What is Hey Berry! SHUT UP?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.12 guide
Hey Berry! SHUT UP is a small quality-of-life fix for one specific annoyance: berry bushes. Villager AI isn't great, and when a village spawns near berry bushes, the villagers will happily wander into them and get hurt. This mod stops berry bushes from damaging villagers.[1]
It also helps you. Berry bush thorns are no longer armor piercing, and if you're wearing leg protection, you're safe from them too.[1]
The mod also has a config that can disable berry bush damage altogether. The sources don't give the option's name or file, so check the config folder in your instance if you want to use it.[1]
Who it's for
This one is for anyone who wants villages to stay alive and doesn't want to get stabbed through their armor while grabbing berries. There's nothing to craft and nothing to set up, because it works as soon as it's installed.[1]
In this pack
The pack ships Hey Berry! SHUT UP at version 1.21.0-2.0.4. It has been in the pack since version 0.32 or earlier.[2]
Unverified The sources don't say whether the pack changes any of this mod's settings from its defaults. They also don't cover where it fits in the pack's progression, so treat it as a background fix rather than something to plan around.
How do you get started with Hey Berry! SHUT UP?
1 part
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Good news: there's nothing to craft to get going with this mod. It adds no items of its own that you need to make, so the first steps are about knowing what it changes while you explore.[1]
What the mod does for you
- Villagers no longer take damage from berry bushes. Villager AI can wander into bushes when a village spawns near them, and this mod stops that from killing them.[1]
- Berry bush thorns are no longer armor piercing. If you wear leg protection, you're safe from the bushes too.[1]
- There's a config option to turn off berry bush damage altogether.[1]
Unverified The exact name and file of the config option that disables all berry bush damage isn't confirmed by the available sources, so check the mod's config file in the pack before relying on it.
Unverified No quests or crafting recipes in this pack involve this mod, so there is no recipe to follow.
How does Hey Berry! SHUT UP work?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.11 guide
This mod has no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation. It changes one thing: how sweet berry bushes hurt you and the villagers around you.[1]
What the mod changes
- Villagers no longer take damage from berry bushes. The mod's page says villager AI often walks them into bushes, so this stops villagers from dying that way in villages that spawn near berry bushes.[1]
- Berry bush thorns are no longer armor piercing. If you wear leg protection, you are safe from the bushes.[1]
Config
The project page says the mod has a config that can disable berry bush damage altogether, for everyone and not only villagers.[1]
Unverified The page doesn't name the config option or file, and no config files for this mod could be found in the pack, so whether and how you can change this setting here is unverified.
Which Hey Berry! SHUT UP config options matter?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.11 guide
This mod keeps things simple. Out of the box it stops villagers from taking damage from berry bushes, and it makes berry bush thorns stop piercing armor, so players wearing leg protection are safe too.[1]
The mod's project page also mentions a config option that disables berry bush damage altogether, which is the one setting you're most likely to care about.[1]
Unverified No config files for this mod are available for this pack, so the exact name of that option and the value this pack uses (including whether it differs from the mod default) can't be confirmed. Check the config in your own instance before relying on it.

Items and blocks
We can't match this mod to the pack's item list: it registers as heyberryshutup, and the pack's recipe dump has nothing under that name. That means we found nothing, not that the mod adds nothing. Search the item browser
