1]
- Look at the left side of the PC screen. The IV display shows every IV plus the average IV of the Pokémon you're previewing. Hold Shift to see the IVs as percentages instead of raw values.[1]
- Where the release button normally sits, you'll find a box list/view button whenever the release button isn't active. It opens and closes the box list, which shows all your boxes in pages.[1]
- Tidy up your boxes in the list view. Left-click a box to select it, then left-click another box to swap the two. Right-click a box to open it. Wallpaper options in this view change the wallpaper for every box on the current page.[1]
- Turn on multiselect with the new button at the bottom right of the PC screen. Click slots to select or deselect them, or Shift+click to select a range. You can then release them all at once with the normal release button, or move them to other boxes as a group.[1]
Next, check your eggs
If you're breeding, eggs show their stored data in the tooltip. The mod supports Cobbreeding and BetterBreeding for this. By default, a shiny egg gets a gold star next to its name, a perfect-IV egg gets an aqua triangle, and a 0-IV egg gets a red hazard triangle. A config option can swap these symbols for text lines in the lore.[1]
Finally, tweak the config to your taste
Every feature can be tweaked individually. You can edit the config file at configs/more_cobblemon_tweaks.json, or use the in-game editor if Mod Menu and Cloth Config are installed. The in-game editor is the recommended way. For example, the IV names are colored by default, and you can turn that off.[1]
How does MoreCobblemonTweaks work?
5 parts
Good news and a heads-up. MoreCobblemonTweaks is a client-side quality-of-life mod for Cobblemon. Among the features its project page lists so far (it says more are coming soon), there are no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation. The listed systems are interface and tooltip improvements, and that's what this section covers.[1]
Enhanced egg lore
At the moment, eggs show any stored data in their tooltip. It supports Cobbreeding and BetterBreeding. What you see depends on which egg mod you use and on your server's config. The project page says more features are coming soon.[1]
Some mods let servers encrypt the egg data sent to the client, and then this mod can't read it. With Cobbreeding, for example, you get a tooltip warning that the egg data is encrypted and can't be displayed. You can turn that warning off in the config.[1]
- As currently listed, a shiny egg gets a gold star next to its name (optional, on by default).[1]
- As currently listed, a perfect-IV egg gets an aqua triangle next to its name (optional, on by default).[1]
- As currently listed, a 0-IV egg gets a red hazard triangle next to its name (optional, on by default).[1]
- A config option can replace all of these symbols with text lines in the lore.[1]
PC search and filter
In the current feature list, the filter bar accepts up to 100 characters instead of the normal 19. It only displays the characters around your cursor, within a 19-character window.[1]
In the current feature list, while you type in the filter bar at the bottom of the screen, you get autocomplete suggestions for search and filter terms. Press tab to fill the suggestion into the bar.[1]
Box management
In the current feature list, a box list/view button appears in the same spot as the release button, whenever the release button is not active. Clicking it opens or closes the box list view, which shows all your boxes in pages.[1]
- As currently listed, left-click a box to select it, then left-click another box to swap the two.[1]
- As currently listed, right-click a box to open that box's view.[1]
- As currently listed, the wallpaper options in the box list view change the wallpaper of every box on the current page.[1]
- As currently listed, the search/filter also works in the box list view. It filters boxes by whether any Pokémon inside matches.[1]
Multiselect move and release
In the current feature list, a new button at the bottom right of the PC UI turns multiselect mode on and off. In this mode, click single slots to select or deselect them, or shift+click to select or deselect a range.[1]
With slots selected, the release button releases them all at once. You can also move them to other boxes as a group.[1]
IV display
Opening the PC adds an IV panel to the left of the UI. It shows every IV and the average IV of the Pokémon you're previewing. The IV names are colored by default, which you can disable in the config. Hold shift to see the IVs as percentages instead of raw values.[1]
Unverified No config files or in-game descriptions for this mod were available for this pack, so the pack's actual default settings, and whether Mod Menu and Cloth Config are installed, are unconfirmed.
What changed in MoreCobblemonTweaks between versions?
1 part
All the Mons 1.3.0 ships with MoreCobblemonTweaks 1.3.3, and the mod has been in the pack since 0.15.0-beta or earlier. There are no pack changelog entries for this mod, so the notable changes below come from the mod's own 1.3.3 changelog.[2]
MoreCobblemonTweaks 1.3.3
This is the version you get in All the Mons 1.3.0. It is mostly about egg support and making the egg lore more robust.[2][3]
- Added: AllTheMons egg support.[3]
- Added: radiant egg support for Cobbreeding, shown with a blue star instead of a yellow one. It is the only egg addon that can have guaranteed radiant Pokémon, which is why it is the only one that can show this in the lore.[3]
- Added: better error handling for enhanced egg lore. If adding egg lore errors, it no longer causes a crash and is caught and logged instead. If it keeps erroring, the mod stops trying and shows a warning.[3]
- Fixed: enhanced egg lore for Cobbreeding was removing the advanced tooltips lore.[3]

Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as more_cobblemon_tweaks, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
